Karen J. Smedley, NP

Karen is the best NP I have ever met. She takes her time to actually truly listen to you and she explains everything to you in a way that anyone would be able to understand. She is so honest and kind every visit. She really does care for her patients and is very knowledgeable!! Absolutely love her and the staff!!!

After struggling for years to find a good primary care physician, my husband and I both love Karen and her office. The staff is great and Karen took the time to fully listen to both of us without once making us feel like she was rushing us out of the appointment. You don't find many doctors like that these days.

Karen is amazing! I love having her as my Primary! She listens, takes the time to really know and understand your issues and really help. Not just run you through like cattle at most other places. She always been right there anytime I've needed anything. She is amazing!

She is patient understanding and Incredibly knowledgeable.She will treat you like a person not as a patient number. If she does not know the answer to something or cannot diagnose immediately she will rule things out she’s not quick to just throw an answer and get you out the door. I’ve Referred people to her because she is hands-down one of the best doctors/nurse practitioners I have ever been to. My son’s been going to Her since he was born and her and her staff are so great with him. Her stuff are generally some of the nicest stuff you will come across no matter if they’re behind or anything like that which usually are not they are just calm and collected and patient with you

Karen Smedley is a wonderful NP! She's kind, caring and really listens to you! She's thorough with her examinations, relays her findings with care and makes you feel like she really cares!! Always a phone call away!

Love my doctor. She is very thorough and always has the time to spend with each patient. If takes a little more time for your appointment, She doesn't mindset will always try to get to the bottom of any and every issue.

Best thing I ever did was switch to Karen Smedley NP!! She is fair, friendly and amazing at what she does. She listens and she found that I'm not crazy the NP that I was seeing since 2015 should retire or leave Washington Co. I have a life changing condition and within 4days she found this out instead of being rude and judgemental

Dr. Smedley is wonderful she always takes her time with you and listens to you. Been going to her for awhile now and I just love her. She is the best NP I have ever seen. She is so kind and thoughtful. She truly is a sweetheart.

I LOVE KAREN! I have been seeing her for a few years now. I was originally seeing her in Bedford, but when she moved to Salem I followed her. I live in Bloomington and it’s an hour drive, but definitely worth it. She listens to what you have to say and truly tries to help with anything you need. Thank you Karen.
