Morgan's Outdoor Adventures

First time and it was really a great experience!

I HIGHLY recommend booking ahead on their website! We made sure to do this so as not to risk the chance of being turned away- not sure how well they take to walk-ins on the weekend. We went on a Sunday and there were so many people there!

The river has a few "rough" spots and you totally wanna pay attention! We made sure to speak with the guide before going down to the river, she gave a good head's up about a few spots. Those that didn't listen flipped over and didn't look too happy at one particular spot where you're supposed to get out and walk your kayak/canoe.

We had a group of 7 and did 7 miles. We got there at 12:30 and got off the river around 5:30 (that was only because the last 2 to 3 miles, we literally pushed it and did not stop paddling!) It would be VERY easy to be late for check out and then get charged extra for it (which I did NOT want any part of!)

We all definitely want to do this again!

Quick and easy rental on a Monday. Went on Sunday but parking was impossible. Quick experience. Rented 2 kayaks for 2 hrs. Had lunch up the lake across from Bird Sanctuary.

The best river to just float all day long, plenty of stopping places for lunch and swimming. The employees are the best!!! Always so laid back and friendly. My family has been coming here for years and it's a family tradition now. This year we had a group of 25 people and they made it so easy for all of us!!!

I love that they will shuttle my kayak. Not alot is places still do that. Employees are super nice

This is a good place to go on a low maintenance kayak or canoe or raft trip. My daughter and I got a double sit on kayak. It was a good trip even though we went when the water was low. Morgan's has more staff on site than any other boat rental place I've ever seen. The river is nice, but of course like with most places, there are not enough people taking care of our waterways. There was 1 or 2 jump off spots we saw people using, several good swimming areas, we saw a guy catch a 2 foot long fish. Good trip.

Great first experience on a busy Father’s Day. We went on the 7 mile trip and it was a fun float.

The staff is friendly and they let you know river conditions and what to avoid or look out for. The trash cans are a nice touch at the take out spot. Soooo many outfitters don’t have trash cans at the end of the float.

The water was clear and clean.

My only knock is most of their kayaks are beat up. I know people are hard on rentals but if the seat back straps don’t work, they should be taken out of service or fixed.

I went with a group from church, and we absolutely loved it. Everyone was friendly from the girl at check-in to the man who drove the bus after our canoe trip. Everything was clean, even the bathrooms. We were even allowed to visit a momma cat and her kittens.

This was one of the best weekends ever came to indiana to visit with family and we spent the day rafting and kayaks . Tysm

Went to Morgan’s for their Mud Gauntlet and it was a great time. I took my kids and we all did it successfully. The course was tough and fun. We went kayaking the day before and that was a blast! Then we camped overnight and that was good, though the parking was not ideal and some campsites weren’t marked well. We had some minor issues with the neighbors but resolved it. Still was a great time overall. Hoping to get one more kayak trip before the season ends!

Staying at their Brookeville location in a cabin was lots of fun. Their canoe trips are the best in my opinion. There is also lots of nearby places to find fossils.

I’ve gone with a big group of friends a couple times and it’s one of my favorite weekend summer activities! The equipment I’ve seen is in good condition. Everyone on staff from checking in, to the bus ride back are very friendly. It’s a beautiful stretch of river, which you can really take your time to enjoy.

I usually go to the other outfitter near here because it's a bit closer for me, but will be going to Morgan's from now on. We loved it and all of the staff members that we interacted with were super nice and helpful. I love being able to put in right when you arrive as opposed to waiting for a bus to transport you up river. We also didn't have to wait around after our trip. There was a group that left right before us getting off the river and we still didn't wait. They do a great job getting you back to your car asap. We will definitely be back soon.

First off, I never give 5 stars but this place really impressed me! Super classy people! The staff were very helpful and courteous. We made reservations the night before for 5 tubes but we were running behind so we called and asked to be bumped to the last trip of the day. They said no problem but when we got there they had over booked that trip. This was kind of our fault really. They apologized profusely and offered us either a voucher or our money back AND free kayaks, canoe's or rafts for a trip down the river. We chose a refund because it's a long drive for us to go back and everyone got kayaks. The day was beautiful and the river was clean and cool. My account was credited the next day(~$209)! We will absolutely go back and be on time!

These are good people. On the phone or in person the costumer service is the kind that when you start to plan your next trip you don't even consider going anywhere else.

What a wonderful experience. Hands down the best I've been to! The owners and staff made us feel like family!!!! What an awesome group of people. So polite and accomadating!! They went above and beyond to make sure our time camping and kayaking was enjoyable. I will definitely be back there soon.

Took my son here today for his 1st time, we got to witness an American bald eagle posted up in a tree and fly off majestically!! Not to mention a goat on a ridge smiling and wagging his tail lol. Had a blast, awesome place to canoe, kayak, raft, ect... Plus if you have your own vessel, you can bring it and all you'll have to pay is for the bus ride back and hauling of said vessel. They offer 7, 13 & 18 mile trips if im not mistaken. They also offer camping! Definitely recommend if you're looking for outdoor activities

Everything was wonderful. The staff at Morgan’s is so friendly and welcoming. Our campsite was right on the river with beach access making it easy to walk down with your coffee or an evening drink. Will definitely be back!!!

Been multiple times to this location. Great stretch of river that Morgan drops in, and yesterday we were able to see a large bald eagles nest with multiple birds inside.
Awesome, spot for cliff jumping if you’re into that kind of thing.
Your choice of canoe, kayak, or raft. There’s a fee if you choose to bring your personal raft, kayak,etc.
Staff is friendly, and the kids love this place!

Some of the best canoeing in the area. The stretch of river they operate on is great, with plenty of places to stop. Good for all ages. Be aware that sometimes they have to cancel last minute due to high water levels, but they will reimburse via a gift card.

Haven't had the chance to actually participate in any events here, but did visit as a sort of recon mission to see what the kids thought.

LOADS of kayaks and canoes for rent, space and tables and pavilions for groups, and even 3 little cabins for smaller getaways.

I hope our experience will be as great as the place looked, because we definitely got excited to visit and spend some time on the river!

(No idea about staff or rates, sorry. We just went to look around.)
