Hyatt Place Evansville / Downtown

Stayed here multiple times with family members while returning and departing from college. The rooms are very clean and well kept. Considering that this is not an extended stay hotel, its very nice and well staffed. The breakfast was your typical complimentary breakfast but it was prepared well and hot every time we ate.

I'd recommend this place anytime if you're staying in Evansville, even if its just for one night.

I cannot rave about the staff enough! After hours in the car my poor kiddo got sick all over. When I got to the hotel the staff went above and beyond for us, helping me check in while getting me whatever cleaning supplies I needed. Let me tell you that after a long day of driving and having to clean up junk, it really made my day. Our room was clean and the rooms are really nice. Took the kids down for a late dinner and had the chicken wings and fries, they were delicious! I highly recommend! The only downer is that you can hear all the traffic going by. I’d still stay here again, officially my favorite hotel!

What a wonderful clean hotel and best of all very helpful delightful and well trained staff. I had a family emergency (lifesupport) in Evansville and the wonderful receptionist was very passionate and with her open minded sweet personality helped me get my needed rest by just being so nice. I am a hospitality specialist and restaurant owner and would be honored to have her as an employee!!!

Convenient parking, great lobby, complete with small bar for late beer and appetizers, clean, modern spacious rooms, all in an absolutely fantastic location. No need to stay anywhere else but here.

Photo is of our kitchenette, which weirdly didn’t have a single plate, glass or silverware, but staff promptly corrected that for us - and we’re even smiling and pleasant while doing so! All staff were incredibly professional and helpful - except for Sat morning shift person behind the desk. I would definitely remove her from that role - she very obviously hated being there and really resented any type of question or interaction. Virtually everyone else was fantastic.

Are you looking for a place to host an event? Look no further than the Hyatt Place in downtown Evansville. The sales Director Kristin Comer and her team were amazing. From check in to check out time, the entire team displayed amazing customer service. The rooms were very spacious, the beds very comfortable, the free breakfast was hot, the outside ambiance of the fire pit was beautiful, in addition to the great conference we used to host our family reunion. Look no further the Hyatt Place is top tier!!!

The rooms are very nice. The pool was a nice amenity, just wish there weren't huge windows that allow people driving by to see everyone in the pool area. The breakfast has a lot of options, but the staff was having trouble keeping up with making sure everything was stocked.

Hotel is very clean and the parking is convenient. The pool was very nice to relax in after a long drive. Weirdly enough though, I will say that the best reason to stay here is the water pressure in the shower. WOW. Unbelievable. I never thought that I would write a review saying that water pressure is the best feature, but here we are. I actually put shampoo in my hair twice in one shower session, so I could experience the soap being washed away instantaneously again. Rough day playing in the mud? The showers here will take care of that. Need any tattoos removed? Consider them gone. I would stay here again, if only to take a shower.

This is my second trip Evansville for work and I’ll always choose this hotel. The staff is always super friendly and gave great food recommendations. The rooms are almost new and kept really clean, the continental breakfast is above average, location is great, and the area is whisper quiet.
The staff even went above and beyond to help us start a rental with a dead battery by giving us a jump. Shout out to Mark the from the maintenance crew!

Helpful staff. Clean pool. Spacious rooms. Nice shower (double head) with good water pressure. Best hotel breakfast I have ever had (buffet style with plenty options for entire family).

This hotel is one of the best ones i have stayed at. The service and staff are awesome and are open to conversation. Herbert (if im remembering his name correctly) was definately on point with his customer service and bartending skills. I especially like the outside seating area with the gas fire pit! The food was so good here i ate thesame

This hotel has everything I love: comfy bed, clean room, free breakfast and free parking. I just spent one night here but it was a lovely stay and I would definitely come back.

This is a nice hotel. The rooms are great & the whole place smells good, which is rare! I was able to check in at 2 & all employees were courteous & helpful. Breakfast is free, & is just okay.

Wonderful place to stay. Great stuff, very clean, close to downtown. If we ever come back we'll definitely be staying again.

We stayed at the Hyatt Place this past weekend. We had a wonderful experience from the moment we checked in. Staff was fabulous and the rooms so nice! I stay in hotels over 100 nights a year and I have to say this was the cleanest room I have been in during the last 12 months! High standards here! Thanks for taking care of me and my family!

We stayed there for 2 nights. Extremely sweet people in the staff and the rooms were very clean and well designed

Great location. Looks like lots of places to eat etc. I walked over to myriad brewing for a drink and also over to the river for a walk on the greenway. Solid breakfast and lots of places to just relax in the lobby. Rooms were spacious and clean. Love the larger TV too. Water pressure was good and strong!

The first impression of the hotel is clean, stylish, and comfortable. The continental breakfast was as expected. The hotel has a full service bar and a limited afternoon and evening menu for in hotel dining. The hotel is a good value we will definitely stay here again.
