Dr. Carlton was outstanding. He made sure I understood the diagnosis & each individual test they ran & their results. The nurses were fantastic but I want to recognize Temple specifically as well, she was a joy. 🙂

I just had the absolute best experience at paoli hospital!!! The nurses Malissa and Sally were the two nurses who did my blood work, and they made me the happiest I’ve been in a long time. They called me one of the “cutest pregnant women” and complimented me multiple times. They wished me luck on my baby, hugged me. Told me I looked great. They said they’re so glad they met me!! 🥹❤‼ They provided me with ice to hold since I needed a distraction from the needle. I cannot get over this amazing experience!!!! ❤❤❤❤ After such a rough week, and questioning why people are so mean… I got a boost of hope in humans!!!🤭👏🤩 GO PAOLI!👏👏

I just spent two days under the care of an excellent medical staff. I was diagnosed with pneumonia and had to be hospitalized. The care I received on the second floor ward was absolutely amazing. The nurses, respiratory therapists, doctors, patient care specialists and even the food was excellent. I have been hospitalized several times over the past 53 years and have to say they we absolutely the best by far!!! Thank you IU med Paoli!!

I had digestive issue a couple weeks ago. This week I've been here twice for a single fall on ice. Second visit to check for blood clot. Nicest staff ever! Temple, Norma, Dr Greenberg and a male Dr (but can't think of the name) was very nice and caring. Busy as they were with falls, still professional and caring. Thanks!

I am so impressed with the level of care I have received at the Paoli Hospital. Three years ago I had my first child there after transferring from an attempted homebirth and needing a c-section. The nurses, doctors, and surgeons were so kind and caring--making a situation that could've been bad into something positive for my husband and I. Just recently, I had my second child there. The staff was very supportive of my choice to have a drug-free labor and delivery. Once again I had a very positive birth experience (although very different from the first one!). The doctors are very skilled and knowledgable and the nurses are so supportive and caring. Additionally, there is a certified nurse midwife on staff, which is a real asset to the OB department! I feel very lucky to live so close to such a wonderful hospital.

Honestly, Paoli hospital used to be the last place you wanted to take anyone you cared about, but these days, the equipment far surpasses Bedford’s or Bloomington’s. The wait times are a fraction, & they spotted my arrogant Neurosurgeon’s mistakes within minutes, & loosely followed my case till I had to have my second brain surgery to remove his first one. I’m finally proud of our little hometown hospital. Even tho the surgeons up north have awful things to say about our area (well, mine did), they just don’t know it like we do.

I went in for my regular lab work. I am a hard stick, but those ladies are such pros. So professional, and very concerned about my comfort. The real story was Paul at the front desk. I couldn't help but overhear him helping an older woman in a wheel chair. She had concerns about the status of her medicare. He looked up the information, which really set her mind at ease. He was so kind and patient with her. I'm sure he made her day.

I brought my daughter to the ER with a high fever. I was in and out in under an hour (including two tests!). I am from out of town in a big city and the service here was unparalleled to any other hospital I’ve been to. The nurses and the ER check-in worker were all AMAZING! I wish more hospitals took pages out of these ladies’ books!!!

I've had all five of my children here. And they went above and beyond for me. It's a shame some people who may have bad experiences with one employee, rate the whole hospital this way. Also when you have a child the OB nurses get dumped on a lot by some women. I thanked them each and Everytime they came in and out of my room. And thank you to Bailey and the whole OB staff my twin girls who were the first born there in 10 years, just turned Five . And thank you to Dr. Beachy And Dr. Flinn , I believe, for taking care of us when we had to go to the ER you really do have some amazing people there ❤

I was in the area for a week and was suddenly passing straight blood in what little urine i could produce and had horrendous back pain. I knew it was a kidney stone, as I'd had one in the past. I just wanted to be sure it was small enough to pass. I am chronically ill with other issues and I have never been treated better in an ER. I had my two teen daughters with me, who were permitted to stay with me the entire time, except when I was getting a CT scan. Had the scan results within 15 mins. After initially being examined the dr was also certain it was a kidney stone and was perfectly willing to give me narcotics which I declined as I had to drive. Instead they gave me an injection of tramadol and flomax orally. Within 40 mins I felt MUCH better. The meantime I had the scan and results. They gave me a copy of the CT report to bring to my normal dr 4.5 hours away and an Rx for flomax as I had my own pain meds and muscle relaxers where I was staying. I was out of there within two hours which would NEVER happen in any of the hospitals at home. I also found out from the scan that my gall bladder is full of stones. I've been having trouble pain for four years that had been totally blown off to a previous bleeding ulcer by my drs at home. I have no complaints whatsoever. Everyone from the woman at reception to the nurse, dr, ct tech was very nice to both me and my daughters.

Yoy have your really good nurses and doctors then you have not so good. The air-vac perimedic are the best and I am very thankful for them saving my husbands life on Friday March 8th, 2017. When my husband had a massive heart attack. The doctors on duty at 100:30 a.m. And the skilled paramedics in ambulance! Thank you all very great! Prayers to you all!

This is a great smaller community hospital. It is a smaller hospital but has a good lab, x-ray, medsurge, OB and Emergency Department. They will patch you up and are able to transfer if you have a serious condition. Since this is a rural facility my family and I do buy the air evac insurance. They have a helecopter based next door to the hospital. Just keep in mind the hospital does do alot of transfers. Being so small they can not keep the specialist required for some procedures or treatments. Just realize you should see a family doctor for non emergencies. If you are sick and have no time for an appointment then go to a quick care. You should not present yourself at the ER for non emergent care. The emergency room is the most expensive type of treatment. If you go to the ER it will not be in and out visit like a clinic. They will run extensive tests and it will take a lot of time to get your results. A typical ER visit in a rural facility is about 3 to 4 hours long.

Had to have lab work that lasted 4 hrs. Staff very friendly. The girls in the lab let me lay down in a quiet room while waiting. Which was great because the test I had done make you feel horrible.

Dr Flint, NP Sally Streud, RN Loretta, and Scott from X-ray were more than fantastic in the treatment I received, they were very professional, compassionate, and understanding, they went above and beyond in making sure I was comfortable and received the best Treatment they could provide, this group of people is indeed a extremely huge asset to the hospital and I am grateful I had them looking after me, thank you from the bottom of my heart for the quality of care I received, 💙

Thanks so much for the professional care and treatment that I received from Dr. Hall and her wonderful staff I wish I remembered all the names of the staff in the ER because they all work so well together and really went out of there way to make my situation better. Thanks so much!
