Fables and Fairy Tales

This shop is amazing! We’re not local, but had an urge to visit a bookstore while in the area. Fables and Fairy Tales was absolutely delightful! Charming displays and a fantastic assortment of cute stickers, bookmarks, drink coozies and other accessories for all types of bookworm! I highly recommend checking this place out, and supporting a wonderful independent bookseller!

This bookstore and it's staff are amazing! They are friendly, personable and quirky in the most amazing sense of the word! Bookstores are sorely needed and the atmosphere, personal touches and services the Fables and Fairy Tales staff offer are invaluable! My family and I will be back, and we highly recommend this charming store!

I love our new bookstore. While much of the store is dedicated to children's literature, learning materials, and toys, they don't just have books for children -- they carry a sizable collection of new and classic fiction for young adults and adults, as well as cookbooks, journals, and non-fiction. They give you a loyalty card that you can use for a discount on your 10th purchase, too. They also have good sales. It's a truly lovely store and I always look forward to going back!

This is one of the cutest bookstores I have ever seen!!! You absolutely must stop and see it! I am so excited for Martinsville to have something like this available for everyone to support.

With coloring & reading sections for little ones and coffee and seating for adults and well as an AMAZING selection of quality books for children, it made my kid's day (all 4 of them ages 7, 6, 5, & 4)!

I love this bookshop. It's small and quant and excellent for kids. They had so many books to choose from and the owner is so nice and helpful even went as far to order a book we wanted. Definatly check this out.

This store has it all! We went looking for a birthday gift for a 6 year old girl and found reasonably priced, unique items! I will be doing this for all birthday party gifts!

Quaint independent bookstore in downtown Martinsville. They have a nice selection for both kids and adults. They also offer a variety of activities.
