We stopped in while on a mini vacation. Was simply looking for an old fashioned style lunch experience that only a mom and pop kinda place can provide. While there was only one waitress (I didn't catch her name, but was blonde), she covered the many customers well. Obviously had to try a cheeseburger and went with the double bacon cheeseburger fully dressed (even if a mini vacation, why not live it up?) with the fries and slaw sides as served. I knew I was going to enjoy the burger as soon as I saw the plate and the bottle of ketchup!! Definitely the experience we were looking for and I'd recommend anyone stopping by this place. Don't let the look of the place fool you, it's a good spot to grab a meal! Thanks to everyone at this place for the great experience!

Food here was EXCELLENT.... home cooked full of flavor and everything was full of flavor. Prices were unbelievably cheap and WELL WORTH IT. Highly suggest stopping in here. Friendly staff and great food.

A quaint restaurant, kinda takes you back in time. The food is home style cooking and very good. The service is usually top notch, but today I was there at peak business so it was a little slow as there is only one waitress. I have been there several times so I know how good she is when the place isn't packed. They are only open for breakfast and lunch, closes at 2 or 3 every day.

They were extremely busy but our waitress kept the coffee coming and was prompt to take our order. Our food was delicious. I had a nice fluffy omelette and my friend had the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were flaky and good and the gravy was a true sausage gravy instead of being just white. We'll be back when we're in the area.

BEST breakfast/ brunch in town! Mellow prices, portions could be bigger (because yeah, its THAT yummy!) Burgers and biscuits and gravy are my go to's but even simple eggs and bacon and hash browns are TALL tasty! Add some pancakes if you want!

This is a really nice mom and pop style. Restaurant. Staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant. You got to stop in, and grab a bite to eat, see what you think 🙂

Great food reasonably priced but the lack of people willing to work is hard on her but she gets it done

They have very good food here it’s all home made. The staff and Connie her self is very friendly and respectful to every one that enters the door I love going there they rear every one like family. I would highly recommend eating here

I enjoyed a delicious veggie omelet and wheat toast with decaf coffee. The only thing I would've liked to have had was flavored creamer and sugar free jelly. Very attentive and personable service. I plan to come back soon!

Loved it. Best burger I've had in years even though I came in as they where closing down.

This is the small town breakfast place that everyone talks about but is hard to find. A must go to if you're anywhere near french lick. Great service and good food with cheap food.

Nice & simple small town restaurant. Breakfast all day. Good food and service, despite that only one gal was waiting and bussing tables. Prices were great.

Good restaurant. It was older but clean. They grilled chicken for me even though it wasn't on the menu. My waitress was friendly and prompt. It was quiet and roomy. I wasn't bumping up against the people at the next table. I enjoyed this restaurant.

We stopped by today for a quick lunch. The waitresses was very friendly and did her best to hurry our order along as we only had 30 minutes to order and eat because we had an appointment that we had to be at. The food was delicious. Highly recommend this place.

Get the biscuits and gravy. Won’t be disappointed

First time there for us...Food was great , got breakfast special for the day. B/G ,eggs & ham...if U go away hungry it's your fault. Service was good & server very helpful...I would recommend this place!

I am from South Carolina and I must say that this is probably some of the best home-cooked food I have ever had. Amazing service too. Definitely will return when traveling again.
