Adventurewood Log Cabin

Very clean and cozy! They even had it decorated inside and out for Christmas! The back screened in patio is perfect for the colder months when you still want to grill and sit in the hot tub! We would absolutely go back here!

This was our 3rd stay over the years. We so appreciate the many touches of home (dry firewood, well equipped kitchen, new gas grill, pristine hot tub, etc.). The thoughtful extras were so appreciated ... lotion, plenty of TP, paper towels, soap, etc. Truly how I would set things up for a friend to visit. We've stayed at many cabins and VRBOs and by far, this is the best! We plan to come back.

I rented this cabin for my bridesmaids to stay in the night before my wedding because it was less than a mile from my venue, and honestly it was probably one of the worst experiences of my life. This cabin came recommended by my venue, but after my experience I don’t think it will be recommended any longer. The property manager, Jeff, was one of the most unprofessional people I have ever met. To quote my officiant, “one of the most disrespectful people I’ve ever met.” We had our rehearsal dinner there without knowing that we literally could not have more than 8 people on the property, I thought no more than 8 could stay the night, and Jeff drives up and takes pictures of everyone and their vehicles while we were practicing our ceremony outside. It was really uncomfortable and I’m not even sure it was legal. He didn’t come ask us what we were doing, he didn’t politely warn us that we were breaking a rule, instead he told us everyone was trespassing and he was going to call the cops, and then left. The rest of the night he proceeded to sit on his back porch and watch us, which made all of my bridesmaids really uncomfortable. The next day, on my wedding day, he charged $300 to my card for an “unapproved gathering.” I would have been perfectly fine paying the fee because it was me who did not read the fine print before I rented the cabin, but the way that he treated us was not acceptable. We left the cabin in better shape than we found it and even took pictures to cover ourselves. I do not recommend this place, the whole experience was awful on a weekend that should have been stress free.

Hope new owners updated the old property manager was awesome loved her she was great
