Holt's Cafe

Just tried Holts for the first time today! Had amazing prices, delicious home-cooked food, and the staff are so great! My husband wanted a fried egg but they were unsure of what he was talking about so he said scrambled was fine. But the cook was so curious she tried a couple times to make one to see if she could give him exactly what he was thinking of for free. She was so sweet and ended up figuring out exactly what he was thinking of despite him not knowing how to really describe it lol. She went out of her way to make sure he had what he wanted without us even asking. That made our day! Definitely will be coming back!

You can never go wrong at Holt's Cafe. I have loved everything they've ever served, from their breaded mushrooms and tenderloin to their breakfast and pulled pork. The food is excellent, the service is amazing, and the owners are friendly. It's definitely worth trying when you're in Lawrence County. I highly recommend dining at Holt's!

Had the Saturday breakfast buffet and was super impressed by the quality and flavor of all the offerings! Potatoes and eggs were perfectly cooked and not overly salty! Fried mushrooms were great and the pancake, too. Biscuits were soft and flavorful. Hot sauce available on the table but wished there was butter on the buffet (for the biscuit and pancake). Fruit salad, bacon, sausage, gravy, chicken fried steak, meaty scramble also on the buffet but I didn't have any. Carryout buffet available. They take cash and cards. Drinks are self service and a good price. I will be back, I loved everything I had!

Great food at a great price (you cant beat thier tenderloins, but bring your appetite)! The ladies are kind and I love the welcoming atmosphere.

Small kind of out of the way diner, but don't let that fool you!! The food is all homemade whether off the buffet or the menu, you won't find better food anywhere!!!
You may have to share a table but it just adds to the pleasant atmosphere where the older generation is solving the world's problems one cup of coffee at a time, or you make new friends.
For the price you pay you won't find better ANYWHERE!!!
My personal favorite is the porkchops and fried potatoes.....you all don't know what you are missing!!

Friendly, outstanding service. One of the very best tenderloins I've had in Indiana. It was a tender, moist, and flavorful cut of meat. Thick enough that you could actually taste the tenderloin and not pounded out thin so you only taste breading. The full size sandwich was probably about 50% larger than the bun. A return trip is definitely in my future!

Their service felt like family, they have the best food around and their tenderloins are bigger then a dinner plate. A little bit pricey but you get what you pay for. We will definitely be back

I missed dinner last night and just made up for it! Half a pound of bacon and sausage each to start off with. Real biscuits and gravy with 3 or 4 eggs (Who's counting?). Added a pancake, a cinnamon roll, and fresh fruit mix. And fried mushrooms galore! I'm ashamed to say I didn't even get to the country fried steak. That was probably because of the quart of coffee i sipped through brunch. True Hoosier food just south of the house about a mile and a half. Off to Lowe's, I go to walk it off. PS: The buffet ends at 1PM.

The BEST breakfast around, hands down! Made from scratch and all homemade. The breakfast buffets on Friday and Saturday are divine. Who doesn't love pork chops for breakfast!

I'm from Texas and was wanting a home cooked meal and down home feeling atmosphere I highly recommend Holts Cafe well with the drive from town the buffet has everything you can possibly crave for breakfast really made me fell like i was home great food and great service BIG COUNTRY approved

Very good food, love the mushrooms and the tenderloin. The hours are sporadic between the days and the food truck but if you can find them open it’s 100% excellent guaranteed! Don’t forget the dessert!

Kim is one of the best cooks I know. Everything is absolutely amazing! The breakfast Buffett is incredible with gravy and biscuits, bacon , sausage, fried potatoes, homemade cinnamon rolls, pancakes and more!! I also love their beans and cornbread for lunch

Ordered a double bacon cheese burger with fries and my wife wanted fried mushrooms. Everything was amazing. The cheese was melting off the burger and my wife said the mushrooms were the best thing she has had in a while. I recommend this place over almost all other restaurants in the Bedford area.

Best breakfast buffet around! On Friday they offer a brunch buffet. Breakfast, lunch, and salad bar all for only $9.00. They are also noted for having the best tenderloin sandwich around. Everything is home cooked, hand breaded, and made when ordered. Perfect little diner, to enjoy a home cooked meal at.

Holts Cafe was great today. Me and a friend both had a half Tenderloin Sandwich, and I order the deep fried Mushrooms. It was all Delicious. Going back again soon
