Smith's Carpet & Furniture

For the most part, if I even do a review, I wait until I've had a chance to use the product for a little while to give a fair review and honest feedback. We moved into our new house in November so I feel like I can give honest installation and short term feedback on our flooring from Smith's Carpet and Furniture.

We were able to find flooring for our entire house from one place, which helps out immensely when you're building. They worked very well with our builder scheduling installs and even fixing things that got messed up after the install. It only took them 3 days to install all the flooring in a 3900 sqft house, including the staircase to the basement.

You can see in the pictures that we used a lot of the LVP that came highly recommend by our salesman, Ryan. He is very knowledgeable about their products and could compare and contrast their products to others. Not only does the LVP come in almost unlimited colors and styles but it is waterproof, scratch resistant, easy to clean and looks awesome. It doesn't click and creak like the laminated flooring of the past and feels great to walk on. Works great for mud rooms, bathrooms, kitchens or anywhere else you want to have it installed.

When it came to our carpeted areas Ryan looked closely at our floor plans and made specific recommendations on traffic flow and high traffic areas. Initially we had planned to have carpet installed in the hallway but after being here for a short time I am so glad we listened to Ryan and went with the LVP instead. The LVP will withstand the high traffic (especially the turns where your feet grind down carpet) much better and will last much longer than carpet. We did go with carpet in the bedrooms and living rooms. With my spinal cord injury I lay on the floor a lot to watch TV. When Ryan found that out he recommended a specific style and brand of carpet and padding to make it as comfortable as possible for me, he hit the nail on the head and it is awesome!

Pricing is where most people look to weigh their final decision. We looked other places too and compared pricing online and when comparing the same, or like products Smith's beat everyone. Not only was their initial price below everyone to begin with but Ryan knew that we were building and it would be a while before we were ready for it. While we were waiting for construction to get to the point of the flooring Ryan called me advising that the flooring we selected was on sale for a short time through the manufacturer so if I was sure of my selection and wanted to purchase it now, to be installed later, then he could save us even more money.

I can't say a single bad or even frustrating thing about our experience with Smith's Carpet and Furniture in Spiceland and would recommend for everyone needing flooring or furniture to go see them. On a scale of 1-5 stars I give them a 10!

We have a baby due in the next couple of days and procrastinated on putting the carpet in the nursery. Smith’s was able to get us the exact carpet we wanted and even took the time to get it installed as soon as possible before our baby got here! They had us scheduled and actually called to notify us of cancellation so we could be moved up on the install list. Now his room is complete and the carpet is exactly what we were looking for. They did an excellent job and we will be back for future needs!

Smith's Carpet installed a new flooring in our kitchen about 3 years ago following a renovation project. The installation was very good and we were very happy with the look of the new tile floor. Unfortunately, the product did not hold up as well as we were expecting and showed damage after just 2 years. When we stopped by Smith's to discuss options, the owner was more than happy to schedule an appointment to stop by our house and inspect the damage. When he arrived, he explained the warranty process through the flooring manufacturer and took pictures of the damage to send to the company. Unfortunately, the company later sent an independent inspector who denied our claim. Despite being denied, Smith's has volunteered to replace the damaged tiles at no charge.

We have been very impressed with their installation and customer service. We would highly recommend this company if you are looking for new flooring.

I bought a recliner it was delivered with the week and roughly a week later it started making a unusual sound and I could feel the parts rubbing into each other since I have a warranty on it I called and they said they'd call in a week and tell me a time they can look at it two weeks passed no call so called and they said they'd call when they can get to it it's been about over two months
