Metamora Gem Mine And Luna's Garden Gift Shop

Loved this place, it's huge, with room after room of beautiful gems, crystals, and unique items. The staff is so friendly and educational. We did the gem mining and had so much fun with that, came home with bags of treasures.

Such a cool shop! We have been going to Metamora Canal Days for 25 years and I don't ever remember going into the shop. But we will definitely make it part of our trip every year from now on. So many beautiful pieces of jewelry and stones and just unique finds. We are excited to do the gem mining next year.

Absolutely love this place. Incredibly friendly staff. Very knowledgeable about their stones. So many things to select from. Make sure you stop by here while walking through Metamora.

Great shop for a diversity of crystals. We purchased the smokey quartz and amethyst. The offer still stands for the green dragon and fairy figurine. 🐉 🧚‍♂

A great little shop with sooo much inside; stones/gems, geodes, pictures, dreamcatches, trinkets, jewelry, small room with musical equipment & the list goes on & on. Terrific & funny people! They sell different size buckets with different stones, gems & fossils inside. On October 30th, two of my sister-in-laws & I enjoyed sluicing under a black light for Halloween. It was my first time sluicing😊 It's amazing seeing them glowing. If you find yourself in Metamora, be sure to stop by and see them!

I ordered kundalini mix and it did not disappoint! My kids and I had a blast looking for gems. So many gems in the bag! We're definitely planning a trip to visit metamora gem mine next year.. see you soon guys!

Place is amazing for being a little town, we got huge rocks from the mine. They even let us come in on a closed day. We bought the $350 bucket and it was well worth its price. The bucket lasted about 1 hour for 5 people so it's well worth the time. It only took 10 minutes for them to set up our bucket so we really appreciate not having to wait forever. The staff is very nice and accommodating. I would overall recommend coming here with a family They have step stools for little kids. They loved the experience and we can't wait to visit here again it was definitely worth the hour drive and there prices were crazy cheap for the big rocks they have a crystal that was about 3 feet tall was only $1150 and in Ohio that crystal would have been at least $8k so I really appreciate the experience they gave us

We are addicted to this place!! Panning for the gems is very calming and destressing! The staff is one of a Kind and always welcoming; knowledgeable. Hands down the best Gem mining stops we have been to. The buckets are well worth the cost. Highly recommend it...oh and the strawberry Italian ice 🫠

This was the reason we went on vacay and it did not disappoint. Everyone in there is very knowledgeable about gems, fossils, etc. The panning experience was what we went for and it was so much fun. It was warm out so we didnt have to worry about that while outside. We got the $50 bucket. They go for way cheaper than that up to $200. Well worth it. The pic is what we got from the $50 bucket. Would definitely go back if we ever get down around there again.

Very nice people, great with children, and super affordable. We got the $17 bucket and left with at least two quart jars full of gems and fossils. It was a wonderful experience watching them magically appear in the water.

It's a great place to take kids. With buckets of salted dirt we sleuce until we retrieve nice mineral rocks. Also lots of specimens to look at. It's worth the trip to Metamora.

This place is super fun summer or winter. The staff is always awesome and their items are reasonably priced. We usually make a day of it. Eat at the Blue Umbrella, gem mine, feed some ducks, go get ice cream, visit the music store and the numerous other shops that are open. You'll find more to do on the weekend but we've never had a bad visit yet!

Had an amazing time here!! It was well worth the drive! We got the big buck buckets and it was worth every penny! We had some amazing finds in our buckets and had a lot of fun “mining” for them. And just a heads up for anyone planning a visit, bring cash to pay if you want to avoid a service fee for using a card. The staff was SUPER friendly and welcoming. They really helped round out this awesome experience. I HIGHLY recommend this place! It is totally worth the drive for a uniquely fun experience.

I came from florida and it felt like i knew them my whole life gave really hood deals , great energy im actually stopping by there as im writting this before i head back to florida i got the $350 bucket and the pieces were very much worth it i had to come back today for more

You gotta mine your own gems!! You can pick any size bucket, we did the one mixed with fossils and the big kahuna, it will be a great memory with your family and you'll go home with some cool stuff.

My family really enjoyed our visit to the Gem Mine. The shop was full of beautiful rocks and minerals for sale and also featured a nice selection of jewelry. The shop keepers were very sweet and helpful with my exuberant children with all their questions. We did the Gem Mine and were really happy with the size, amount and variety of rocks and fossils. An amazing experience to take my girlfriend to for her birthday! The staff what kind and courteous and always willing to help and inform. We will be coming back many, many times in the future!!!
