The conditioning was very good. The scenery was amazing. The course is a challenge but also not too hard for any level of player. P.B Dye is great, and this course is a great example of his brilliance. If you like lakeside courses, this is a must play.

Man this course is brutally beautiful. Great lay out, back 9 is much more challenging than the front 9. Could use some updates carts though. We were a part of the stay and play package at Kent's harbor and we had a great time.

The best golf course in Indian, Ohio. I played here 5 times every year and never disappointed. Always enjoyed, challenging, super beautiful view

Always a good experience friendly staff. Course and greens are in good shape considering the heat we've been having and the traffic the course has on it. My only complaint is not related to the staff or course or maintenance. It's toward other players.( 1) If you hit your ball in the high grass off the fairway, there's no reason to go in and look for it because you're not gonna be able to hit it out of there anyway drop a ball where you think it went in and move on because when you don't you are holding up play. (2) If it takes you 6 shots to get on the green on a par 4, you don't need to be lining up a 30-foot putt because most likely not gonna make it again your slowing up play give your self an 8 and move on. (3) On putting greens, stop dragging your feet and REPAIR YOUR BALL MARKS because when you don't, it makes it hard to putt for other people. You make a mark fix it plus another one.

This course had amazing views! This course had great greens, and was well kept. Carts were new. Amazing course right on the lake. Well worth the money. Close by is a restaurant on the lake for lunch afterward. Great way to spend a day.

It is a challenging course but it is a lot of fun. The greens are fast but roll true. It is almost a 2 hour drive for me, but I still go almost once a week as long as the weather looks good.

played here for the first time in about 13 years. played 36 holes. just as beautiful as it ever was if not better. challenging for the amature golfer yet fun at the same time and very scenic. not sure if that was the owners in the clubhouse that helped us but they were very friendly and very welcoming. if you've never golfed here, you absolutely have to.

Love this course! We had 12 guys for the weekend. Slight frost delays but we got our golf in. Eagles nests on each 9. Course was in great shape and the folks in the clubhouse are friendly and accommodating.

I really enjoyed the course. I thought that it was tough yet fair. The staff seemed very friendly and helpful. The only complaint that I have is, the pace of play. Due to some very slow groups, it took us almost 3 hours to play the back nine.

This course is a complete masterpiece. Greens were very receptive yet fast and smooth. Hard to find combination. Pete Dye layout is spectacular. The way the greens force you to limit risks is on par with the best courses around. A little steep on the price keeps the amount of play minimized and the damage to the soft greens limited. This all adds up to a hidden gem that shouldn't be missed.

I live about 15 mins away from course, how lucky am I to have this course right down the road. My favorite course of all time. And for all the ppl with bad comments on staff, I have never met a rude employee yet, as a matter of fact Ben is the best clubhouse attendant I have ever met. Course is in great shape, greens are treacherous and perfect. This course has to be on your bucket list. And the views are absolutely stunning.

Played the course twice today...36 holes...all you can play for $70 includes a basic lunch. The course itself is outstanding...on par with many country clubs in terms of challenge and overall course condition. I've played a lot of golf at many courses around the country, and the greens here are among the best I have ever played. Roll true and fast. Most of the greens have minimal ball damage probably because the avg golfer can't land them; which speaks to the challenge of the course. Overall the course is relatively long. We played from the Blue tees and it is LONG. Par 3's were all long irons. Most Par 4's were driver and long iron/5 wood. The course has several challenging Par 5's that are very reachable in 3 but must be played strategically. The back 9 in particular is a real test of golf and ball control. If you can hit the fairways and greens, you'll score well as the greens roll very nice. If you deviate at all this course has tall grass that will suck the ball in and you not only have to take a penalty drop you're unlikely to even find it. If you struggle with ball control you will want to bring extra balls. Several holes have absolutely beautiful views overlooking Brookville Lake, which really adds to the overall experience.
Today is a Wednesday and the course wasn't very crowded. Which was great from a player's perspective as we didn't have to wait on any group in front of us. There was no starter. Two guys working the clubhouse who were fine. The older gentleman wasn't the friendliest of people and didn't seem appreciative of the business, hope he's not the owner and the person setting the tone of this place. I certainly hope this course stays in business as it's a hidden gem. I give it a 5 star rating, not because of the staff working there, but the course (for what you pay) is that good.

This course has really bounced back. I played it a couple of years ago, and it was run down and in horrible shape. The new owners that took over in 2011 have done a great job to bring the course back to the shape that this layout deserves. The greens are in good shape, although they could be a bit faster. This course can be pretty challenging, and you are definitely awarded by keeping the ball in the short grass.

Beautiful scenery and very well maintained course. Best value I have ran into in 7 years. Undulated greens, very soft sand, and incredible lay out with lots of challenges. Proshop guys were very friendly
