Their muffins and breakfast sandwiches are soooo yummy. And Iced Chai is the best around. I mainly use the drive thru and the employees are always kind and loving. I'm thankful for them.

I have been coming to this PCJ since 2008. I love it here but I have a recommendation or two.
Recently smooth jazz has been on every time I come in. I feel this is not cafe music at all. I over heard other customers complaining about the recent music as well. If you served wine, maybe lol!
Please go back to the old music, or perhaps allow the baristas a playlist they can choose from each shift. Therefore the music will be ever changing and the employees will benefit from choosing music they enjoy within reason of course. Also Lavender coffee is becoming popular. I have been driving in to Wilmington some days to get lavender coffee at a cafe that has a house made lavender syrup. It’s divine and they always have a long line of people wanting a lavender bliss, with homemade lavender and vanilla syrups combined. The premade lavender syrups taste like soap sadly, but offering two house made syrups would become a fan favorite in no time.
I love PCJ and I hope you don’t mind my rant lol. Thanks for all the years of yumminess.

I’m new to the area and this is my neighborhood coffee shop. I’ve been a handful of times and every employee has been so delightful and genuinely seems happy. The coffee is great, I’m so excited to have PCJ so close to home!

They make getting coffee very fun. Normally i get coffee and I'm uncomfortable because they are awkward but this PCJ is great!! SHOUT OUT TO MAKAYLA LAYNE!

Olivia is the best barista at PCJ. She makes my coffee perfectly every time and is always super nice to me.

I consistently have an amazing experience with this location. They are extremely helpful when I don’t know what to get and I’m never waiting more than 5 minutes. The staff is always smiling, happy, and SUPER friendly. They even leave uplifting little messages on your coffee cups. It’s the little things that make this location my favorite. You guys always start my day off right! Thank you!

They have become a key part in my morning routine. They are always welcoming, efficient and very friendly (especially in the early AM)! There is a great selection of coffee and they have never messed up my order (pretty darn good for seeing them daily for over 6 months).

Love PCJ! Best coffee around. If you're lucky enough to get Lil Will at the Waterford location to make your drink, you'll have the best coffee of your life that day! I get super excited when I see it's him making it! Seriously, he's the best barista! His drinks are the same every time so you know what you're getting! All the baristas do great at that location but he's definitely my fav! 10 outta 10... Get the iced black and tan, no whip add 2 splashes of heavy cream.🤤

I love the PCJ in Leland! Might go there a bit to much haha... But they always get the order just right! And always so friendly. I will go out of my way just to come to this store because of the service.

I'm loving there banana nut muffin right now. The smoothies are great. They have stopped the first responders discount but they are still giving .25 cent of total order if you wear your mask. Thanks for supporting.

I was very pleased with my visit to this coffee shop.

First, they offered both a made-to-order, French-pressed coffee and organic beans -- rarities in a franchise, in my experience. Second, they were willing to brew it just how I liked it, rather than their standard brew. Third, the building itself was clean, logical, and tastefully decorated. Last, when I accidentally left some jewelry of mine in the men's room, one of the employee's took the time to track me down and return it -- also rare! A glowing experience, all around!

I ordered the wrap with chicken, egg, jalapenos, corn, and beans plus a mochachino. The service was excellent and the food was pretty good. The mochachino wasn't sweet enough for my taste, so I added sugar. But it was still yummy. I should've gotten the other drink the server suggested which she said was very sweet. I can't remember the name of it, but it had caramel syrup, white chocolate powder, and chocolate sauce in a espresso.

This place is the best way to start my morning. The staff is always wonderful and attentive, no matter how busy they are. Highly recommended for not only their service, but their well brewed coffee too.

Great start and pleasurable experience. I had no clue what to order and the staff was able to answer all of my questions. Drink was strong and just the way I like my coffee. When I'm back in the area, I'll be sure to stop in again.

I love Port City Java because it's a local business with great quality coffee and tea that come in an assortment of flavors plus great food options. They have a lot of completion with a Starbucks
and a Dunkin Donuts in their area.
