West Point Kentucky History Museum

Crazy to think that just outside the 16th largest city in the nation (Louisville) is this tucked away hidden rich piece of history! Welcome to West Point, KY! If you blink you’ll miss it and there’s not really anything here to do except take it easy and relax. No stores. No mall. No hullabaloo… but it’s quiet and unassuming with Beautiful views of the River. You’ll have to bring your own food or grab a snack from the Valero gas station if you get hungry because I didn’t see one restaurant. I literally saw ONE person which is odd… or is it in a small sleepy city… but it is cool. Thinking back at how vital THIS TOWN was to the Civil War is amazing! I probably wouldn’t drive down JUST to visit but if you’re passing by it’s a treat!
