I make an effort to try bakeries / donut shops wherever I travel. My first time at Cornerstone, I was the beneficiary of someone paying things forward - so I got to try a wider range of items from their menu.

The donuts I tried:
* Fried Danish
* Apple Fritter
* Glazed (day old)
* Cinnamon Twist (day old)
* Baked Cinnamon Roll
* Maple Iced Fluff (day old)

The Fried Danish was outstanding!!! Sweet, thin layer of glaze, light, amazing texture. The only comparison around Indianapolis is Taylor's bakery, they are very similar in experience.

I was supposed to have the Cherry Fritter, but I think they swapped them accidentally. The fritter was very good, it is of the lighter, yeasty dough variety vs. the crispier, denser dough.

Even for day olds, the yeast glazed were very good. These are the staple of any shop and are easy to compare. The experience had almost a buttery finish, which I would say is quite unique. Cannot wait to try these fresh!!!!

I would probably skip the cinnamon twist, it doesn't hold a candle to other options here in the city including Long's yeast base cinnamon twist.

I arrived at about 9a, and over half of their donuts were out. So get there early.

I can't wait to go there again closer to when they open, my mouth is watering just thinking about it.

Easy 5 stars! Rated one of the best shops of its kind in the state. Very kind and professional employees. Donut and coffee were great as well. Very popular location among locals.

Best donuts ever... great service...my favorite is maple custard filled... I could eat them every day... just thinking about them makes me want one now... you can't go wrong here... worth every bit of money spent for them and then some...🥰

These donuts are delicious. The staff is so nice. The place is clean. Love their custard donuts.

My wife and I stopped for a quick donut. It was 10 o'clock on a Friday so several varieties of donuts were sold out, but we anticipate that would happen. I got a maple glazed custard filled and my wife got a blue berry lemon donut. Mine was easily in the top 5 best donuts I've had in my life, and I've eaten a lot of donuts! The folks were super friendly and the price was very reasonable, too. You owe it to your taste buds to stop here for a donut!

They're cherry fritters are amazing. Melts in your mouth sweetness sent from heaven. Friendly service. Get there early cause they go fast. This is a hidden gem.

This was a new bakery for me I had never been to it. The donuts are so good they are so fresh and warm when you first get them! My favorite is Bavarian cream with maple icing on top. They also have very good biscuits and gravy also we tried too. I would recommend Cornerstone Bakery for those donut lovers out there!

First time here and they was very friendly and very patient while my Husband and I looked and asked questions. The donuts are amazing!!! Definitely will be coming back!

This is the very best of the best in our area it's a real bakery with real yeast donuts they have a good selection and you must arrive early as it sells out quickly

Pastries are top notch here, and not just the doughnuts. Try the cherry fritters or the danish! Probably the only consistently great spot to eat breakfast locally in Greensburg.

Hands down the best donuts I’ve ever had! Their customer service is top notch- friendliest people in town! There cherry fritters are second to none!

Cornerstone bakery is the #1 bakery I have ever been to from all over the country. Seriously not an exaggeration, if you are familiar with longs in Indianapolis their yeasts are similar to that. I can't name a winner though. Everyone has apple fritters and that's whatever but cherry fritters are my go to here. Amazing, don't know how they do it. I have waited in the parking lot for an hour before just to get some when I got there right at opening. Worth it, I have driven through the floodwaters of Decatur County hills to get there on a Saturday morning. I do all I can to educate everyone I can in Indianapolis how this is the best donut place that there is. They do take cards now if that's an issue as well. I love driving past Dunkin and they have no line since they aren't good and getting here and they have a line but fast moving. Not sure how dunkin stays in business next to Cornerstone, they also have a very friendly staff.

Definitely got the best donuts in town. Dunkin' doesn't even compare to this place. Everything is always fresh and delicious, staff are friendly, and it's altogether a nice place to just sit down and enjoy the morning. And Randy on the Road ate here! I have no idea who Randy is, but he sounds important, so I thought I'd mention it. Go Randy! And go on down to the Cornerstone Bakery!

Always have the best donuts in town. As others have said get here early in the morning because they sell out quick. They also sell coffee as well. Another amazing fun fact is their love for Jesus as clearly visible from their sign. (Cross with rainbow leading from Earth to Heaven)

I was driving from Cincinnati to Indianapolis and stopped to grab a snack. I was driving a big truck so I couldn't go through the drive-thru. The ladies graciously invited me in to look through there selection. I love places like this; good food, great hospitality. Bring cash. Thanks again for going way out of your way to give me service. Cornerstone Bakery not only has delicious donuts, but they are truly living their beliefs and sharing God’s love through their business. I recently drove from out of town to get a family member a birthday treat from Cornerstone. My trip did not go as planned, but the employees were so gracious, kind, and generous. They made sure that I had a blessed day. If you want fresh, delicious donuts with a side of kindness, this is the place to go!

Finally had a chance to make it here this morning. Haven't been since it changed ownership due to work and schedules. Absolutely delicious!!! 😋 The woman at the window was so sweet and so friendly. She recommended the bacon doughnut and while I was skeptical because I have tried bacon doughnuts other places and they were not good. The bacon doughnut from here....WOW!!! It was amaizing!! Def the best place for fresh homemade doughnuts!!

Great breakfast food and people are fantastic

THE BEST DOUGHNUT STORE as my kids call it and rightfully so. These great people really do make the BEST doughnuts! Reasonably priced, not over priced and great service too.
I've always been treated with respect and kindness. Their sign out front often has kind words with their Christian base to lift up your spirits. Hurry, you gotta get there early before all the good ones are gone!

Their donuts are phenomenal! The best I've ever had, plus there is an amazing atmosphere as soon as you walk in!!!
