I had avoided going to the dentist for several years due to COVID and general anxiety over dental work. Dr Barr and his staff did a wonderful job creating an environment that felt safe and relaxing. They wore masks the entire time. The office was meticulously kept. They were all very kind and reassuring and did not make me feel ashamed for having not attended to my dental health as I should. If you have fear from a bad experience, this is the place to come. I have been going to Dr. Barr for a couple years now. We have been doing several 4 hour sessions. When I first went to see him I had not been to a dentist for 4-5 years due to a really bad experience. He was very understanding of my situation and has walked me through the whole process of fixing most of my teeth. The first time I have ever had a root canal, I was a nervous wreck. A lot of friends were telling me about their bad experiences. Because of my nerves of getting any dental work done, he is able to sedate me with medication and gas for my long sessions. I woke up the next day from my root canal and couldn't tell I had anything done. That is how good he is. I never had any problems even days after. That goes for all the work I have had done. I still have a few sessions left. I know with the work that has been done, it has given me the confidence to smile and show my teeth again. Don't wait, make an appointment for a consultation, even if you have fears. He is very understanding of your situation and can talk to you about your options. We all need to be smiling. Let him give you the confidence to show your teeth again like he did for me.
