Fried chicken meal was flavorful, crisp. Nicely done! Great atmosphere by the window.

We went here for my mother and father-in-law 65 wedding anniversary. They were very nice extremely accommodating, and our waitress Vicki knocked it out of the park with service. Will definitely go back the sassafras tea was to die for!!!!! We had 7 family members and were all extremely happy with our food choices!! Highly recommend. The power was so sweet and even let us on early so we did not have to wait in the cold.

Ate here once before. sat outside a few years ago in the summer and the sandwich was good. We had their chicken dinner today and it was fabulous. the chicken was tender and juicy. everything tasted good. The Fried Green Tomatoes were among some of the best I have had. Our waitress Mattie gave us great service. All the staff there was very friendly. Will definitely make a trip down here more often.

We were shopping in Nashville before Christmas and decided to eat here. The dining room looked festive with garland on the fireplace. It was quite busy so the bartender, Izzy, a true team player pitched in and served tables. We both had grilled ham and cheese with fries. We appreciated the delicious fried biscuits with apple butter while we waited. Our sandwiches and fries were hot and fresh. Great service! We got a huge cookie on our way out! It was awesome!

The food and service were great. Large proportion at a fair price. Everyone was friendly, and food came fast even though they were busy. Cute little shop inside to look at.

A very often overlooked place to eat. Real home cooking. Fried chicken is amazing, children's menu, and fast seating a fresh hot off the grill food. And of course you can get a cold beer too. Highly recommend checking them out next time your in town.

Excellent and clean place to try and enjoy the traditional American food- biscuits wiht their famous apple butter, hands down Fried Chicken, beef brisket. The time we went is the off-peak season, it is not too busy and the waitress Sabrina was so nice and severed us decently. Great decoration in the restaurant, including the lovely seasonal Halloween painted pumpkins.

We went on Fall Saturday evening and it wasn't busy; likely due to the iffy weather. There's a good assortment of Country-American fare. You're greeted with fried biscuit bites and some butter, I could eat 10 baskets of these. Truly an unexpected delight. The drink menu is good with some unique items and local beer/spirits. Reasonable prices. Dinner and a drink is ~$20/person.

Donna was our server who did a bang-up job despite having to cover some issues in the kitchen. She was attentive, on the ball and went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable meal even when things didn't go as planned. 10/10 personality!!

Fried chicken and fried biscuits what more can I say??? Apple butter made on site? Delicious. A landmark in the community serving great food for many years!!! Wish they were open later in the day.

Great food, great brew, and a top notch bar crew! Izzy and Clay are the best!! Actually, we enjoyed a nice lunch, great service, really friendly, considerate bar staff. You can just tell when people are nice :-).

Ate here on the way back from hi king in the state forest , just had soup and beer !! Was great the service was also very good. I feel like trying some more food here on a planed visit as they are very busy.

My wife and I ate lunch here the day after Christmas 2021. The 1st photo is of the homemade biscuits and apple butter. The second is of their Signature Nashville House Salad. We each had the salad. We both enjoyed our food and the rustic atmosphere. We had good service. We were there at about 1:30pm and there were people there, but it was not full. We would come here again.

Have eaten here many times over the last few years. A friend and I come to shop about twice a year and usually do lunch exclusively at Nashville House. Over the years we've only had one sub par experience which was related to wait staff. The food was still excellent with that visit. Overall the food is very good, I particularly like the fried green tomatoes, generous portion and tasty but not overwhelming batter. Fried chicken, plenty to eat and yummy. I also love the grilled ham and cheese, this is my go to. Simple but always hits the spot and I love their French fries. Service is typically very good and our food is out promptly, hot and not a long wait. Highly recommend when you are in town!

There was a bit of a wait but the place was packed and had a live band.
We loved it!!

No complaints here. Friendly staff, neat old building, more food on the plates then any of us could eat, and the complimentary basket of homemade biscuits with apple butter was much enjoyed. Glad we gave the place a try.

This is a must visit resturant to eat in Nashville Indiana. The blackened salmon salad was to good - I just had to dive in before taking a picture. My husband enjoyed the build-your-burger, which he enjoyed very much. The staff was attentive and responded quickly to any request, eventhough they were very busy. (Mayo, extra tea) Did not try any cocktails, however they use liquors at all levels to fit anyone's taste buds. We will be going there again!

We had 4 wonderful meals at the Nashville House, a chicken dinner, two really great house salads (I think that was the name), and I had a turkey Manhattan. The restaurant room has two fireplaces, both of which were going providing a very warm atmosphere and temperature. Several of the places we had eaten in Nashville, the cool room temperature required you to keep your coat on while eating in order to feel comfortable, not here. It was toasty warm.

The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed an exchange of friendly banter, and great attention to our needs.

The desert. . . I cannot remember the name, but a cherry crisp with a bourbon/sugar syrup, topped with ice cream was a wonderful end to the meal. We had a grand time. We had the best meals of our three day stay in Nashville, Indiana

The food was great had live music 🎶 while we were there and our waitress was very nice we loved everything and will definitely be back

1st off, when I entered, Hannah greated me with a very welcoming kind smile, tone, and energy which made me feel like i chose the best place to eat and relax in town...
2nd (but, if it was a contest, they both are tied), Donna my server was amazing... she was very polite and attentive to serving every table with her electrifying energy. Seems like an excellent ppl person. The rice was bland and she fixed it...
Other then that, the food was good.
When I'm in the area again and I'm hungry, I'll most likely visit here again.

Went out with my boyfriend, who was the musical act for the night. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Food was good, it was pretty out and we had a great time. Can't wait to come back.
