Storie's Restaurant

Decided to go local and found this gem! Food is fantastic. We parked in the back so were pleasantly surprised to see that we had a great view of a favorite town landmark. The Tree! Y'all gotta stop here. The food and the service are outstanding. Try those fried pickles! And PIE,y'all, PIE!

First, let me say I love a funky old diner. We eat at Storie's every time we drive through the area. Pork Tenderloin is my favorite thing here. It almost fills the plate! The mashed potatoes and pickled beets make me nostalgic about Grandma's house on a Sunday night. The only reason I took away a star was because my potatoes could have been a bit hotter. But once I enjoyed my Peanut Butter Pie, I forgot all about food temperature! The new owners did a great job with the tasteful interior update. This place is a gem, to be supported by everybody who ever remembers dinner at Grandma's house.

Across from tht Tree. Great service. Great food. Nice mashed, good tenderloin, not run over by a steamroller like some places. Just pounded out and fried. Great taste. Had chocolate pie as appetizer. Made sure I had room for it. Strawberry pie looked great.

From the moment my Wife and I walked into the establishment, I was struck by the inviting ambiance. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with an intimate setting that exuded coziness and comfort. "GeGa" (the owner) greeted us with a smile and was eager to make our experience unforgettable.

The menu at "Stories" was exquisite, featuring a range of delectable dishes that catered to various palates. I was impressed with the selection of both traditional and modern cuisine, a testament to the restaurant's commitment to quality.

My meal was nothing short of exceptional. The flavors were robust and perfectly balanced, and each dish was artfully presented. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring that every aspect of my dining experience was top-notch.

What sets "Stories" apart from other restaurants is the personalized touch that "GeGa" brings to the establishment. Overall, my experience at "Stories" was nothing short of outstanding. The food, ambiance, and service were all exceptional, and I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. My 1st time at stories:
Had the best server ever. KENNEDY was attentive. She Kept our drinks filled and was fantastic. The menu states that they do NOT offer French dressing. She stated that "the menu not offering French does not mean I wont get you French" BOOM! There it was. And that made the day glorious. KENNEDY, if you are reading this try French and Ranch 50/50 mix on your next side salad. I will return.

Good food. It was near closing time during our visit so staff were a bit distracted with closing g. But good food. And okay service

Food is portioned and priced perfectly. Taste is exactly what you want and need on an early Sunday morning. Staff are friendly and inviting. Very clean. Definitely will visit again! Thank you Storie's 😊

Great hometown restaurant! The food was incredible and the pie selection was amazing!! Truly nice to eat at diner type feeling, the server was so kind and very attentive. Great location on the square!

Cool spot, not overdone in decor. Tenderloin was excellent. Wife liked macaroni salad. Ladies were great. Now shakes, not so much. Not worth 4.25 was thin/milky. Will definitely be back. Really appreciate family/hometown type places.

Really nice clean establishment. The services are excellent and were friendly. I went with my parents who have some food allergies, gluten. Waitress was really polite when taking their order to accommodate them. I thought it was fantastic. Overall, good food. I'll definitely go back. Great family setting to. Also, adequate seating if you're going for a bite alone. I didn't try the pies, but they look good!

The place is awesome. Breaded tenderloin is to die for. Very nice waitresses and fair prices. We always go here when we’re in Greensburg.

Laid back, easy, dinner like atmosphere. Very nice and sweet, quick service. The place looked pretty clean and our server was excellent to our 4 children and did a great job keeping drinks filled and pleased everyone! We will most definitely be back! :)

Simply for the nostalgia. Definitely worth the short detour to downtown. Love the history. Food is great. Great Cafe ambiance. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Wonderful small town diner on the square on Greensburg, Indiana. We just stopped in for pie and coffee, which were both fresh and delicious (peace pie)!

Small town diner done right!
I've not been here since it changed owners... But from what we have seen when we went in for breakfast they are doing what it takes to continue a long tradition in local diner cuisine.
When you order an omelette someone is cracking some eggs. No carton of pre-prepared eggs here. The ham in said omelette is not just those little cubes but made of the same ham steak on special.

The waitress is bound by convention to try all the pies so they can offer an informed opinion on what is the best!

Darn few breakfast places left in the big"G". And fewer delivering decent hearty fare with home grown service that makes you smile.
I believe the new owners have stepped up to the tradition and delivered.
