Saint Nicholas Inn B&B

This place is a hidden gem! You absolutely cannot beat the price. The owner bent over backwards to get us into our room early and was extremely kind to us. The C train connection is literally two houses down so it’s very convenient to get downtown or almost anywhere. It was clean, quiet, and we felt very safe.

This hotel is a great deal considering how expensive NYC hotels have become. It’s affordable and in a great location. I would 100% stay here again.

Heading to NY for a long weekend, we were looking for a comfortable, affordable (for NY), clean place to stay while we were touristing. The St. Nicholas Inn was perfect. It has the charm of an old house and is well located, with the entrance to the 155th St. subway literally a few steps from the front door. We could be in Times Square in under 25 minutes.

The rooms were spacious with high ceilings. These are not sterile, perfect hotel rooms. The furniture is a bit older and is varied. However, it was clean, spacious and comfortable. Think staying at a friend's house.

Our host Lawrence was gracious and full of information without being intrusive. The continental breakfast was had lots of options and was tasty and filling. For those that don't mind non-standard charm, we wholeheartedly recommend the St. Nicholas Inn.

The rooms are clean and cozy. Our room didn't have a bathroom, but the shared bathrooms were clean and nice.
The Inn is also located VERY close to the subway, really nice if you wanna get around easy.
The breakfast was nice aswell. In my opinion we got more than we payed for, so I would highly recomend this place if you don't crave a luxurious hotel.

Our 3 night stay in New York was in this 100+ year old B&B. We chose the "suite" as it gave a larger room and private bathroom. While giving up some of the modern hotel amenities, a B&B has a charm that hotels don't and at a more economical price than a hotel for sure. Our room was comfortable and spacious and we loved the easy access to the subway maybe 100 feet down the street. Lawrence, the owner/host, is friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the breakfasts with the other guests. Reminded us of B&B's in Europe. We would certainly consider the Saint Nicholas Inn in the future if our travels take us back to NY.

When I visit NY again, I hope I stay here. Loved everything and above all, we loved the people and the warm welcomes every morning. Thank you.

I enjoyed the stay here. They have a shared bathroom but if you dont mind that it is a pretty good place for the price theu are asking.

Only if those wall's could talk; just think" what History they would tell me.

I only got to see the first floor because I was attending a party at the time but this place was so dope the first floor lay out was so nice and roomy very clean !
