Edge Hotel

We booked a 2 night stay for my mom and I because my Dad was having a major surgery at NY Presbyterian. I had a few questions and Dominic answered the phone and went ABOVE and BEYOND to help us out the day of check in and continued until check out. His kindness and compassion was absolutely amazing. He is beyond a wonderful young man! The room, beds and bathroom were spotless and extremely comfortable. The Keurig in the room was great. I was absolutely amazed at the quality of the staff and hotel! We were so grateful to have comfort during such a stressful time. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!

I was scheduled for surgery at Colombia Presbyterian (3 blocks away) so we made reservations the day before surgery. Luis and the other gentleman couldn't be kind enough. The room was small but clean. Prices were good. Than you for a great experience!

My room was spacious for NYC, well appointed, and designed to make the most of the space. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I was in a room that faced south so I got to enjoy a beautiful view of Manhattan from my window.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, I felt accommodated the entire time I was there.

The business center is a nice perk as well

Great hotel in new york with reasonable prices. The rooms are in a good state but are small and quite comfortable and has tv and a room safe. The bathroom also is compact but has a large shower. Overall a great discovery and we would highly recommend this hotel. The view are stunning from the top floor rooms.

This was my very, first visit to NYC and this was the perfect hotel for me to be It, was SUPER clean!! My son had an event at the Nike Amory and I walked to the place from my hotel and felt safe. The highlight was the hotel staff, Luis Gomez!!! I had an incident with a taxi that was called to pick me up for the airport and, it was a very bad experience with the cab driver he was going to put me out in the middle of nowhere because I did not have CASH!!! I had to beg him with tears in my eyes to take me back to the hotel remember I was not from NYC and the hotel called the cab for me and I just assumed he took cards. Once I got back. Luis was very upset with the cab company and sprung into action to make sure that I did not miss my flight back home! Luis went above and beyond to make sure that I arrived home safe and even had someone to call me when I arrived back in Georgia! I would stay here again!!!

My room at the Edge Hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable. I was on an upper floor facing south with a view of downtown.
The staff were warm and welcoming; Dominic was particularly helpful with directions for visiting someone at Columbia Medical Center, and for nearby restaurant recommendations.
I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was very clean. I loved how tidy and clean the entire hotel was. The staff were friendly and always helpful! I would highly recommend. If you are having a procedure at NY presbyterian they will give you a discount. There is not parking at the hotel, but there is a parking lot a couple blocks away. You can pull up right in front of the hotel where they have it coned off for guest check in. Check in and then drive to parking. It's a quick walk back. The neighborhood is clean and busy going about their daily business. Nothing like the busy masses in times square. Ask the front desk for a list of restaurants and those that do delivery. If you are looking for bagels Mike's is awesome!!!

The staff here went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. From the warm welcome at check-in to the helpful recommendations for local restaurants, their hospitality was outstanding. I can't wait to return

Edge hotel is totally AWESOME !!!! the staff over top really incredible way to many ways list & accommodations great !! Can't say enough of the greatest of the Edge it's the greatest !!

Clean and well maintained hotel. I love the views from the eighth floor. The room is simple and uses the space wisely. Bed was comfortable and the room is quiet when it’s sleeping time.

Walking distance to Columbia Medical Center, and short Uber ride to Yankee Stadium, nice, clean boutique hotel. Eric and Luis take EXTREMELY good care of us. When I called today to ask to have a refrigerator brought to the room while we were on our way to the hotel, Luis informed me that he already had one brought to the room as he saw our name in the reservation list. AND a view of the New York City skyline.

Very friendly staff. When we wanted to buy some waters, they made sure we got the cold ones in the back.

It’s small things like that that make a customer feel appreciated.

Rooms are small, but that’s Manhattan.

Your assistance and helpful information re: parking, directions and places to dine were truly appreciated. The location of the hotel is great, a short walking distance to subway, buses, Columbia hospital and many choices to dine.

Has an amazing experience at this hotel. Stayed 2 nights to attend an ultrasound conference at nearby Colombia Medical Center. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating. I double booked and one of the staff was able to cancel the other reservation. I had forgotten my charger, after I had checked out, I called to inform them and right away they retrieved it and stored it for me. The place was very clean and had a very welcoming atmosphere. The only caveat was the comfort of my mattress. Could have been better. I definitely would stay again and strongly recommend this hotel. It met my objective in that I needed a comfortable, clean hotel so I can just focus on my conference. It also is near a subway station.

I stayed at the Edge Hotel because I was having surgery at New York Presbyterian Hospital. It was ideal. The rooms are very clean and it was very quiet and a great place to recover after surgery. The staff was great. I had to get a Covid test at the last minute and they worked hard to find a place that was opened and to get me there. I highly recommend the Edge Hotel.

If only Google can allow me to give more than 5*. Chandy, Dominic, Erick, Luis, Stefan and every staff member that works there made my trip more than I could ask for. From their welcoming smiles to their pure kindness, meeting them was worth the stay. I found my go-to hotel for my future visits to New York. They were so understanding and accommodating when my flight got cancelled last minute due to bad weather on Sunday, April 30, 2023, I was hoping for another flight cancellation so I can stay another day but that didn't happen. It is a great spot if you want to cross the bridge to New Jersey or stay outside of Manhattan. Location is perfect with everything nearby from the subway to local stores, markets, etc. I'm already planning my next visit. Highly recommend travelers to explore the neighbourhood.

Loved this hotel! When booking my stay in NYC, I only cared about cleanliness, budget, and safety. This hotel marked those boxes and so much more! Also has an iron, hair dryer, and keurig coffee maker, which are all little touches that make a big difference. Only a short subway ride to the main attractions and only one block from the station. There are multiple lines that lead to the station so never had an issue getting back even latter at night. The area felt safe for the week we were there, even at night. There is an amazing deli on the corner that we ate at every day with good quality and prices. The staff here always smile at you and welcome you. And the room was extremely clean, which seems hard to find in NYC at this price point. Will definitely stay here again next time I am in NYC! Thank you for an amazing and comfortable stay!

Room nice and really clean. Plastic encasemant on mattress no bugs anywhere. No carpet..just flooring looks clean and nice. Very pretty room and bathroom . Must be a recent renovation...no smells anywhere and no smoking allowed. Only smelled clean detergent on sheets..I am allergic so I cracked open window and covered my bed with blanket then I was fine. Nice TV mounted on wall. I like it here. Small but comfortable and nice.. near columbia university and the hospital. Which I needed . The price was good...like 500 dollars for 3 nights. Not bad. Doesn't have a big lobby if you want that. Or breakfast as part of the hotel if you want that. But I was happy here. The front desk was very helpful and polite. You can control your temperature in your room...the gentlemen at the front desk taught me to open the little door on the thermostat and the heat controls are in there. Also...a small refrigerator is available on request. There is an awesome deli on the corner and a bagel store with great smelling soup as soon as you walk in the door! Since my relative was waiting discharge from the hospital...the kind gentlemen at the front desk allowed me to extend my stay as needed and was flexible with my checkout time as I waited for word when my relative can leave the hospital..

My husband had surgery at the Columbia Presbyterian Hospital which is within walking distance of the hotel. We both are so happy that we stayed at the Edge Hotel. While my husband was in the hospital and also while we stayed at the Hotel during his recovery, the staff at the Edge Hotel were wonderful! They are all caring and meet your needs as best as they can. They are so helpful, I can't say enough about them. The room we were in was comfortable and clean. If you have a loved one that needs to be in Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, and you need a place to stay, stay at the Edge Hotel. We were so grateful that we found this hotel. Staying here helped a very over whelming situation easier to go through. I am not a fast walker, and it took me less than 10 minutes to get to the hospital. There are many places in the area to get food, either within walking distance or by delivery. There is also a couple of pharmacy's near by. The front desk staff, the cleaning staff and maintenance were all wonderful to us. The price is reasonable too! They also give you a $5 breakfast voucher for a near by Bagel shop. We highly recommend this hotel and we would definitely stay at the Edge hotel again.

Never in my life have I met such loving, caring and soulful people as the three people who run the Edge Hotel. Luis, Dominic, and Eric are in my opinion HEROS. I was staying at the hotel because my husband was a patient at Columbia. Luis, Dominic, and Eric cared for me, made me feel safe and secure and offered their hearts to me. I will always be grateful for my three new brothers. They practice the love and care that the world sorely needs. I feel privileged to know three amazing human beings who went way beyond what anyone would ever imagine to help me cope with my worry and stress. Thank you, Eric. Thank you, Dominic, Thank you, Luis.
