Joy Christian Fellowship

I go to this church every Sunday. Pastors are really fun and they preach about the sermon well. My friends go there too and they are nice. Pastor Jacob is really fun and kind too. Also, I am a student at CG and it is a great way to learn about the Bible when you are a teen. Nice church. -Jonathan.D

When I first came to Joy Christian fellowship I felt that the church really loves Jesus and wants to teach biblically sound theology. I’ve been to multiple different churches in Bergen county/northern New Jersey and this was the church God wanted me to be part of. I believe He is moving tremendously in this church and wants to do great things to glorify His Name.

Joy Christian fellowship is a predominantly Asian (mostly Korean) American church with a wide age range. I love that they have a very Godly focused children ministry (infants to teens) led by people who desire to live fully surrendered to God. My heart’s desire is that more people get to know our Lord in a real way and see how amazing, loving, righteous, holy, compassionate, merciful, faithful, beautiful, almighty and all knowing He is.

I've been to a number of different churches big and small, but it wasn't until JOY that I felt like I was home.

I was not in the best place when I first arrived, but I felt welcomed and they met me where I was. That's what drew me in. What kept me coming back was the sound Biblical teaching and the deep faith displayed by the people. Now, years later I can say I'm a changed man. God has transformed me through my time here.

JOY is a predominantly 2nd generation Korean American church in Bergen county. People range from young to old, singles and families, and all walks of life. I hope others can experience God like the way I did here.

After so many years being away from God I decided 5 weeks ago on Sunday to go visit a church. While driving I passed by Joy Christian church in Englewood NJ I was greeted outside by a few members and I went in and during the service I felt so relaxed and at peace the Church band is musically beautiful that I have not missed a Sunday 9:30am service since. The Pastors are so knowledgeable of the Bible that they give you a wonderful understanding of it. God has blessed me for coming back too His home AMEN 🙏 I highly recommend this church of God. The people of the church are so happy to pray for you and lift your spirits above any harm that’s been done too you and Pastor Douglas will share His Love of God with all.

It’s so important to be under solid spiritual leadership and pastor Doug is a man of God who is humble and loves the Lord.
