I started going to ECOGIC as a visitor just before the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak in 2020. Churches and worship Temples had pretty much shut down and closed their doors. The pandemic brought much uncertainty, fear, panic and isolation for many of us. The insidiousness of the virus had taken an overwhelming number of lives across the globe and chaos increased day by day. So we prayed JESUS… Thank you Englewood Church of God in Christ for ministering to us healing, faith, hope, peace, trust and God’s love and authority. And so much more... Lady Andrea’s inspirational readings kept us encouraged, inspired and provoked thought and self examination.
I’m so grateful for Pastor Steve Schwartz and Lady Andrea Schwartz for their dedication and commitment to serve the Lord through this horrific time and more importantly demonstrating love through leadership. I deeply appreciate your loyalty and allowing us to still have “church” in our homes and bible study on Tuesday evenings through social media. Although I was a visitor, I was welcomed as family. You deserve the honor.
