ShopRite of Hillsdale

I want to say thank you to all the wonderful employees in Hillsdale ShopRite. I am unable to physically shop so I have my groceries delivered. I want to praise the people in charge of home delivery and the people that deliver my groceries .I am so proud of them they are compassionate understanding available at all times. I am so grateful for the service that I get when I order my groceries. They arrive on time everything is set up when they come in and they just very very accommodating. The gentleman who delivers is just a kind genuine person just like the employees that handle the Home delivery. Bless their hearts for helping people like myself who aren’t able to shop. I never had a problem with what I ordered or how it was brought to me no problem whatsoever so I say to all of them. God bless you for your kindness and your helper .

It's our favorite store. Always a great selection of various products for a compatible price. Very friendly personal.

They have a better gluten free section than Whole Foods. More selection. And it's great that they haven't replaced the old school signage in the front. Can't be too many stores that still have that.

In 1984, the Hillsdale NJ ShopRite caught fire from a real Christmas tree that ignited (against the fire code).
Today (2022) there is another real Christmas tree displayed in the store.
Those Who Do Not Learn History Are Doomed To Repeat It. Manager Callahan, please remove it as requested for the safety of your staff and customers.

Update, the Christmas tree was removed, the management was cooperative and indicated that public safety was of their utmost concern.

Newly remodeled, bright and clean. Courtesy counter employees always willing to research, on computer, availability of questioned product. Markdown items on display fun to look through - get some great bargains! Vast choice of brands to choose from. Ample parking.

Thank you, ShopRite employees and managers for providing great service during the pandemic. All of you who show up to work and deal pleasantly with all us anxious customers? Making sure we have a good selection of food during a national emergency? Borderline heroic work.

Excellent shop rite. Every good Is fresh. The deli is remarkable. They always have what I need cause they keep the shelves stocked. Meat n fish fresh. Cashiers are courteous. Love shopping there. I give it 5 stars.

I want to thank the cashier that paid for my son’s groceries that he purchased on Saturday April 2, 2020. Her name is Angela. He went to get his money lip out of his pocket and realized he left it home. He asked if she would hold it off to the side and he would be right back. We live in town and he wanted to run home get his money and return to pay for it. Angela insisted on paying for it. He said absolutely not. He said he has a job and would return to pay for it. When he returned with his money she wouldn’t take it. He insisted she take the cash and she kept saying No. He finally talked her into taking it, which made him feel better. He wouldn’t want anyone paying for his groceries no matter what the amount was. When he returned home I said maybe she felt she needed to pay it forward. No matter, it was Very thoughtful of her and I just wanted to acknowledge Angela. ShopRite you have some extremely wonderful people working for you. I hope employees like Angela are recognized by you and not just the people they help out.

Hillsdale ShopRite is the best! The store's employees are friendly and helpful. The stores manager, Jim Callahan cares about his customers, he instills values in his employees to create a enjoyable, positive shopping experience for his customers.

Redesigned & Rebuilt (impressive as it was Open during renovations!) Former deli with chef prepared foods, both grab and go and hot bar! Many sales and good parking. Staff is friendly and eager to please! Recommend highly!

I'm a regular customer there. The prices are good and the store has a variety of products on sale every week! The only thing is, they have stopped carrying certain frozen fish that I had bought regularly.

The store has been remodeled, it's clean, has self checkout. This location is open till midnight and staffed appropriately for the amount of traffic they get. They have a separate liquor store right across the street. Both places have a great variety of good priced I feel better than other grocery stores

One of my go to place for groceries. Big parking lots for easy park. Good veggies and food options. Different brand products and most importantly it's a reasonable price options. I would recommend this as one of my options for whole foods with cheaper prices.

Since the renovations this store is now a 5 star. It carries all the health food I used to go to other stores for. Organic veggies, dairy free, gluten free. My now go to favorite store . Still great prices and great health conscious products . Love it

The employees are polite and courteous. Especially in the Pharmacy. The Lead Pharmacist, and all of the staff, continually goes out of her way to help my family. Excellent customer service.

Love this ShopRite. Has more of a variety of Spanish food than Emerson ShopRite which is important to me. Produce section is always well stocked with fresh fruit and vegetables. The workers there are very friendly too, one of the cashiers is hilarious! I'll always go to his line even if it's a few people longer. The one thing I wish this ShopRite had more of was ripe avocado. While they do carry them ripe, supplies don't last very long. Which is fair because not many people use avocado everyday and they spoil quickly so, no points off for that!

Great store always clean, great floral Dept, Genese is the best, cashier's always so friendly. I wish the other shop rites could be just like this one. Plenty of parking, no comparison to the others
