Wonderful store, located in a beautiful town, which was lovely to walk around. Had the honor of meeting Bob Odenkirk on Oct. 8th. The event was well organized, staff was friendly and I will have smiles for days. Highly recommended as a great location to meet and get your books signed. Well worth the 2 1/2 hour drive.

My favorite bookstore located in Ridgewood's lively and lovely downtown.

They always have top-tier authors stop in to do signings and have an exceptionally friendly and helpful staff.

Went to meet Grant Hill; my book pre-purchase online on their website and subsequent pick-up the day of was breezy and convenient. Got coffee and dessert at a nearby local eatery afterwards.

I appreciated the whole experience.

Although Ridgewood has ample parking, I recommend you arrive early so you can find a nice spot whether you're going to a book-signing, doing a little shopping, or getting dinner bc small towns tend to be vigilant about parking tickets (so make sure you take the few minutes to pay for your spot using the user-friendly parkmobile app.

Protect smaller bookshops at all costs. Bookends in Ridgewood is no exception.

Not only is it an amazing little bookstore, but they manage to get all kinds of celebrities in for signings! The staff is super helpful, and they always have a designated picture-taker so you can hand your camera off to them. Sign up for their emails to get their signing schedule sent to you.

Amazing store that brings in stellar talent for book signings…super organized and respectful treatment of all of the customers, providing an awesome and memorable experience! Bookends is a local treasure, but really should be a national treasure!

Bookends your book store is so great with a wide selection. It's so cool that big name celebrities come in for fans to have a nice meet and greet. Had such a wonderful time getting to meet Iliza Shlesinger last week and Phil Rosenthal tonight. I'd come back and meet Penn Jillet and Ralph Macchio if I could; his book signing is sold out already. Haven't met big time stars in a while since the pandemic. It's actually been years since I last went to Bookends. Denis Leary was the first person I met at the store; had our pic. around somewhere. Anyway... cool book store.

Best independent bookstore around, great selection and great opportunities to meet authors

Trendy book store - Authors come here 1st when on book tour. Owners are so nice. True book lovers work here. Also has cards, local community items and toys for kids including legos. Can get signed books and memorabilia here too. Great for the whole family. My go to store when I want a physical book or gift.

I absolutely love this little bookstore. I have never gone here to shop but have attended a few book signings. The store hosts book signings by many celebrities, both small and major, from many different interests.
The book signings have long lines but are extremely organized and orderly. You pre-order the book and then pick it up before getting on line for the signing. The book signings don’t cost more than the book unless it’s for a major political figure.

The kind of neighborhood bookstore every town needs. Their book signings are fun and well organized. Cute shop. Great folks! Well worth a browse!

Excellent Customer Service. My daughter was looking for a book at Target and Barnes and Noble and I said why not call that place in Ridgewood and sure enough they had it and even put one aside for her. They were nice enough to even look up another book I was interested in and special order it but its no longer in print. That's the kind of service I like.

Love Bookends. If they don't have a book you want they will work very hard to get it. They ordered 3 books i wanted and i got them within 3 days. Great people.

I was concerned about parking for a signing event I was attending so I took Uber, but there is ample parking right next to the store. The signing event was very organized and not rushed. Looking forward to attending more signing events in the future.

Really cool book shop. They host impressive events! I've been to book signings/meet and greets, and had the pleasure of meeting Gregg Allman, Joe Perry, Lorraine Bracco, Gene Simmons, and Paul Stanley! Located in a convenient and lovely town, Ridgewood, NJ.

While their niche as a store is authors appearing for autograph sessions, it is so much more than that. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. If they don't have something in stock they will find it and order it for you. Highly recommended!
