This was such a great experience. Aris was so helpful as I was looking to get a very nice closer to assist with my storage needs. He made time to do detailed measurements, drawings, and it came out lovely. I now have a beautiful closet installed in my home. He even made it possible to fit around my already existing dresser (which I painted to match). I asked to receive it before Xmas and it came within great timing. I can’t wait to invite everyone over to see this masterpiece. I highly recommend Gothic Cabinet on Broadway in Manhattan if you want to add custom made furniture to your home.

They are not kidding about lifetime warranties. I bought a Vaso chest of drawers from their showroom on Fordham Road back in, I think, the early 90s. I got the natural finish. 30+ years later, I needed a second chest of drawers so ordered another Vaso natural. My original darkened nicely with age the past 35 years and is still totally solid. Pictures below of the old one and the new one. New one is on the left.

The deliverymen were great. One remembered delivering a storage bed to our apartment about 30 years ago. Seriously. He is right, this was my husband's apartment before we met, and yes, he had that bed at the time. I will order more from Gothic.

We have purchased from Gothic before. They built us a wall unit and a beautiful bar that have both lasted over the years and have stood the test of time. Pablo and Tony have always given great service. Recently we had custom made radiator covers installed in our bedroom and living room. They are pricey but incredibly beautiful. We needed to replace our rotting,, creaky, wooden ones and there has been one bonus! The heat is sealed in the apartment so it stays much more cozy and warm as well. So the benefits are not just esthetic. We would highly recommend Gothic for their custom-made, high quality wooden furniture. Thank you Tony and Pablo!!

I absolutely Love this place! Not gonna lie Folks, Custom work is not inexpensive, But Baby!!!! One gets what one pays for, and the talent, work and care these EXTRAORDINARY Craftsmen and women put into their work is Beyond Compare! I could not be happier with the things I had made!. The workmanship is impeccable! You won't see this quality from your local discount or hardware store with a kit, nor will you find it at Ikea. I'd say I'm only kicking myself because I should have gone with my original, larger design. I can't get over their flawless execution!

When you go there, Ask for Tony! He has a Wicked Sense of Humor. He is Personable, Professional, Compassionate and Gregarious person.
Tony is a man of his word and the kind of person it is a Joy to do business with!! There are no High-Pressure Sales tactics. He shoots absolutely straight so you know EXACTLY where you stand!

We had a great experience working with Tony and the team from Gothic for a built-in bookshelf! From the very start of our inquiry about installing a bookshelf over a radiator along one wall of our room, Tony was extremely responsive and helpful in figuring out what would work best in our space. Once we had figured out a design, Tony came to take measurements and got everything moving very quickly. When the unit was built and ready to be installed, Tony worked closely and patiently with us to make sure all of the paperwork required by our building was completed correctly, and then the crew came to install. They did a fantastic job and were so attentive to detail. Our floor and the windowsill above the shelf were both uneven due to age, and the team was able to design the shelf carefully to fit perfectly and evenly into the space! We love the result. Tony and team just completed a third apartment project with me. The craftsmanship - from initial design to installation - is always professional. The team realized a small fix needed to be made; Tony personally showed up to ensure the work was completed correctly. I am completely satisfied with my recent purchase. The entire experience was pleasant and Aris Voulamandas could not have been more professional and patient (it took me a couple of visits to settle on a finish).
My platform bed, floating nightstand headboard and dresser arrived exactly when I was told. The delivery team did a professional job, assembling and placing the furniture, cleaning up and removing all of the packing materials.
The fit and finish are excellent. I'm particularly happy to have decided to have the drawer interiors finished.

I am so happy with the bed I ordered. Even though I have some furniture from other stores of Gothic Cabinet Craft and know that they do high quality work, this bed went above and beyond my expectations.

This is the second time I ordered furniture at Gothic Cabinet Craft. Both times the experience has been hassle free, personal and extremely easy. Aris spent a great deal of time doing drawings and taking exacting measurements in my home. He made great suggestions to help me with my projects.
The first time I ordered a desk, file cabinet and two additional cabinets. This time I ordered a murphy bed with a desk attached to the cabinet when the bed is closed. Also I ordered a closed cabinet and two open wall cabinets to be installed above the bed cabinet.
All of my furniture was built to exact specifications with wood and laminate on the exterior. The workmanship was terrific. Installation of the murphy bed was done very professionally. Aris came to my home to supervise everything on the day of installation. He takes great pride in the workmanship.

My family and I have been buying from Gothic Cabinets for over 10 years so when it came time to buy a desk, of course Gothic was my first choice. I researched my options online and was able to order over the phone with Tony.

I have a standing desk, since my job requires me to be at my computer all day. The standing desk doesn’t quite fit the full desk (it was for bought for our massive office desk) but moving the desk a little and it looks perfect!

He was lovely to work with, knowledgable and responsive to our requests and needs. The closet was expertly installed by Gothic yesterday. It is beautiful. It totally exceeded our expectations.
