Yum yum yum !!!! Glazed donuts & the jelly filled donut with cinnamon sugar on the outside was FANTASTIC. We came here for coffee and ended up leaving with tons of sweet treats and full bellies. Interesting coffee menu as well, a couple different items. Also have lattes, nitro coffee, teas and more! Definitely a nice spot for a warm or cold drink and a sweet treat !!

Colonial bakery is fantastic! I ordered elmo, big bird, and a rainbow cupcakes for my sons 3rd birthday party, and they not only did a Incredible job, they were also very friendly, knowledgeable, and had them ready when I needed them! I'd highly recommend this bakery to anyone, if anyone's ever in lavalette please stop by this bakery, if cupcakes aren't your thing then try their cookies, muffins, Canolis or coffee!

Donuts and crumb cake are out of this world. Pack your patience if you wait in line, it's worth the wait. Or call the night before pay for your order go to the takeout window and you're done.

The crumb cake is the best! The bakery has a wide variety of scrumptious treats. I was very disappointed, however, with the Brown Derby cake. It used to have real whipped cream, strawberries, bananas and, of course, chocolate cake. Real whipped cream has been replaced by awful stiff white stuff and strawberry jelly has been added. It was very disappointing. Brown Derbies are hard to find, but I won't be buying it from Colonial anymore.

Our absolute favorite bakery at the Jersey shore!! Best crumb cake (powdered sugar and glazed) around. The donuts are fresh and very good too!! Friendly workers complete the great experience of shopping here.

If you never tried their crumb cake and jelly doughnuts it’s a must. We’re there two week vacation and I brought crumb cake home. We will be down next weekend and you can be sure I will get some again for coming back home.

They make the best chocolate frosted donut I have ever had. It's above and beyond. They also have great crumb cake. Decent rolls and other breads too. Not often that you find a Bakery good at everything.

My favorite bakery to go to. No places by me have the rainbow sugar cookies. They are so good. When I was down there last I got a bunch and they where gone in a day. I live an hour and a half away but I’m tempted to drive down all the time just for those cookies.

The strawberry shortcake with whipped cream frog sting is absolutely amazing and a great change up to your everyday birthday cake. So fresh so good

This bakery is the best bakery in the Lavalette area. It has great crumb cakes, brownies, cinnamon breads, and more. The staff is very helpful. I definitely reccomend coming here if you take a visit to Lavallete, Seaside Heights, or Ortley Beach.

Love this bakery. Everything is great. The best for me is the crumb cake. I always bring back to New York and I'm going there in a few minutes. Yum yum.

Best bakery - by far - at the Jersey shore !! They are typically packed in the morning on weekends, so get there early!!
