Grannie Annies Ice Cream Cafe

Visited over the weekend. I love that they have a big variety of gluten and dairy free ice cream flavors that are sweetened with agave. The pumpkin pie flavor was DELICIOUS. I could tell they took a lot of pride in being able to offer those options, and they took the time to answer my questions. Can’t wait to visit again.

Annie is a sweet woman that really cares about the quality and care that goes into her food. She has an impressive hydroponics system and I got to cut my own mint for my smoothie. It’s beautiful to see more vegan options popping up on LBI, and with such care!

Delicious ice cream! Fantastic variety of flavors! Family run business with great prices. I don’t know the name of the blonde grandson who runs the window, but he is extremely friendly and sociable. My go to flavors are cookies and cream and chocolate chip. Grannie Annie’s never disappoints!

Walked here from the Hotel LBI as I wanted to check out local vegan sweets. Was a bit of a trek (~25 minutes), but the vegan black bean brownie I purchased was very tasty. Should I visit the area again would be happy to stop by again.

The couple who owns this are the absolute sweetest and went above and beyond in making sure we had what we need. We are also dairy free so to not only be able to order vegan ice cream but to have SEVENTEEN homemade choices was fantastic. It was also the best vegan ice cream I’ve ever had. So glad we stumbled upon this gem and can’t wait to come back. After all, I have sixteen more flavors to try. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Yum! This cute shop has fresh baked pastries and a variety of ice creams fit for people with every kind of dietary restriction and everyone in between. I couldn’t decide on just one flavor so I got five! The vegan strawberry cheesecake was amazing and tastes like you’re eating real cake! I can’t wait to scarf down the rest and return ASAP! The staff was sweet and helpful and really made this place seem so personable. Will definitely be back and tell all of my friends!

Homemade lactose free ice cream style or sorbet style treats, if you know anywhere else doing strawberry cheesecake flavor in a non dairy friend treat please let me know. Other treats are allergin friendly (nut free, gluten free, etc.) But we only tried the ice cream this time.

The homemade treats are so good I almost forgot to mention the great husband and wife owners of this place. He introduced himself as her cashier and then showed us around, both of them were so nice and happy that we would be back just because of them, but the non dairy options are truly amazing

I've been looking for dairy free ice cream forever and they have it! Homemade vegan , soy, coconut or almond based! I got strawberry cheesecake , it's amazing! The owner was so sweet and nice and the prices were comparable to other places I've been that have dairy free options! They also have some gluten an dairy free baked goods!

Big selection of flavors. The one with vanilla ice cream, caramel and chocolate covered pretzels was OUTSTANDING and was a must try experience! The lady running the counter (Granny Annie I presume?) was an absolute delight. My son asked for a cone. She asked him what kind he wanted. He said he wanted a "regular" cone. She smiled and said "I know just what you mean". We will definitely be back! Maybe even on another night during this visit to LBI, but for sure on future visits. Granny Annie's = great customer service! Outstanding!

It was my first time at Grannie Annie’s, and I love that this ice cream shop has so many vegan options. Customer service was very friendly, and the ice cream was delicious! Definitely will be back again :)

Hi I'm 13 and I just experienced the best thing of my life. The ice cream at Grannie Annie was absolutely amazing, there specialty is the waffle ice cream and I love it. The people there were so friendly. I always can't wait to come here every year. I would recommend this to everyone out there.

Great place!!!! The gentleman working was so sweet, and my icecream was delicious! We tried a vegan scoop and a dairy scoop, and both were great!

This place is the cutest mom and pop ice cream place! Hand made baked goods and the staff really cares about their costumers! The owner came outside just to chat with us and we wound up talking for hours! Fantastic little cafe definitely recommend them! We will be coming back!

Owner has a great disposition, and personally greets every customer. Ice cream is the best of the best. Both soft and hard options. Large variety of toppings from which to choose. Nice places to eat both inside and out.
