I am mostly a fly fisherman, I been wanting to get into saltwater fly fishing, however been kind of lazy and cheap so went with a classic reel combo.

At here they hooked me up with great bait, gulp recommendations and true honesty and work within your price range.
Also they are scuba divers and I love scuba diving because well, IT IS AWESOME! :)

The stickers are also really cute and awesome, I rarely can find saltwater theme fishing stickers everytime I buy so many LOL, I have tons of them on my car!

My only con is one of the workers is somewhat monotone but he is a nice guy, I can understand I struggle with that too and also can't blame him but he really has been so kind and nice!

Love this place, I prefer this place over most bait and tackles on LBI!

Cannot say enough about how incredible this place is. They have a weekly kids crabbing contest during the season. Our kids loved trying to catch the largest crab of the week. The people there were always so kind to our kids and got them so excited about crabbing and fishing. They also provide fishing lessons every week. Great place.

Awesome little shop! Has everything you need and the staff is great l. Gentlemen working the counter this morning offered me advice for my fishing trip today that was very helpful!

Super Awesome Experience. They guy helped up find the right stuff to fish with. Being from the midwest we needed all the help we could get. First class shop and great customer service. A+

Owner was alittle annoyed with his help who showed up a half hour late for work.I would have fired him but on vacation I take things in stride .Owner was very apologetic but didn't matter much to me just wanted to go fishing. Ended the day catching a fluke and blue fish so I was happy.I will go back again just mabey not at 6 am

I love these guys... you have a few options on the island for bait and tackle but none come close to Service you will get from Jerry and his professional staff. These guys and gal fish the island both surf and boat and know their stuff. This is my first stop on the island everytime I visit. Great service, fair pricing, and professional knowledge. After a few visits, they may even share their own personal honey wholes. Shop with confidence...

Came here for vacation and the guy that works there was very helpful he told me about the times I can and can not fist and he told me about the honey hole lol thanks man

An excellent shop.
They have a good selection of products, priced well. If they don't have what you're looking for they will either get it for you, help you find something as good, if not better, or let you know where you can find what you are looking for.

Fresh bait as well as a large quality frozen selection. One of my go to's for fishing trips to the island- if you're an angler, just starting out or a seasoned pro- make it one of yours too!

Great store friendly staff they are always willing to help. Only bait shop in LBI to offer 24 hr service they are not obligated to do so but, they do it as a courtesy because they know what is like to be hitting fish but then you run out of bait. This is my go to bait shop everytime I go to LBI loyal Surf City Bait & Tackle for life. Thank you guys for all your great service you guys are awesome.

This the best bait shop I've ever been to. John and his wife are very friendly. They have been extremely informative to me and my son. With a lot of very good pointers. The only bait shop we will go to.

Hands down the best bait and tackle shop on the island and all surrounding areas. Sue and Jerry and their staff always treat the customer rightm give great info and advise and set you up the right way to catch fish!

This place is the best - the staff is always so friendly and helpful. They'll do their best to point you towards fish and sell you the right bait to catch them with. I've learned more about surf fishing here than from any other source. Just yesterday they tipped me off to a kingfish bite and I ending up taking home over a dozen keepers.

Not only is John good at customer service but he's one of the nicest people I have ever met. Fresh bait an updates website constantly. Very people friendly store

What a great place. An extremely helpful lady pointed me in the right direction for fishing. Am an English man abroad, so need that advice.

Have been in the shop multiple times this week, and all of the staff have been super helpful with tips on best rigs and bait for this time of season.
