I have been a patient of Dr. Jannone for 20 years. I went I to him in 2013 because he would not refill my medications, annual visit. I was then sent a $50.00 bill for services "not covered". I called my insurance company and conferenced in the biller for the Dr. named Joanne. She would not changed the insurance code to one that was covered. I have since been back and discussed this with Dr. Jannone. Again it was to go over my meds. He said so the code should be like this visit today. I said Yes. He said ok I'll take care of it. Today I went again because he wouldn't refill my meds and was told again that I had a previous balance. I would not get into it again. I made out a check for my $10 co-pay and Joanne said it would be put towards my previous balance. In about 15 minutes Joanne came back to me and said the doctor would not see me and I asked for my $10 check back. She refused stating it would go to my balance and that I would have to find another Primary Care Physician. I stopped payment on the check. I relayed to Joanne that he is my PCP and there should be no circumstances that I see him which would not be covered and it was their mistake. So in the long run, don't see him if you want to pay for services not received or if money is more important than taking care of a year patient.

Although the dr is ok, I have had nothing but problem after problem with his office staff, especially his assistant who consistently goes out of her way to be uncooperative. Steer clear from this practice imo.
