I cannot say enough great things about this adorable little establishment! The atmosphere is charming, cozy, and quaint. It sets the perfect ambiance for tea! The tea was flavorful and delicious. The food really was quite decadent and scrumptious, particularly the lemon posset, chicken salad, fresh whipped cream, and the mini grilled cheese and tomato soup. The food delivered and did not disappoint on flavor and was also served in a beautiful way on a 3 tier tray. Lastly, the service was wonderful. Our waitress was attentive, knowledgeable, and super friendly. All around it was a delightful experience and I look forward to returning! Well worth the hour long drive.

What a wonderful place! Staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. When we arrived, we were greeted by name (based on reservations). We chose the Afternoon Tea menu option with the pear ginger tea; the lemon scones were nothing short of delicious. Everything is made in-house and there are a variety of teas to choose from. The building/decor is the best combination of Victorian era meets Comic-Con. There are multiple rooms, each with a different theme that still holds true to the theme and time era. We were seated next to a cozy fireplace. There is a small gift shop which features an array of goodies.

Delightful way to spend an hour or two with good company. I've been to quite a few tea rooms but I really enjoyed the steampunk decor and different themes of Lady Magpies dining rooms. We were in the willow room that had a women's suffrage decor and an ice cream theme. (Ask the owner what ice cream had to do with women's suffrage) The food is homemade, and many of the ingredients come right from the garden on the property. The house itself is part of the Tuckerton Seaport museum tour and was the Captains House. I would definitely recommend stopping by Lady Magpies to sample the delicious teas and finger foods when you next visit Tuckerton seaport or if you love tea rooms.

Went here with my younger sister today as a little Galentine's Date. It was amazing!

The service was wonderful-- we were greeted by name at the door which is always lovely. The house itself was so eclectically decorated and warm-- it felt like having lunch at your grandmother's house (in the best way!). We had never experienced Afternoon Tea before and weren't sure if we would leave feeling full but we were both so stuffed by the end that we couldn't even finish our deserts! All of the food was delicious. The toffee scones, egg salad sandwiches, potato and leek soup, and the lemon raspberry posset were our favorites. Highly recommend the Morton's Mint tea by the way: butterfly pea flower with mint tea was an excellent combination that I wouldn't have thought to do! The live music was also so charming. It was about a 30 minute drive for us but it was defiantly worth it! We will be visiting again :)

It is a unique place to go and learn the history of the place.We enjoyed looking at all the interesting decor. It was not only decorated for Halloween but also had unique things about history and the house.You could tell the way things were on display that dedicated caring people put this amazing place together.Our tea lunch was perfect the food and staff was excellent.Thank you so much. We had such an enjoyable visit that we are planning to visit again real soon.I would highly recommend this to everyone! They will be having game night begin November 3rd.They had the. Wizard of oz board game on display.It looks like lots of fun.They are currently fundraising to help with the cost to fix up the outside of the house by repainting.

I cannot say enough about our experience at Lady Magpie’s Tea & Curiosities Shop! I just held my daughter bridal shower there, and it could not have been more perfect! From the tea selection to the delicately made tea sandwiches to the heart shaped sponge cakes and scrumptious scones, Phyllis and her team made our event a lasting memory for all. Of course the charming and unique decor was the conversation starter, and Phyllis was so accommodating; I couldn’t have made a better choice! Thank you Lady Magpie for a wonderful event!

Absolute best tea experience I have ever had. Atmosphere, service food tea and soup were absolutely perfect!! And the prices were better than most.

We had a wonderful experience. The interior was whimsical and our hosts were warm and welcoming. The finger sandwiches were an imaginative combination. From a savory bacon mayo and tomato on pumpernickel to a sweet strawberry & cream on white bread. The scones were accented by a fresh clotted cream & strawberry jam. The dessert serving was a delightfully delicious selection of strawberry cookies, lavender cupcakes, chocolate/peanut butter bar & a vanilla cream with tart strawberry topping. I was truely enjoying everything so much that I completely forgot to take photos. We couldn't have had a better experience and are planning to stop back in August to try the Harry Potter themed offerings. I will definitely update post with photos at that point.

What a lovely place to have afternoon tea. Everything was delicious, tea sandwiches and scones with clotted cream and jam.

I've been to my fair share of tea rooms and this one was a standout. The decor was eclectic but with thought and obvious curation. The food and service, however, were the real standouts! The sandwiches were freshly prepared and balanced ingredients well. There was also a nice variety (a tomato bacon on pumpernickel, strawberry, banana bread, and traditional cucumber). The scones were delicious featuring homemade clotted cream, raspberry preserves, and lemon curd. I was especially impressed with the desserts which were prepared in house and delicious. We're seasonal visitors but we'll be back next year!

Afternoon tea was delightful. This lovely historical site had lots of character and interesting tid bits of information. Afternoon tea was delicious. All the food was good. My favorite part was the scones course and the custard dessert cup. We look forward to coming back.

It was the 5th anniversary celebration with music, craft vendors, and tea and dessert. They also had games and a four person peddle car. Had a wonderful time.

Our girl beach getaway led us to an unexpected adventure, Lady Magpie’s Tea & Curiosities. The tea was stellar and there was an abundance of eye candy in the steam punk! 🤩😋

Such an amazing place! The woman who runs the tea room is one of the nicest people I've ever met, and she's so helpful and welcoming! The tea is so good, and the desserts and sandwiches are so cute and delicious! The whole experience was so lovely and so unique. The tea/food packages are so reasonably priced, and so are the items in the gift shop! We were in the "invention" themed room, and the house itself gets cold easily, so they started a fire just for my mom and I! Amazing customer service. I'll be taking so many people back here with me to visit!

My sisters and I met for the weekend and finished up our trip here and what a great way to end it! The house is beautiful and I loved that each room has a different theme. Tea was lovely. Definitely plan on returning!

I came here for my bachelorette party and it was fantastic. Even though the number of guests attending drastically changed the day of, they were super understanding and accommodating. The tea was fantastic and the soup, scones, sandwiches, cakes, cookies, and puddings were scrumptious. My partner, daughter, and I will definitely be coming back soon for lunch.

Very nice place!!! Amazing service, delicious teas, and the desserts are amazing!! Always have different teas scones and desserts. I have been here three times and never had the same thing twice!

Had a wonderful time enjoying tea and the decor here. It was like having tea in a museum. Oh, and the food was very good, too!
