Woodies Drive-in

This was a quick no reservations dinner. The Munson dog was good with the hot sauce. You have to pay $1.00 for the extra sauce. The fish diner was really good fresh caught. I think pricing is high due to supply issues? The ice coffee was okay there was a coffee grind on the cup. It wasn’t freshly made but it kept me awake.

So glad Woodies is back open. Just a block away and Pete and the staff are so super nice. The food is delicious and always fresh. A place you must stop and eat while on LBI.

Woodies is my favorite place to get lunch in LBI. they make a quick delicious burger and fries for cheap. never disappoints and the staff is truly amazing. Love when i drive by and see the old cars and bands playing.

Amazing place to dine at. It was PACKED on a Tuesday night. The wait wasn't as long as I thought it would be given the amount of people that were there. The food was amazing. Super fresh and very well prepared. It's a cash only place so be sure to have cash on hand if you decide to venture there. If not, no biggie they have an ATM on site but there is a $2 service charge to use it. It's not cheap but good food cost and it was worth it.

Follow the locals to good food - advice that never fails. Woodies delivers exactly what you would expect from a local beach staple. A freshly made burger underneath fresh toppings between a fresh roll. Everything here was solid burger joint taste. Covered outdoor picnic tables provide the perfect setting to enjoy the meal.

If you are looking for a great place to dine outside with the kids Woodies is perfect. Reminiscent of the old drive in malt shops Woodies will have you smiling. Homemade chili for your burger or hot dog... yum! Great menu for the kids. Ice cream, shakes, sundaes they got it all. Check it out for a fun meal.

Grabbed an early dinner back in July for 7 of us. Food was great -so much to choose from and you can tell it was freshly made. Staff was very nice and patient as I was ordering for so many of us. Had Elvis singing outside - the kids loved it - even took a pic with him and the littles. Can’t go wrong at Woodies! See you guys next year!

Food was excellent! We had hot dogs. My mom had a plain dog with ketchup. I had a hot dog with onions, tomatoes, and jalapeños. Keeping with the theme of the restaurant, the atmosphere was similar to an old-school drive-in diner. I highly recommend Woodies!

Their ad claims best burger on Long Beach Island. Well I haven't tried every burger on LBI, but I can tell you that Woodies makes a darned good burger. And many many varieties. From standard hamburger and cheeseburgers to all kinds of toppings. My wife enjoyed one that came with Cajun fries on the burger. My delicious burger had jalapenos, pepper jack cheese, and mouth watering fresh red onions. Left me wanting more! So good! The fries were excellent and my kids loved their grilled.cheese and chicken fingers. Also have ice cream and wings (which we did not sample today but will likely be back to try in the future). Staff was friendly and welcoming, decor was surfer themed, everything was clean, condiment bottles were full. Orders can be placed and picked up at walk up window outside or at counter inside. Both indoor and outdoor seating available. Highly recommended!

This restaurant by far had the best burgers on the island! The restaurant is very relaxed and they have a wide variety of burgers and food for everyone to find something they'd love!

Real good, thick burgers cooked right, over the fire. Love this place, I make it a point to stop at least a couple times every summer. Tonight I met the owner. The staff here and the owner are all seriously awesome. Great food, great people. You won't be disappointed here. Already can't wait to stop back in for another burger! (Also have Awesome ice cream!)

Everything there was awesome! The only little tiny tiny complaint is that it was really hot in there. But other than that everything was excellent! It was a little inconvenient cuz you have to pay with cash but my husband always has cash on hand so it was okay but others may not.

Amazing classic diner vibe with exceptional food for the right price. Proportions are good as the quality , hits the spot every time.
