I generally get 'to-go' orders and it's been great. Today I decided to actually dine-in and it was lovely. The service was fast, my waitress Christine was very kind and prompt in all she did and was very diligent in tailoring my order to make sure I got the best bang for my buck(who doesn't love a discount?). And as always, the food was delicious. I absolutely love peanut butter so, I decided to try the peanut butter pieces pancakes and they did not disappoint! Hats off to Wally's for being a place where you get good food and the entire staff makes you feel comfortable! Also, their Chicken Parm Sandwich is to die for 😋

My daughter and I enjoyed a really delicious breakfast outside on a beautiful sunny morning. She had a vegan Japanese souffle pancake. I had the breakfast burrito. Both were amazing, as was the cold brew coffee! The only issue was that the hostess forgot to assign us a server, so we sat for 15 minutes with no one even looking at our table. Brooke, our server couldn't have been nicer. The manager apologized, but some other show of appreciation of our patience would have been appreciated.
Quick update: My family of 6 returned for breakfast 2 days later. Brooke told her manager that we came back. She stopped at our table, thanked us for returning, and offered us a free entree! Impressive manager!!! My omelette was excellent 😋

This is the most special diet accommodating restaurant in a 50 mile radius. Need vegan- they got it. Need gluten free- including a gluten free dedicated kitchen? Got it. I could NOT believe the bad review I read a few months back on “limited” veg options. Ignore it and check out this amazing restaurant. Make sure to check their hours- they are a little wonky off season. Also they have a terrific website to put your party # in ahead of going (works great!). Below is a vegan chicken parm- yum!!!!

Went with my girlfriend and two friends for breakfast. Everyone really enjoyed the food. Quality food with great service. I must say the biscuits and gravy was off the hook. The vegan menu is steller. great sandwiches.

With so many good breakfast options in LBI, deciding which one is the best is a challenging task... but after this morning's breakfast at Wally's in Surf City, we know where the best breakfast omelets, burritos and Tots reside! Yes, definitely order the Boxcar Tots! The open layout at Wally's has lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Kind and helpful servers are attentive to all your food related questions and preferences. When we looked at the breakfast, lunch / dinner menus, it was difficult not to order a little bit of everything! Such an amazing variety of breakfast options, from biscuits and gravy to peanut butter pancakes to tasty egg sandwiches. Not to mention delicious gluten free dishes for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert (homemade...yum). Highly recommend Wally's for any family dining gathering and say hello to Linda, she's the best! Also, join the waitlist on their website to hold your place in line before you head out. Looking forward seeing everyone at Wally's again soon!

Hands down the BEST pork chop I have ever had! Perfectly cooked and seasoned. The veggies roasted with the apple slices enhanced the flavors so everything burst with deliciousness! Will be back for more!
The crumb cake dessert is a must!
Staff was on point, fun and knowledgeable!
All in all an amazing dining experience!

Wally’s was overall a nice place to visit! Would definitely come back.

PROS:
- Server was fantastic! We had Calli and she was so sweet.
- The atmosphere is very cute and inviting, nice for a date breakfast.
- The menu options are creative and appetizing, with some unique choices.

CONS:
- The iced coffee was very bitter and it didn’t seem like they had many coffee options (like lattes, espressos, cappuccinos, e.g.) outside of regular black coffee.
- The blue outdoor seats are SUPER uncomfortable to sit in unless you’re very very skinny. My husband and I had to scooch toward the edge of our seats and we noticed other people around us had to as well. The chair backs just dig right into your butt/hips.

NEUTRAL:
- I ordered the cookie dough pancakes and they were definitely an interesting choice. The description said cookie dough inside and out, but I’m not sure that I could taste it inside. And the cookie dough balls tasted kind of artificial. However, the pancakes were still good and I finished most of them. And maybe they’re someone’s exact cup of tea! But they were a little too artificial for me to want to reorder them. Next time, I might try the lemon blueberry pancakes!

WOW ! What a surprise this place was , the burgers were great ! They even have an extensive GF menu for those with allergies . The burgers are very flavorful and juicy, everything tasted super fresh . Definitely a place to stop and hit up if your in the area !

A Pinnacle dining experience down by the shore a lively spot even after summer great seats outdoors and inside, phenomenal presentation of foods and friendly service precisely one block from the ocean itself right in the heart of surf city! Make sure you stop here, your l.b.i. trip won't be complete without it.

The food was great and the staff were very nice. I have a gluten allergy and they were very accommodating as well as safe. Chairs could be more comfortable and nose level a bit less but I definitely recommend and will go back again!

Absolutely incredible!! I eat here multiple times while in LBI. The service all around is out of this world. Very compassionate when our family had a slight emergency mid-meal. The Wally's team came together and helped out. Very kind. The food is so good. LARGE portions! My wife and I do crepes in the morning and either Mac and cheese(includes chicken and bacon) or chicken ranch quesadillas. They have alternative milk options for coffee, as well as a Gluten free and Vegan menu. My relatives often get seafood meals and said they are excellent. If you are coming to LBI, you have to stop by Wally's!

We enjoyed a warm and inviting breakfast here a Saturday morning. We had 7 people in our party and all were pleased with their plates. I was a bit disappointed with the Japanese soufflé pancakes as they tasted more like muffins (I was expecting jiggly), but it didn't kill the vibe in the slightest because I also ordered delicious chili. All in all would highly recommend and will go back.

Really nice place! Out first visit was during restaurant week and we enjoyed the food and the value. Not as many vegetarian options on the island as I wish there were but Wally's had a very inclusive (for all dietary considerations), creative menu!

Our server Christine was excellent. She has the perfect attitude, personality, and spunk. Great with suggestions from beginning to end. Gave my husband a to go cup for rest of his iced coffee. Very attentive to ask that question then he could enjoy his coffee longer.

Had a perfect breakfast here. Lots of options and a few gluten free as well. Outdoor and indoor seating. The outdoor areas were great. The food flavorful and coffee hot 👍 Tino my server was very friendly and attentive. Definately recommend.

i'm a breakfast person so anytime we get a new breakfast place to include in our must visit again and again it's most definitely welcome... that is what happened to us when we went to LBI on a whim on an early saturday morning on an easter weekend... contemporary exterior... happy kind of chic interior... everything we ordered were great... the service was excellent... corinne was very accommodating and always smiling... one of the owners generously went to our table to explain a menu item we found that very interesting... it turned out to be really good... i'll add the picture but i forgot the name... it's our new favorite place on LBI...

Top three meals I’ve ever eaten, the food was just to die for. The vegan Madrid omelette was out of this world (best omelette I’ve ever had period, vegan or not vegan) and the Japanese soufflé pancakes were extraordinary. I’ve been a vegan for close to a decade, and am also a vegan chef with her own food business. I was blown away by not only the amount of options, but the flavors as well. Thank you for doing what you do, please don’t ever stop!

Had meals from their Winter Menu. Although a smaller menu to choose from, the food was excellent and the price is very reasonable. Added the carrot cake which was excellent. Would definitely return!

I have celiac and this is one of my favorite places to go. I feel totally safe eating here it is so nice to go out to eat and to not have to worry. The staff is very knowledgeable and always very careful.
