Absolutely unbelievable.

I got the calamari Vera Cruz over linguine and it was seriously one of the best meals I’ve had on LBI.

Our server Maggie was also awesome!

My wife and I shared a grilled shrimp over arugula salad, and a grilled swordfish. We made several special requests for each dish. Everything was perfect! It arrived warm still at a good temperature. We just put it on our plates and enjoyed a lovely quiet dinner together. My only surprise that it is a cash only restaurant. Fortunately a cash machine is right next to the pickup counter.

First the food was delicious, fresh and well prepared. The sword fish was prepared with care for the main ingredient. The rating of not being a 5 out of 5 is only because I have also eaten at a one Michelin Star restaurant in Paris so my scale is a bit high. However on LBI I think Harvey Cedars Shellfish Company is worth a stop.

The service was friendly and helpful. Also the service kept an eye on me in case I needed something and not just prior to bringing the check. I also appreciated the gratitude for a decent tip. Refreshing.

The atmosphere was one of three small tables in a patio alley with a beautiful hedge row. Like an intimate garden cafe. It’s summer and peaceful outdoor places for dining are always something special.

The prices are fair given the fresh and local seafood as well as portions. I would certainly come back.

Great, fresh seafood. Lobsters still crawling on display. You can get a meal or carryout raw seafood to cook @ home. BYOB (liq./beer store on corner) + they'll give ice buckets & glasses for wine. CASH ONLY (ATM inside). Only waited 30mins., 4 ad. + 2 kiddos - 1lb lobster & mussels was delicious, as the broiled seafood platter. Decent kids menu. Small/cramped inside seating area, but it helps they've added outdoor tables w. umbrellas to keep wait times down. Parking = nightmare (tiny lot for maybe 10 cars & no str. parking nearby. We've parked 2 blocks away @ garage & blinds/shades businesses that were closed for the day but had spaces avail. out front.

Best scallops I’ve ever had. Everything was so fresh and tasty!

A seasonal regular for us. Serving seafood favorites as well as some different takes on classics. Casual dining where you can show up in flip flops or high heels...but the food is always first class.

This is one of my absolute favorite restaurants in the world. Everything is delicious. My personal favorite is the sauteed mussels in the white wine sauce that I get literally every time I visit. Highly highly highly recommend this place!!!!!!

This has got to be the best seafood on Long Beach Island!!! Nothing on the menu is bad!! Some recommendations are the tomatoes, old bay fries, calamari, lobster, shrimp scampi, and the shrimp and scallop salad. If you are anywhere on the island, you have to go to this place!!!

Loved it! Ordered the fried shrimp with fries. Among the best I've ever had. Shrimp cocktail as the appetizer was fresh and tasty with 6 large shrimp. Only downside was that the shrimp needed to be peeled. Excellent service with very friendly staff. Parking across the street can get crowded during peak times.

Do you even go to LBI if you don't get the seafood broiler plate & Calamari Veracruz from Harvey Cedar shellfish Co? I say no!

This place is as wholesome as the their corn is sweet. Staff is friendly, ambiance is 'beach/classic/adorable', food is fresh, delicious and their portions bring you back to a time before inflation ruined everything.

If you have not been...you are missing out.

We went for dinner on Tuesday 7/3. The food was incredible. Olivia was our waitress and she was an absolute gem. She was kind and attentive and took the time to answer questions. If she didn’t know she made sure to ask someone who did. The calamari was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. I personally had the crab cakes. Some of the best I have ever had. Pure lump and minimal filling. My husband had the fish tacos, and they were huge and he said they were delicious. Their French fries were crispy and batter dipped perfection. Can’t wait to come here again!

Harvey Cedars Shellfish is by far the best restaurant on the island! The food is unbeatable and the staff is amazing. 10/10 can’t wait to go back!

If I had to describe my experience in one word it would be: so good. They serve pasta AND seafood here…together in one dish. Who thinks of that. A culinary genius, that’s who. Service was impeccable, vibes were right on. Only recommendation would be some light tunes in the background. I felt almost as if I was on a ship, so a sea shanty or two would be delightful.

A landmark casual summer dinner restaurant with great New England Clam Chowder and more! The crab cakes with the orange butter dipping sauce were chock full of crab, cooked well, and delicious. Everything we ordered here was wonderful. We have eaten here and done take out as well, and never been disappointed. It is small, and popular, so be prepared for a wait at peak times. The staff is friendly. Parking in front is limited, but the lot across the street is theirs too. Note that it is cash only (they have an ATM here).
