Delicious!! From the moment we opened the door the staff was welcoming. Loved the cozy vibe and warm fireplace. Nikki was our attentive and friendly server. My husband and I ordered a variety of cocktails and appetizers. We enjoyed every bite! My husband said it was the best calamari he has ever had. The ricotta was to die for. I would have been happy with just the ricotta alone! He had the lobster gnocchi and I enjoyed the oven roasted chicken breast. The chicken was super tender and I enjoyed the flavor and artichokes. For dessert we had the bread pudding and chocolate pot de crème. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and can’t wait to come back again!

Memorial Service Luncheon for my brother Jaime…Perfection!👍🏻 My family and I were greeted by a lovely staff member outside the entrance followed to the private upstairs room. WOW!! Our room was so inviting…decor simply beautiful!🤩 Centerpieces were exactly as I instructed it to be done on all the tables…a very pretty sheer beige table runner over white linen table cloths and gold flatware with small bouquets of mixed eucalyptus leaves and votive candles along with a variety of eucalyptus, orange 🍊and lavender towelettes for our family and guests….a very nice touch.
As for the food…farm to table 😋 EXCELLENT!!
For starters, a spring salad with fresh peas 🫛 and
mint, mouth watering Crab 🦀 cakes with fingerling potatoes and other fabulous food ending with warm chocolate pudding bread!!
Oh! did I mention Justin and staff…AMAZING!!…so attentive to all. I didn’t have to worry about one thing…how well organized BES’s is run.

Incredible experience ~ drinks, appetizers & entrees were wonderful but most of all the service received was one for the books. We are new to this area and the twinkle lights drew our attention. Nicki was amazing - her energy really made the night & the owner Karen was pleasant & shared more about their Wednesday pasta night & Thursday night bingo. We will be back to try their pizza next! *get the Brussels sprouts - they are too good to miss!

First, the atmosphere buries the needle-a lovely neighborhood establishment with outdoor fire pits and loads of hardwood to keep the fires burning. My son is a big fan and we wanted to visit for his and his twin sisters birthday. We ordered a selection of happy hour and dinner menu items: pizza, whipped ricotta (!), wings, mussels, cheeseburger, pizza puffs, bread pudding. What a meal! Try the bourbon and rum special cocktails. Huge kudos to our server Mary M she was the nicest person to spend two hours with. 10/10 folks!

No doubt the best high end bar/restaurant in the Island. They go above and beyond in all the details.

A short but sweet menú, lovely wine picks, refreshing cocktails, every day specials, and of course, food for the people who enjoys well rounded meals.

This absolutely one of the best restaurants on LBI!! You will not find a more friendly staff, service is incredible, food is more than delicious. Whether you are having a simple pizza or one of the amazing fish dishes. Chef Chris has a way of bringing out all of the flavors. The black garlic cesar salad is a must start. I highly recommend this restaurant, we go at least once a week.

Wow! That was a great dinner. Went for a final family meal on the island, and found ourselves impressed. Between our party of 6 we tried a bit of everything, the Angry Crab pizza and Lobster gnocchi especially impressed.

A very pleasant surprise. There were 8 of us and we ate on the porch. It was the perfect venue for us. We shared many things. Ceviche, a new salad, tuna tartare, lamb, bucatini, etc. We brought copious wines: chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, malbec, rioja, rose. We had a great meal, sharing everything. Dessert was really good too. We celebrated a birthday, so there was a peach crumble, and a bread pudding. Service was friendly and efficient with new utensils every course. A gem.

Wonderful food. It is incredibly fresh and scratch made. The lobster gnocchi and pizza are a must. Will definitely be going back.

Excellent food, friendly staff, I LOVE this restaurant! Owners are always present and they make sure their guests are treated like family! The fish is always fresh and the pizza is indescribably delicious. There were 6 of us so we got 3 different pizzas, calamari, whipped ricotta, tuna tartare, fries, and I had the tile fish for my main course. I almost didn't share the tile fish with my wife because I was enjoying every bite! We had this blueberry crumb cake for dessert and almost couldn't get up because we were so stuffed. Even the cocktails were amazing. I couldn't imagine a more enjoyable dinner experience.

Fast service on a Saturday night. This is definitely a trendy spot. I got the chicken with blackened garlic aioli sauce. DELISH.

What an amazing venue for a small wedding! The food was delicious. Thank you to the chef and kitchen! From the charcuterie table, appetizers and sour dough bread to the tile fish and braised beef entrees to the outstanding bread pudding for dessert. Our guests raved about everything. The staff and servers were excellent and the venue was beautiful. And a big thank you for accommodating our ceremony due to the weather!

Great place. You need reservations for the tent, but the tables on the way in are first come first serve and great for a quick bite and drink. The pizza is next level. Simple but well crafted with just enough char on crust to accent, but not overpower. The great food and warm staff make it easy to forget you're dining in a parking lot.

Walked in Fourth of July weekend around 8 and they accommodated us inside no problem. Friendly service and good food and drinks. Angry crab pizza is our favorite and never disappoints. Good portion sizes too.

Ate here with some family members on an off season Fri night. Our table was ready on time. The food was good and the service was exceptional. Our server, Emily, was attentive without hovering. She answered our questions and was extremely knowledgeable about the menu.

We came for an anniversary dinner. The food was fantastic—fresh & delicious. The only (slight) disappointment was the bread pudding. Service was great, they even reserved a ‘special’ table for our anniversary! We will be back!

First time here. Atmosphere was nice with an upscale look. Service was excellent, the staff were friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu items.
Every part of our meal was fantastic from the apps to the main dishes. Shrimp scampi pizza special was terrific and the Gnocchi with Broccoli Rabe and lobster the best.

Such great service from Sophie for being so busy. The Angry Crab Pizza and artichoke appetizer were the best one two combo I have ever had. The wine was a little pricey, but all in all, we recommend this restaurant.

My new husband and I rented the private 2nd floor event space for our microwedding reception. We are so thrilled with our experience and decision to celebrate at Black Eyed Susans. The food was exceptional which was very important to us when planning our big day. Members of our party all agreed these were the best crabcakes we've had in our lives! The staff was incredibly friendly and even partook in the "Advice for the New Mr. And Mrs." station which we loved that the the staff was both professional and part of the family for the evening. If you're looking for a beautiful space to rent for a special occasion please consider Black Eyed Susans for your big day!
