CASH ONLY. For a diner this place is fantastic!!! The food is fresh! The service is great! Clean! Open for dine inside or outside. Their omelets are wonderful. Our favorite was the liverwurst & onion sandwich! Second best was the potato skin omelette. My son loved the fried clam platter (I thought they were a little chewy). Thumbs up 👍 to this place. One of the best diners we have been to with regard to the food!

Fun, cozy diner with fabulous food! Although the menu would be considered "typical American breakfast", the quality of the cooking & food is unsurpassed. The flavor of their grits was heavenly as were the english muffins and everything here is done to perfection! Fun, friendly servers and a must-visit while on LBI! Go early to avoid wait times. Cash only. 5-stars across the board!

Went here several times when I was younger. Don’t remember enjoying it as much as I have the last time I visited. The food was really good though. Great local diner with lots of regulars. Little cozy inside and AC wasn’t very strong but still comfortable with excellent service. Reasonably priced tasty food - I had a breakfast sandwich with waffles. Cash only! Definitely swing by for a bite if you’re in the area. Cheers!

Pancakes are undoubtedly the best on the island and quite possibly the best I've ever had. Everything is made fresh to order. Eggs are always cooked perfectly. You won't find a better breakfast on LBI.

That all being said, this place gets VERY busy. Like there will be people waiting outside from 9am-noon busy. There is almost always a wait. I would recommend calling ahead of time and seeing if you can get put on the waitlist if you plan on eating there. Also cash only.

By far the best diner for breakfast on the island. Randomly started craving their pancakes today and flashbacked to the summer. Always a great atmosphere. The wait staff is kind and wonderful. Make sure to get there early or be prepared to wait. There's a reason it's always packed!! Cash only.

Breakfast on point. Cheesesteak, French Dip, Turkey Club, and French fries the must haves. Wait for your table outside and listen for your name to be called. Some of the most experienced wait staff around. Bill always in the kitchen.

Great place to start the first day of my Long Beach Island trip! This restaurant has amazing food, friendly staff, clean facilities, and a fun, warm, and inviting energy. I had an omelet with home fries and a chocolate milkshake. Amy was our waitress and she was extremely kind, funny, and attentive. Mustache Bill’s has held an important place in my families’ lives, and I am so happy that it is now a part of mine.

Everything from the time we walked in, to the moment we left was fantastic. Service was excellent, and the employees made you feel like family. The food was excellent, and you could tell how fresh it was! Definitely our new breakfast spot!

Wonderful diner, friendly staff, food is fast and furious. I’m here in October so they’re only open open on the weekends. Come and get it.

I'm not one for diners, but this little place is irresistible. Charming, original (with a bit of an added-later wing around the back) old school diner with friendly service and plentiful portions. The corn muffins are the best I've tasted anywhere. Bill does custom by-request pancakes when it's not crazy busy: we've had a dog-shaped pancake as well as a mermaid pancake.
If you're staying on Long Beach Island, a Mustache Bill's breakfast, brunch or lunch is a must. Our family stops over every time we're on the island.

Bring cash: it's the only accepted form of payment.

A LBI staple. Great food, great prices, and run by great people. Barnegat Light wouldn't be the same without it.

Clearly a legend in Barnegat. Food is very good. Some might say the atmosphere is part of the charm. Others will say time for a renno.

Great local breakfast spot! It's a popular place so either get there early, call ahead if you have a large group, or be patient. Food comes fast & delicious, plus they have gluten-free pancakes!!! That is almost unheard of! Can't wait to go back again!

Fantastic breakfast! From my perspective the staff is friendly and efficient. The food is well prepared and hot. The grits get no better than if you drove to the southern states. Our #1 spot for breakfast and lunch while in Barnegat Light!
