Stafford Twp Police Department

Excellent Police Department. They go out of their way to assist the public and very civic minded. I do not live in Stafford but would not hesitate to live in that township because of the professionalism displayed by the Officers I have had the privilege to meet. It is a credit to their Police Chief, who I have not had the honor to meet, but realize that professionalism starts at the top.
A bad Police Department usually has a bad Top Dog, as do any other organization.

Stafford Twp. is an amazing police force. They have worked diligently to create a safe area—and have done so with a serious focus on community policing. Also, their vision for crisis care and intervention is ahead of its time. I'm proud to have this force protecting my hometown.

By far and away the best police department in the ocean county area. Baarnegat, tuckerton, waretown and tom's river are terrible and half the time don't know what they're doing. That is not the case with the Manahawkin department. Praise to this department for working to change the standard of quality of police in New Jersey and America!!!

I have visited the Police building many times with my Grandfather, who was the Chief of Police. They are so kind and they are always there for everybody.

So blessed to have these officers protecting us. Amazing response times, and such wonderful people.

Always helpful. Respond quickly and courteous. From Dispatch to Chief a good group of people.

As long as you don't come in on wrong side of the law you're good here. Twsp people doing they're job,and quite well .

I call to report a car that was driving in the centre of two lanes for a while and wrote down the license plate number. When I called they said they got another report and I said do you want to double check the license plate number and she got nasty and said no I told you we have it and she rushed me off. That’s what I get for doing my civic duty

Violate everyone's rights and make up charges all the time. They have 18 yr old cops who always resort to violence and arresting people for no reason.

I feel like they don't do anything else but hand out tickets. Focus on the real crime.
