I just have to say thank you so much for my new smile. I couldn't be happier. I would recommend them to anybody friends, family, coworkers. The staff is great from when you make your phone call to make your appointment when you walk in and be created from the receptionist, they are so friendly. Everybody is so nice. I found my forever dentist. Thank you everyone there!

My 11 year old son had to have a wisdom tooth removed. Dr. Bland performed the surgery. She put our minds at ease at the consultation and the morning of surgery. Both she and the staff were great with him. He had an easy recovery and everything went well!

Doctor Marc Buttacavol did an excellent job putting a cap in. I'd never had one before and except for the 2 shots to numb the area, but who likes needles any way, not one bit of pain. He's the best dentist that you have and if he ever wasn't there, myself and my family members would leave and follow him. I don't care for Smiley dental because things that you used to pay for, you don't anymore. Your office support folks and Doctor Mark is what keeps us there as patients.

I don't ever write reviews, but I can't say enough good things about this office and the staff. I have avoided the dentist for so long because I have severe anxiety of having dental work done. Everyone that works there is so friendly and were so great at putting my mind at ease. I feel like my whole perspective has changed now about seeing the dentist and I feel confident about my future visits here and trust that I will be in the best care. I definitely recommend this office if you're in need of dental work!

I went in for the worst toothache of my life. After a weekend of suffering the office got me in as early as possible on a Monday (November 6, 2023) and although I had to wait they made sure I was comfortable and seen. First the regular dentist Dr. Patel (she is amazing) found the problem a rear loose tooth that appeared infected, spoke to the oral surgeon who was on site and recommended two options. One was a cleaning as my gums are getting old and worn but noted this would be a meticulous routine of cleaning that could go on for a while and may not be the solution I need. The second option was pull the tooth and call it a day. I opted for that as it is the furthest bottom back tooth. So after a small wait they did just that. Dr. Elisa Bland (also amazing) came in, explained what was going on, shot me up, eased my massive anxiety (her staff & nurses are also a team of amazing women) and numbed my mouth. Then I swear in less than a minute pulled that tooth out. No pain at all, at least not then. They gave me my prescriptions, explained my post-op (several times as I was in a daze), gave me written directions also as I was so out of it and sent me on my way. Two days in & my swelling is so bad, moving around my face and quite honestly scaring me, I emailed Dr. Bland which was given to me in the written instructions. I explained what was happening and my fears and within an hour she responded herself from her iPhone. She definitely put my mind at ease and explained my infection was so bad & that this was normal. She also offered to see me if I needed that to ease my mind. I decided to be a big girl and ride it out a few more days, it is only what they consider day two. I highly recommend the entire Team at Encore. Most people are not thrilled to go to the dentist and they make it way easier even for adults who are in pain and scared of the unknows. I had a great experience at Encore Dental of Lacey. My visit was under an hour. My dental hygienist was EXTREMELY thorough and kind. She educated me on the up keep my teeth require (due to over crowding and gum issues) and she did an amazing job with my cleaning. Dr. Patel was also kind and compassionate, and her bedside manner was fantastic. Trips to the dentist aren't always the easiest, but the staff at Encore made it comfortable, quick, and I left there feeling SO much better about my oral health. Thank you Encore of Lacey!

My 14 year old needed braces today. We have been going here for about 2 years now for regular checkups but today was a different story. My daughter was super nervous but the Orthodontist was excellent! She explained everything in “normal” speak and Heather put her braces on. My daughter left feeling confident and pretty :) I would definitely recommend for all dental services. Super clean facility and the staff from start to finish is amazing

I was very scared going into the office but Rachel greeted me with a big smile. She took the time to explain everything and eased my mind. Dr. Bland came in and greeted me also with the same pleasant compassionate attitude In short it was the BEST dental experience I ever had and I full heartedly recommend them. Such a large staff that appointments can easily be scheduled. Office is clean, many exam rooms, large and friendly front desk staff. We don't even live in the same town as the practice but it is worth the drive. Never disappointed. I believe my hygienist was Christine and the dentist was Dr Patel. Both very friendly and attentive.

The best experience always with Dr. Patel. My favorite dentist and the staff was wonderful as well. I had an emergency and they were able to get me in right away. Thank you again Dr. Patel.

Maggie and Dr. Patel are the best. They do excellent job each time and they have amazing personalities. Maggie was always very gentle and thorough when she does my cleaning and makes you feel so welcome every time. She goes above and beyond, the best hygienist I’ve had! Dr. Patel is also very kind and approachable and excellent at what she does, she always goes above and beyond each visit!

Lauren was SO gentle and SO careful. Bedside manner was top tier. Brought my fidget toy and barely needed it. The beautiful Asian I forgot her name did my x rays was SO careful with my micro mouth not to hurt me. First time I left a dentist without my gums bleeding. Best experience I ever had at a dentist!!!!!! Thank you Encore!!!!!

I’ve been going to a Encore Dental for a 1 1/2 . I always have a great experience. I never have to wait in the waiting room they get me in and out in a timely fashion. My hygienist is Maggie she is absolutely the best pleasant always happy. Always strike up a conversation. And my doctor is Mark Also very pleasant. I would highly recommend both of them.

My husband and I are new to Ocean County and are new patients at Encore Dental of Lacey. Our daughter is a patient of Dr. Patel, and strongly recommended the practice to us. We both had GREAT experiences during our first dental hygiene visits yesterday. Everyone was very friendly, very professional, and very clean. The facility felt very sanitary. We were respected and cared for as individuals. The equipment is state-of-the art. The staff is warm and very open to questions - very important when someone is literally "in your face" cleaning your mouth. We both received good advice from two different doctors on daily tooth health and care. There was no pushing of any cosmetic procedures. We are very happy to be patients here, and will strongly recommend this practice to others.

Have to say, this place is amazing. If you are looking for great dentists and staff, look no further. Absolutely the BEST.....

I've been going here for at least 8 years. The front desk is efficient with check in and insurance processing. The hygienists are professional, helpful & kind, knowledgable, and thorough; they are the core part of the success of the operation. All the dentists there are good so I use whoever is available with no preference, the exam is easy and the work when needed has been top notch. They have a good system and a good team, that is why I always go back.

Love the entire staff at encore dental in Lacey. Dr. Patel is beyond amazing. She’s so wonderful to be with. She has so much heart as a dentist but even more as a human being. She listens and takes time to get to know you. After working with her for a year and fixing my daughters teeth creating a beautiful smile, I would easily call her family and a friend. I highly recommend Encore Dental in Lacey. I know my children won’t mind going to their 6 month checkup ever again.

Encore Dental has been caring for me since moving to Ocean County 7 years ago. They are ALWAYS on time. Front desk associates are knowledgeable in insurance. They are friendly and professional. Doctors, assistants and hygienists are excellent. If you are going to have any minor or major work you are provided with a cost estimate.
I recommend this practice to friends and family when the opportunity presents itself.

On Friday evening I started to have pain in a tooth. It became worse as the weekend went on and by Monday I was really not feeling well. I have horizon NJ health which is the dreaded medicaid.
I have been traumatized by two previous dentists and so I was very anxious before my appointment but knew I had to see a dentist.
I called in the morning and they gave me appointment for that afternoon so that was a relief.
Once I checked in my wait was very brief and there were a few patients waiting, I was not the only one.
I was in alot of pain.
A very friendly face came in and it was true she was friendly and kind. The dentist was a young woman, forgive me I do not recall her name. Of course x-rays were taken and I have a pocket of infection. The dentist examined the area of pain, very GENTLY! Explained a few things and said I needed antibiotics and a future appointment because tooth can not be saved.
I am so happy to have found a dentist close to home that are just normal and nice and gentle.
