As a season pass holder this year it was great to take advantage of the holiday lights and the ride offerings were outstanding! The cooler weather helped keep the park less packed. Truly a treat to experience such short lines or any lines for that matter. There were several live shows that were fun too. Definitely worth the trip!

Been going to Great Adventure since I was in diapers and it's always a blast!!! PRIDE NIGHT WAS THE BEST!!! Fright Fest was fun as always!!! I just wish there were more shows like the old days when you was able to dance with Bugs Bunny and see awesome break dancers, singers and magicians but above all still hands down my favorite theme park ever!!! Especially if you love thrill rides!!! Can't wait for 2024!!!

I love this place. The rides are intense 😳 But we had a great time. We just became season pass holders and went for the Holiday in the Parks event and it was beautiful. I cant wait for them to open back up in the spring

I always wanted to ride kingdaka and it was worth every second. Jersey devil and every other single ride was awesome. This is my favorite six flags location. I strongly recommend people to make the visit here, get the flash pass and season membership.

Went there for the first time in 8 years during their holiday in the park, and it was excellent! The park was extremely well lit and the rides were running well. Loved going on Nitro and Jersey Devil. The views were beautiful and would totally come back more often.

Fright fest was very much fun. We had a great time with no lines on the rides. The park was decorated perfectly. Lots of fog and creatures around every corner. Watching people get scared of the ghouls was fun.

A fun day at six flags as part of a corporate outing! We arrived at opening and enjoyed an almost empty park - no lines - until about noon. Minimal parking and security lines to get in and out of the park, even with re-entry.

Foods options are okay. Definitely a relief after a day of running around. Lots of your classic American foods and sweets.

Pro tip: bring an empty water bottle into the park and refill it at the water fountains located throughout the park! Colder water can be filled by food courts or restaurants.

The water park is separate from the amusement park and safari park itself, so it was disappointing to see that the water rides were still not opened. Got lucky that El Toro reopened the day we were there! They didn't advertise this on the app or site but season ticket holders had early access to the reopening!

We had the a great day at the Six Flags Great Adventure Park. The family enjoyed most of the rides and the special Christmas / Holidays performances by the team. Nitro was my favourite ride (hell of a roller coaster 😃). The crowd management & car parking was taken care efficiently by the team. Food and beverage options are good but very expensive. Six Flags management should think about providing affordable options as well for the people.
It’s a great place for a family to spend a day together filled with rides and adventures.
Will come back again in summers for the water park.

My family and I went on a trip to Six Flags in New Jersey! The place has many roller coaster rides, multiple eateries, and stores to buy merchandise. The ride I enjoyed the most was Houdini’s Great Escape, which gave the thrilling illusion of movement and uncertain fear or turbulence. There were also the Devil, Nitro, Medusa, El Toro, and Skull Mountain, all of which were listed due to the popularity of the rides. All of them have twists, turns and the Devil is most reputed to have the most convoluted path for sheer excitement. I mostly enjoyed the food at the ones I went to, because the food was good there: Yum Yum Cafe, Six Flags Funnel Cake Factory, Macho Nacho, and Ale House. Another place O enjoyed there was the Cheetah exhibit at the Six Flags Zoo! Loved the live big cat performance. Nonetheless, also a remember that staying at the amusement park roughly 1-3 hours to closing will usually mean that many stores will close one hour before their own official closing hours. So get there early enough to avoid wandering in the evening with little service in the near closing hours. Stay safe and enjoy Six Flags in New Jersey!

I loved it here. I brought friends here and went on every rollercoaster here! I def recommend it here if your a big rollercoaster fan. I never had any trouble with the wait and ride. It's just that I dont like when el toro and green lantern has a lot of bumpy parts. I had big bumps on my head for a few days due to bumpy rides. I just don't like that ride. Please try to fix it if you can!

Great time of the year to go! Didn't even. RealIe it was the first day of Fright Fest. Lines weren't terribly long and got to experience so many rides. The scare staff are also very good at their jobs.

Great experience for the family during the holidays. Park was well decorated. Only a few rides were open. Workers were friendly this time around.

Go as early as possible on the weekend. The fast pass isn't worth the price. You have to ride nitro and kingdaka, hands down the best out of all the coasters

The craziest rides I've ever experienced would recommend taking the diamond pass or gold pass if possible so that we can skip the waiting.

I went to Six Flags Fright Fest with my family, and it was really scary and exciting. The haunted houses were amazing, with creepy decorations and actors who made it feel real. There were different kinds of scares, like sudden surprises and spooky psychological stuff. The park was well-organized and safe, with staff around to help. We also got to enjoy the regular rides. Overall, it was a great time for my family, and I recommend it if you like being scared and having fun!

If you love nature and animals, this place is for you. You'll get to drive through your own vehicle and watch the animals with your windows closed. The staff here were very friendly and helpful. Thank you!

Took the girls there today for the veterans weekend celebration.
I think what they do now is very nice for us veterans, free admission plus heavily discounted tickets for the day pass. Perfect day, no lines, most of the top thrill rides were operational. All in all just a wonderful day with the family.
Kudos to Great Adventure & the nice job they do for veterans...

Though a little expensive, this Six Flags caters to every age group and every thrill level. My family has a couple of thrill seekers and a couple of people who fear roller coasters for their lives and yet everyone can find something that matches their interest, with a couple of meet-in-the-middle rides like the Dark Knight and Skull Mountain. Plus the gondolas give a stellar view of the park. I’d bring food or eat outside of the park because food prices can be steep but other than that, top-tier theme park!
