Route 66 Restaurant and Pizzeria

Wildwood isn’t fully in season yet as I write this, but I decided to stop by Route 66 today out of pure curiosity to see where the boardwalk would lead me to eat. It’s my first time coming here, so I’m not sure what this place was like in the past, but it’s currently under new management. The man who served me, provided a great experience. So kind, helpful and made me feel comfortable and excited for my dining experience. Everything smelled amazing too. Very cool atmosphere. I got the fried chicken sandwich, recommended by him. I wish them the very best with their new ownership! Definitely looking forward to coming back when the season is in full effect! شكرًا لك

The food is more than amazing!!! The white pasta and brisket is so good. I eat there something new almost everyday and they never disappoint. The store is now under new management, really nice owners. Don’t miss their chicken over rice, mushroom burgers, and crispy chicken sandwiches!!

We came to Wildwood for the weekend and were looking for a good Friday night dinner spot. We found Route 66 and so glad we did! They had just opened for the season and had a limited menu but my husband and I didn’t mind at all! We both got smash burgers and fries and they were delicious! Service was great and the decor was awesome! We will definitely stop back next time we are in town!

Step into a time machine at this diner adorned with rad pics of Elvis and Marilyn Monroe. Their smash burger is straight-up heavenly, and even though the management is new, the staff are super friendly and keep the place spotless. It's like teleporting back in time for some awesome eats and chill vibes. Definitely my new favorite spot in Wildwood—I'll be coming back for sure!

We ordered Greek Gyros. It was fresh, tasty, just like in Europe. Great dish: sauce, convenient presentation. We took food to go, everything remained hot and perfectly packaged. A special impression from the cafe team: friendly, clean, polite and fast. I recommend this place. While we were waiting for our order, we sat at the bar (Dog Friendly) We wish this new place every success. We will be back!

Decided to try the brisket burger while walking the boardwalk and it was amazing. The staff is really nice and friendly too.

The waitress was very friendly and personable. They are extremely kid-friendly. My 5 year old wanted a hot dog without the meat 🤣 They made him a special cheese sandwich and allowed him to take home the bowl he had his mac and cheese.

Best chicken gyro I’ve ever had in my entire life! The sauce was amazing and it was cooked so well, the fries had seasoning on them, and they have Birch beer!! Both guys who waited on us were friendly and nice. I’m sending my husband back right now for another one because I can’t get it out of my mind how good it was!

The gyro over rice was absolutely delicious the meat was perfect and the rice was fluffy and flavorful. I also tried one of their juicy, well-crafted burgers and The service was friendly and attentive as well. Highly recommend

Went to the boardwalk fully looking for Route 66 for dinner. We had seen the menu on DoorDash the night before and the pictures of the food looked so good. As we approached, the staff was so welcoming and got us to a table. Our server, Moe was so sweet and patient. The food was delicious. Definitely would eat here again or recommend. The quality was great and everything was exactly what we wanted. Highly recommend!!!

We came here late for some pizza and we all ordered buffalo chicken pizza. Since they had none made we waited for a fresh pie and it was WELL worth the wait. The slices are huge and it was delicious. The gentleman behind the counter are very kind and hardworking! All of there other food looked and smelled amazing too. Definitely give Route 66 a try if you’re in Wildwood!

1st time eating here. Our server Soha was very pleasant and attentive. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. Our food was hot fresh and good. Good family atmosphere loved the decor and the pricing wasn’t bad. Will be back again!

Spent the weekend here in Wildwood and out of all the places Route 66 was the best restaurant my family and I tried!! Under new management, excellent customer service the food tasted fresh and yummy. Def a must try and will def be back for sure!

Don't look at the reviews from last season. This is a new place, with new owners. Route 66 had just opened and we stopped by for dinner.
Good service, vibe, fast (but not fast food), clean and stylish. My family and I will be back for the food and atmosphere that suits a summer vacation.

Stopped by for breakfast with thoughts for just something small but ended up with the best french toast, eggs, bacon, home fries and regular toast. Coffee and tea. Even got some bacon just for the dog!! Shared all with him also and he didn’t have any complaints either! Definitely would stop again!!

Absolutely amazing. We came back like 7 times in the past 4 days. They were amazing and absolutely perfect with their food. They killed it with the food and we for sure will coming back and love it here. Forever my favorite place to go now in wildwood

The breakfast menu was very unique and the food was amazing! Pleasantly surprised. The plates were well put together and delicious!

Food was absolutely amazing!! I ordered a BBQ Bacon Impala and a milkshake with my family. If I visit Wildwood again, I will definitely be coming back!

Under new management and it’s great! Love the food and the service. Not to mention the atmosphere is amazing! It was a great late night affordable place to eat. The BEST part was the Jesus music playing!!!Loved IT!
