Our quartz countertops project met all expectations from quality, aesthetics, and value. Dan (owner) and Michele (office manager) recommended a beautiful Quartz material with nice grains that carried nicely through the thickness of the edges and was impervious to our attempts to stain or burn the sample they provided. The crew also did a great job laying out the grain of the Quartz so that it flows nicely between 3 adjacent sections.

This is a small business where the owner is personally working side by side with the other craftsman, ensuring delivery of a high-quality installation while a lean operation, without a lot of idle equipment or staff, allows for competitive pricing. Our lead time may have been a couple of weeks longer than with some larger shops, but the attention to detail will be with us for years to come.

Had our countertop measured and quartz installed perfectly by Dan and Izzy. Had no issues from start with Michelle to finish with seamless installation. Great selection, fair prices and meticulous workmanship. Thanks for a beautiful kitchen!

I stopped into Take Us For Granite purely on a whim; a few days prior, I had discovered a crack in in our kitchen countertop - it literally had come out of nowhere. I didn't think that they'd be able to help, but boy, was I wrong! I figured I would walk into the showroom and be told that they don't do repair work - BUT THEY DO! Dan showed up the very next day and explained that what I was looking at wasn't a crack, but a fissure. Apparently this is a common occurrence. I was thoroughly educated by Dan, and took away some great information - all while he did the repair right in front of me. *Note: you CAN put hot stuff on granite...but don't leave a crock pot on there for hours on end - that's what caused our issue! Dan repaired the fissure in about twenty minutes time, and the price was MORE than fair. Honestly, a repair kit and my own frustration of trying to do it myself (probably poorly) would've cost more. Now, instead of looking like a crack in the stone, it looks like a naturally occurring nuance - which is par for the course with this type of repair work. I was so pleased that I definitely see myself going back to T.U.F.G. when I'm ready to tackle a granite project - or just a repair! Thank you Dan & Michelle for making this such a prompt, pleasurable, experience!

It was my moms first time designing and planning a new kitchen. Dan was so much help and gave great advice to make our kitchen look amazing. He explained the different types of countertops and gave recommendations based off of what we had in mind. Dan and his crew stayed in touch and always answered any questions we had. I searched for a granite company that could match my existing granite. When I called Take us for Granite I spoke with Dan, he told me he was pretty sure he had the match and told me to send him a picture. He called me back, said he had it but for me to go to the granite yard and look at it. From my first visit there to my finished product I couldn’t have been more pleased.
I spoke often with Michelle who arranged appointments for measuring, etc.I also had a special edge on my existing granite that had to be matched, Dan assured me that before my piece was cut he would have his guys do a sample edge for me.Bingo! The edge was great! From Michelle in the office, to Dan, the owner, to Oscar the measurer, installer and to Carlos who did my edging & installing I couldn’t be happier. I can’t say enough how happy we were working with Dan & Michelle from Take Us For Granite. Due to some unkniwn water damage we were forced to have our kitchen replaced. We had issues getting our cabinets, but Dan & Michelle were so kind, patient & helpful with our quartz countertops. Oscar did a great job with the templates. Fits like a glove ! When we finally had our cabinets, they had the counters installed within the week. I am beyond pleased to walk into my new kitchen each morning and see my beautiful quartz counters !! I wish every vendor could be like Take Us For Granite !! ❤

Dan was so great to work with! He and his guys came in and did what they had to, super professional and would recommend his company to anyone in the area!!! When it comes to home improvements and the selection of contractors, there is a lot of competition out there. But if you are in pursuit of a countertop, look no further. We did our research and met with several contractors, but Dan, the owner of Take Us For Granite, clearly outshines the others. Not only did we find Dan to be a great person/family man, he was the only one who confidently reassured us that the decorative molding that was mounted under our existing countertop would not be destroyed in the demolition process, and it wasn't. All the others told us to be prepared for damage. We also found his pricing to be very fair. This was also a factor that dictated our decision.

I would be seriously remiss if I did not mention Dan's amazing staff. Our first point of contact at the Take Us For Granite office in Forked River was Michele who manages the office while Dan is out in the field templating and installing. She is a gem! Her kind, professional demeanor gave us a great first and ultimately lasting impression. Dan's installation team was incredible too! I was witness to their cohesive relationship with Dan as they all worked together to put the beautifully crafted pieces of granite together, just like a puzzle. Our granite countertops are gorgeous! The photos that I have attached do not even reveal the true beauty of the workmanship we now own. To really appreciate them is to see them in person. Reviews are important because they speak to real life experience. I hope this is helpful when you are considering countertops. You won't be disappointed!

Let me start off by saying before I went into Take us for granite I stopped at 2 other places and both were very rude and nasty. When I went into Take us for Granite I was greeted with kindness, helpfulness and patience. Michelle was so nice and answered all my questions. Dan was awesome and helpful. The work was outstanding far better than expected. All were very professional. It looks awesome. Great company would definitely recommend all around.
