Zale Funeral home is the most squared away full service funeral home that I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with.

The person who assisted my family was Amanda Fenard. Amanda exudes compassion, as well as everyone employee of Zale.

It’s not an easy task for anyone who loses a loved one to sit down the next day and try to put together the logistics of an entire funeral. Amanda was able to explain the entire process effectively while exhibiting possibly the most soothing voice in all of South Jersey.

The kindness, compassion and patience of Zale was also well observed on the night of the viewing. It appeared as though everyone my mother had touched one way or another had made the journey to attend. Needless to say, this extended the night for all of the Zale employees assisting. my family and they all did so with a warm smile.

Zale's Funeral Home provided an excellent service for my fathers funeral. Everything from the way my father was presented for the viewing, to the closing prayer at the cemetery, went off flawlessly.

The staff is friendly and courteous. Sean Zale took the time to answer my questions and provided me with various options available for the service. I never felt rushed. He really took the time to get to know me a little with some small talk along the way. That helped put me at ease instead of just thinking about the heartache of my dad's passing.

It's nice that the Zale family is still running the funeral home. I have gone to many services there over the years. They keep the 1st class tradition going that Eugene Zale started in the beginning.

I cannot say enough good things about this funeral home.. I worked with Sean, the funeral home director & Chandler the intern. Not only were they easy to work with but they had my back every step of the way. My dear father passed away at 1am and they got to my home so quickly after responding to my phone call immediately at that hour. We had to drive out of state for the service and it was pouring rain at the graveside service. Sean never left my side. I felt like I had known him forever. After my Mother passed away, I was faced with having to plan her funeral on my own. Amanda is the woman who helped me plan the funeral and I have to say she truly makes you feel welcome and doesn't make you feel like just another person utilizing their establishment. She was beyond helpful with everything I needed and was willing to accommodate as well. The owner, Ron, is such a caring and warm hearted man and truly helped me in my time of need. My Cousin passed away on Good Friday this year. Because of the Pandemic his Wife had a hard time finding someone to cremate him. She called multiple places close to home(The Bronx) and no one was available to take care of him. She happened upon Zale Funeral Home and they were available to assist. This was after finding one Funeral Home that said they would do it but then kept giving her the run around on when it would get done. The Funeral Director with Zale saved her from this situation. He agreed to take over the process and was a godsend to her. He gave her updates on a daily basis through the whole process. He was kind and understanding through this difficult time. And when we went to pick up his ashes he was genuine and sympathetic and treated us like a Family member. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Thank you for everything and bless you!

A million thank yous to Bob and Gianna. My brother and I reached out to Zale after the sudden passing of our estranged father. Regardless of the situation containing some complications with family members, both Bob and Gianna guided my brother and I through this process with nothing but pure grace, patience, and understanding. We have gone to Zale’s in Stratford for years for our entire family. When my mom died last week, they had to get her from another state, find us a church as the old one closed, and many more details, which they handled beautifully, as always. I feel safe with them and I know everything will go smoothly. Having known Ron for years, I was happy to note that the next generation is going to be an asset to this company as well. Sean was amazing— talking to me at 3 am the night my mom died, helping find clothes when hers could not be found at home, etc etc. he was terrific. The new fleet of cars is wonderful, too, and the limo driver was awesome. They even found us a fabulous luncheon restaurant which was perfect. Thank you, Sean and Ron, for making a difficult event go so well.

We needed immediate help moving a loved one across state lines via air travel. Zale Funeral home was very kind and considerate to us. I am very grateful for their prompt and caring service.
