Knott's Colonial Funeral Home

My family used Knott's this week for my grandmother's funeral and about a decade ago for my grandfather. We were very pleased with their services both times. Bob is very down-to-earth. He helps you figure out exactly what you need without trying to upsell you other things. He offers good practical advice to help you make decisions. Pricing is very upfront and clear. My grandmother was prepared beautifully for the viewing. They also seem to know the ins and outs of the local churches and cemetaries, so that made it very easy. Everybody we dealt with seem very professional and things went very smoothly from the viewing, to the ride to the church, to the interment. I would definitely recommend based on my experience.

The Weiss family and the Knott family have a legacy that extends over 60 years. I can remember Robert's grandmother Adeline Knott directing my grandfather's funeral when I was a young boy. Over the years Robert has handled the arrangements for 7 of our closest family members and has always done an impeccable job. His compassion and attention to detail are beyond reproach and he never attempted to take advantage of a very emotional situation. Robert Knott is a very caring and honest man and will always be my first choice to help me during these most difficult of times.

We are very pleased with the service Mr. Knott and the guys has provided us. They were very attentive, very nice and friendly! They made the whole experience smooth and easy and have answered all of our questions and concerns that our family’s friend had (I was there as a translator and supporter for our friend who lost her husband). Great respect of this guy again it's only 2 of them but he is very good and staff is very very good if you ever need him you know where he's at on South Broad Street across street from Colonial Cemetery one of the best funeral parlors well taken care of these grounds last people you would love them because we know our family did too so good luck in the future and Bobby Knott excellent work and thanks again God bless you Merry Christmas

My experience with Knott's was sad and awful. From the owner not really caring about us or my mom, after we have used his business for generations, to no one being inside during the entire viewing. We had to ask to have music played, we had to ask for toilet paper (which the owner said one of my family members stole :/ this was before covid). I had to give directions to the limo driver twice to get to the funeral home on time. The owner's excuse was the driver was "old and not with it", he wasn't old. But the worst was the rush job they did on my mom. She looked nothing like herself. I can't go into details its too upsetting but there was no reason for it. I had to ask if everyone could put a flower on the casket before we left the cemetery (we had a ton and they wouldn't let us take them). They just wanted to get it over with I felt. Go somewhere else.
