Marcello's Coal Fired Restaurant & Pizza

Really enjoyed my dinner and time here. Went during happy hour. Very busy around the bar but not crowded at the tables. Tables are white table cloth, but the food prices are not typically of white table cloth restaurants; more reasonable! Manuel at the bar was very busy but that did not stop him from engaging everyone. And he makes excellent drinks. And on his suggestion I had Lobster Ravioli Mimosa, which was fabulous!

Beautiful location with a very friendly team of employees. My friends brought me there for lunch and raved about their cocktails and pizza. Marcello’s did not disappoint! We got the Winter Pine Gin and Tonic which was fabulous. So refreshing and delicious. Their pizzas are fantastic as well. I tried and absolutely loved the Hot Honey pizza. One hundred percent will be returning and trying out the rest of their menu. Would recommend stopping by if you are in the area.

Now for my standard comments as of December 2023. The restaurant is very clean and seating is well distanced. Very comfortable sitting indoors but I believe they also have outdoor seating when the weather is nice. I heard their high windows come up to allow fresh air when it’s nice out!

Came here for the first time for a family member's birthday, and I have to say, Marcello's was amazing. This restaurant was able to accommodate my table of 9. Mind you, I requested a reservation on the same day so they are able to handle large groups. This is a vegetarian friendly restaurant, and the number of options is endless. The cocktail drinks are just okay, but the food was amazing. I love the atmosphere and would come back casually. Highly recommend coming here. 5/5!

Our server Emma was wonderful. The food was delicious, as always. It can become pretty crowded so I would definitely make a reservation. It can become pretty loud if you’re looking for a quiet dinner. But the food and drinks are always top tier. Highly recommend.

Marcello's Coal Fired Restaurant & Pizza - What's not to like?! Food, drinks, apps and service are great!! The penne vodka, the hurricane drink, and the fried Calamari 👌🏼 😋. Ethan was our amazing Cameriere. He handled our table of 20 like a pro! He's amazing and has true enthusiasm with his excellent service. Thanks Ethan!

The risotto special was amazing! Perfect consistency, which can be hard to achieve with risotto. Christina was our server. She took great care of us, answered our questions, and offered drink and food suggestions. Great ambience here with the lighting and decor.

Our family of 13 celebrated a birthday at Marcello's last night. Everything was delicious, I had the Mimosa Lobster Ravioli and it was absolutely amazing, everyone was happy with their selections. A celiac in our group praised his personal pizza, said it was the best he ever had. Drinks were made expertly, and our server Ethan was efficient, attentive without being overly so, and perfect in every way. We highly recommend Marcello's!

My husband and I have dinner at Marcellos almost every week. The food is always delicious, the cocktails are creative and tasty and the atmosphere is wonderful. Service is also top notch! The waitstaff are always going above and beyond.

This was a last-minute local google search, and we struck gold. We had the Brooklyn pie, mac and cheese, and fried calamari. The pizza was one of the best I've had. Thin, well done with a great sauce. Now we are planning to take the hour trip with some family to dine again.

This place stands out on one of the busiest streets filled with restaurants, this is the one you need to try. They’re cocktails are absolutely gorgeous and constantly changing every season, in my opinion, the bees knees was my absolute favorite, you have to get it with the little caviar on top!

They are known for their Pizza and their flatbreads and it’s easy to see why, but I actually enjoyed trying the wings this time they had honey Sriracha, and I absolutely love the flavor! I also tried the cheesy garlic bread, which was a total cheese pull! And you can share this with a few people, because it is amazing, almost like a gigantic calzone, smothered with garlic butter, and filled with cheese!

I also enjoyed the lobster ravioli and a champagne, cream sauce, with real, not fake crab meat, and little chunks of lobster. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu, but I am determined to try the whole thing!

Marcello’s…. PHENOMENAL the white sangria? A MUST! The pizza? YES! The mf al vodka pasta IS TO DIEEEEE FOR. I loved this spot to go with my family and in laws. A nicer restaurant to dress up and go to. One bad thing is the parking is really hard to come by in Bordentown of course.

We had such an amazing experience at Marcello’s! The vibe is incredible for a lovely date night. Our food was insane and I can’t wait to get back to keep trying more of the menu. Our server Emma was so attentive and sweet. She was the cherry on top of a fabulous evening! We will certainly be regulars at Marcello’s.

Had dinner here last night with a large group. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the food is incredible. I had the mimosa lobster ravioli and dark side of the moon cake. The sauce on the ravioli was so good I asked for bread so I could savor last bite of it. The dark side of the moon cake was so soft and savory. But the highlight of the night was our waitress, Emma. This lady was on top of everything… she recommended a smoked old fashioned, that smelled and tasted like heaven; was extremely attentive to every one of our requests; was prompt and engaging, and so sweet. The food and drinks alone are reason to return to this restaurant, but Emma definitely made this dinner a full experience.

The drinks I got were the P- Star Margarita and Coquito drink they were both so good! For food I had the chicken Parmesan sandwich which was very tastey.

Came here for a birthday lunch and had eaten as our server. Food was phenomenal, and eat in service was exceptional. Beautiful restaurant with a lovely atmosphere and excellent service. Can't wait to come back again.

Met my cousin for lunch at Marcello’s and this place did not disappoint! We had never been here before but as soon as we were seated I knew we made the right choice. The decor is so charming and the beautiful ornate chandelier was stunning! It was so bright with the windows and greenery outside was so pretty. I felt like I was in NYC. I had the chicken parm sandwich on homemade bread which was excellent! Our server Nancy was the best! She was so sweet and very attentive. She even sent me home with a “care package” as I had a slight hangover from the night before!! I will definitely be back!!

Michael Powell is an amazing waiter, very attentive to every detail even came outside to offer me a drink while I was smoking a cigar . food was outstanding homemade pasta. The drinks are off the top shelf great bartenders

Had a great experience stopping here for dinner. The staff was delightful, and kind. The food and drinks were delicious. I will definitely come back next time I am in the area.

Michael was extremely attentive and kind. He was patient with our party when we took forever to make up our minds! The food was wonderful. Our whole experience was great!
