My son waited a long time before committing to getting his first tattoo. We read great reviews on the shop so we decided to stop in for a consult. Josh was amazing! He took his time going over sketches off a rough drawing of what my son was thinking of getting and was meticulous in perfecting it to get it just right for him.
The outcome was so much better than what he invisioned. Josh did an incredible job. The studio was clean, neat and all the artists were very kind and professional. If your looking to get a tattoo done , GO HERE!!! I can’t thank Josh enough for making the experience so special for us.

My child had their first ear piercing with Sean. He was patient, kind and very knowledgeable. The establishment was very clean and well organized. I would recommend this shop to any first timers.

Beautiful hike with gorgeous mountain Laurel. We were there in the middle of the day so there were mosquitoes. Also be prepared for ticks this time of year. A must see hidden jewel.

I have gotten numerous ear piercings from skin illustrations. Sean is great, he is very clean, professional and knowledgeable . I have also been tattooed by Dave who is just as great! Would highly recommend for all of your tattoo and piercing needs! (:

If I could give 10/5 stars I would in a heartbeat. About two weeks ago I went in for a double nose piercing and Shawn was spectacular. He took so much time measuring the placements and had absolute no issues with moving one to my liking. My blood sugar tends to drop whenever I get piercings so I let him know ahead of time and he made sure I was fine the whole time. He even made sure I stayed in the chair and gave me an ice pack to put on the back of my neck just to double check I was okay and wouldn’t pass out, even though I was feeling great. This was the third time I’ve gotten one side of my nose done and it was the least painful experience of the three. Shawn is a wonderful professional and I’m super excited to start working on getting my much wanted ear piercings next.

I got my septum, nose, and nips done here and I am absolutely in love with all of them. Shawn is the piercer when I got them done and he is absolutely amazing at his job!! He made me feel so comfortable and gave me all the information and tips I needed to make the healing process easier. Whenever I had questions about my piercings or jewelry he was always quick with his responses and never left room for confusion. All of my piercings are even/symmetrical and they all healed beautifully. I don’t believe I could’ve gone to a better place. If you are looking for any piercing this is the place to go!! Will always be my #1 choice.

I had gotten a helix piercing at another piercer who then left the studio and I wanted to get it checked to make sure it was healing correctly. I had heard about Skin Illustrations from a friend so I thought I’d check it out. Shawn was amazing and took me right back and checked my piercing out and also downsized it. Definitely going back!

Giving credit where credit is due! I got my nose pierced almost 2 months ago now and I couldn’t be happier. I randomly called one day and was able to get in within 20 minutes. Shawn was not only very nice and professional, he was also educational. I made him aware I had a previous negative experience elsewhere and he made sure I knew the cleaning protocol and what to do in case I developed a bump. Even when I ended up developing a bump (completely my fault) he was quick with a response on what I could do to get rid of it. Definitely recommend going to him for your piercings!

I got my naval piercing re-done here, just recently, it had closed & I really wasn't happy with it to begin with. But when I went to Skin Illustrations, before even agreeing to re pierce me, they checked to make sure that it could be done and done safely. (Which I liked, very important to me.) They were very professional, very accommodating, and no pain whatsoever! I am very happy with my results, definitely going back there again for some more piercings when I'm ready!

I went to Skin Illustrations to get a second ear piercing. My original piercings were all kinds of messed up. The right one was significantly higher than my left, so the placement of the second hole in both ears required a lot of thought to make everything look symmetrical. Shawn was amazing and took the time to make sure everything looked just right! I felt he was very honest in his opinion and was looking out for my best interest. Now you can’t even tell there was an original issue. Not only were the people there friendly and helpful, the shop was clean and all equipment and jewelry sterilized in front of me. I highly recommend Skin Illustrations for any type of piercing. Ask for Shawn.

I had my septum pierced here months ago and it was such a quick, easy, and painless expirience. The shop also has taken great measures to be safe during COVID- the door is locked until you call and have your temp taken and logged. I really appreciate that!

I also just stopped by today, because the ball on my piercing had unscrewed at some point earlier in the day and i couldnt find it. They were SUPER helpful amd got me fixed right up!

I had my left daith pierced by Shawn and the entire experience was wonderful! He was very helpful and kind in his explanations and made sure I was comfortable before during and after the piercing. I will definitely be back!

Went to get a piece from the talented Stampy and was extremely happy with it. Environment is clean, TVs in every room and most importantly a super friendly, humorous and happy group of great artists which is sometimes hard to find in a shop. One visit has made them my new place to go anytime I need more ink and I've been frequenting tattoo shops for over 20 years now. That should tell you something about how much of a great impression they left on me.

It is a very clean establishment. The people are friendly, and their work is second to none. Eric backlund is the gentleman doing my tattoo, he is absolutely amazing, the realisticness of the piece that he is doing for me is incredible. I will post the finished piece when it is done.

I got in right away Josh did my tattoo . I love it I been getting comments on how good it looks...and recently nose piercing great service pleasant ppl looking forward getting my new tattoo soon.

Josh was awesome and accommodated me and my sisters on short notice. I appreciate that they make room for walk-ins. Very friendly and easy to work with. Highly recommend and I hope to be back in the future.
