I'll try to keep this short n sweet. Had to change vets for several reasons. I'm not going to name them bc this isn't about them. Our neighbor referred us to MLVH. Our 13yo boxer baby boy Tyson had us concerned by some recent behaviors but he also was due for a vet check.
(side note: at this point more than a month had passed since the concerning health issue bc when I called our original vet since 2017 on May 29th- made appt for June 26th<------ INSANE!!!) Well that turned into it's own dumpster fire. Aired my frustration to my neighbors who, in turn, recommended Doc Grant!!! WE ARE SO SOOOOOOO GRATEFUL 🙏 🥲 🙂 😊 to them!!! Doc Grant is exceptional!!! The team of ladies that work there are just the best!!! Our boy is our everything 💙! We've had him since 7 weeks old and typically boxers don't get much time to let us love on them 💙 😢. Doc Grant raved about his health and overall appearance. Made us so so happy. I know he won't be around forever but we will continue to live each day like it could be his last day. Thank you Doc Grant and his wonderful caring team!!! We've found our new baby doc!!!

I cannot imagine trusting anyone else with my little boxer, Thyra. Dr. Delorenzo is the only one I trust to have Thyra’s best interest and health in her hands. She does not just try to rack up my bill with numerous tests and medicine, but find affordable ways in which to test and treat my Thyras health issues. And she always gets better. We won’t take our pets anywhere else !! We are so thankful for Dr Grant !! Recently we came home and found our 11yr old Siamese cat Arthur paralyzed in his back end and crying 😢 and we had no idea what could have happened.
We immediately called Mayslanding Vet and told them what was going on and they said to come in immediately , we thought we were going to have to put Arthur down 😭
When we got there they took us right into a room , the vet techs were amazing and so caring and gentle , when Dr Grant came in he immediately greeted Arthur and asked us what was going on , we explained how we came home to him crying and unable to walk or stand .
Dr Grant looked Arthur over and explained to us he had a blood clot in his spine .
It turns out Arthur also has HCM (heart disease) and that a blood clot had left his heart and lodged in his middle spine paralyzing his back legs 🥺😭 Dr Grant saved Arthur’s life , he said he wanted to try several medications and see if they would help , within a week Arthur was up and walking , slowly and cautiously at first and now he’s running around like a kitten again , playing with his brothers and sisters and going nuts with his toys 😄

You’d be hard pressed to find a more thorough, not only Veterinarian in Dr. DeLorenzo but the entire staff as well. They are all caring, compassionate, thorough, concerned and knowledgeable. They take time to explain everything in detail and put you at ease, no matter the situation. They go the extra mile for their patients as well as the owners. They have seen me through some very difficult times and the follow up is stellar to say the least. Thank you MLVH for being as amazing as you all are.

I go back year after year. It's a journey coming from Manhattan, but I'd follow Dr. DeLorenzo to the ends of the earth. She's that good. Caring, concerned, compassionate and takes the time to answer whatever questions I have (and there's alot of questions), she genuinely loves what she does, sets my mind at ease, and it shows. Wonderful practice all the way around.

My family has had the pleasure of having Dr DeLorenzo as the veterinarian for our dog for over 17 years. Why is she amazing? She walks into the room and doesn’t look at you first, she greets her patients and makes sure they know she is happy to see them. She is kind to the animals and genuinely cares for them. She does not recommend services that aren’t needed and wants to make sure you can afford a treatment plan that is right for your pet.

The hospitals prices are more than reasonable and while staff has changed over the years everyone there cares for your pets well being. We have met new staff there recently and while they may not know the ins and outs of the office they really do love animals.

Bottom line is if you’re looking for a vet who loves your pet as much as you do and doesn’t look at you as only how much they squeeze out of you then this is the place to bring your pets.

Although my initial review was of a less pleasant experience, they have definitely made up for it with my most recent visit. The doctor was very understanding and receptive to my pet's needs and my concerns and was more flexible with his treatment than other practices allow. Their prices are very reasonable and the staff was perfect! Happy to have them as an alternative for my pets medical care, as they are conveniently located in close proximity to my house. Would definitely recommend them and be happy to visit again!

Whenever an issue comes up with my dog they always have a well thought out plan of attack. They are very kind and compassionate towards my dog whenever I come which I appreciate.

Mays Landing vet is absolutely amazing! Dr.Delorenzo and her staff are so caring and helpful. They have gone above and beyond for my 16 year-old cocker spaniel. I am beyond grateful for their kindness, knowledge and care of my baby.

Some of the best veterinary care I've ever experienced. They care about your pet as if they were their your own. They also tend to the pet parents needs as well. I was incredibly impressed with being a new patient at the practice how they cared for my pet as if they've known him forever. Also in my pet was sick they made room and their schedule to see my pet since he was incredibly ill and just said the ER the night before. I could not ask for any more from the vets or the staff.

Took my 8 week pup here. The prices are reasonable. Staff is super friendly and helpful. I was running late, they were pretty nice about it. The wait was less than 10 min. Dr DiLorenzo is so sweet. 10/10 recommend.

Was referred to them by a co-worker. I had an old vet for my older boy dog but was not happy with them anymore so when it was time for the new addition of the family to go to the vet I asked around for options from friends and co-workers. So happy I was referred to them and chose mays landing veterinary. Friendly office staff and veterinary doctors. We are so happy we found our forever vet for our baby girl and old man.

1st time there, but the staff was helpful, caring Dr. that listened & took care of my Cat, had a good feeling when I left that I made the right choice.

Best Vet ever Dr D was very empathetic and you could tell she was actually listening to you. My Molly is not social with other Dogs and they helped with that as well making sure that she wasn't exposed face to face with other clients. I also felt as though I can continue with their services with being on a fixed income Molly doesn't have to forgo her health because of outrageous cost, Mays Landing Vet Hospital is reasonable compared to other Vets in the area

Dr Scott and Dr Grant and their team are excellent, honest, kind, and compassionate. We switched from Shore Vets after bad experiences of wait times, over-pricing, and rough handling of our little one. We don't regret it one bit! If you're looking for a personable vet who is in the business of helping animals, and not expanding their empire, this vet office is for you!

Mays Landing Vet by far has given my cat the best care possible. All staff are friendly and welcoming, and I was given an update through the exam. Covid has created lots of restrictions, and Mays landing vet gave me the reassurance I needed while I couldn't be with my cat. They treat thier patients like they are part of the family. I have a cat that has some anxiety and he was his normal purring happy self after his visit.

Brought my Miles for his first check up today/shots and very pleased with the experience! Very nice staff, doctor is great and very thorough. Even clipped his nails for me! This will be my cat’s veterinarian for life :-)
