REI

I went today for the first time with my boyfriend. We both became members and we cannot wait to begin our hiking journeys! Robert, Christopher, Lucas and a few other workers were incredibly helpful! Robert was great with explaining the store, and he told us the top 10 things to be prepared for what hiking! He directed us over to Lucas in the shoe department and we got incredibly comfortable boots. Chris helped us fit our hiking backpacks and had some helpful tips with water and food during the hike. These people truly want the best for their customers. They even have a wall of customers who have taken photos from their adventures! I'm so happy to be apart of this family.

REI is one of those stores you can spend hours in, at least for me. They have a fantastic assortment of high-quality products for all of your outdoor pursuits, knowledgeable and friendly staff waiting to offer their help and share their firsthand knowledge, a fantastic bike repair shop and a variety of classes and events to help you get outside (in comfort and style). Membership is optional but the yearly dividends are awesome if you do join, and there are other perks, as well.

Yesterday I came in for the first time and left a new customer. I don't think there are enough words to convey the kind of help and guidance we received. Robert took care of us and we couldn't be any happier. Sure most employees probably know the general products but Robert had passion, knowledge and genuine interest in what we needed. He literally sold us on the store and the company. We signed up and can't wait to keep planning our adventure.

The rechargeable Cygolite Dash 520 and the Hotshot micro allow me to feel more comfortable riding my bicycle.
The blinking light is noticeable on the front and on the back of the bike.

Great service! Older gentleman named Bob was so incredibly helpful! Helped me twice with two different products, must’ve recognized my deer in headlights look. Was very informative and knew the product details very well. If it wasn’t for him I would probably still be standing in the store reading product reviews. Bob deserves a raise!!

Very friendly staff. We had two wonderful gentlemen help us this evening, but Kevin really went out of his way. My husband and I were looking at hammocks, and Kevin told us that he saw some marked down on clearance for a fraction of the price last week. He volunteered to check the back for us and brought us out the last one they had left! We didn't ask about a sale or clearance pricing at all, but he respected our time and our finances enough to tell us about the clearance hammock. Truly exceptional customer service.

Love my kayak! Be sure to bring assistance and straps if you plan to purchase and haul a kayak. The store workers are not insured to assist a buyer with ensuring safe strapping to a vehicle.

I had an extremely pleasant experience both dropping off and picking up my skis and bindings that I had mounted. The staff went above and beyond to get my skis in spec when the boots were found to be slightly incompatible with the bindings. They tested, and adjusted the specs until they deemed the boots and bindings to be functional and safe. I will be returning here for all my ski related inquires and services, thanks Matt and Rick!

Great selection and super organized! That said, the employees walking the store are super overly helpful. My husband and I researched some travel backpacks and came to the store to actually put our hands on it. My husband is very knowledgeable when it comes to any type of gear but was repeatedly interrupted by an overly eager employee who must have came up to us 5 times asking if we are STILL OK? there is a find line between being helpful and being overbearing and it was definitely crossed.

The staff is always so helpful and friendly and of course you can't beat their return policy! This is the best REI in the area, everyone is local and long time committed to their model. Good stuff!

The service here is fantastic! We were greeted multiple times and always with a friendly demeanor. Brett was especially helpful in making sure we were taken care of. I scored an awesome deal on one of their used cargo boxes and both Brett & Bob helped me get it outside & onto my car.
This location is sure to provide you with a pleasant experience.

Rei is the best ran store imo at least the one in Marlton/Voorhees. I came in to buy a kite for my son and I to fly because Charles loved the cheap plastic one we got. Even though it was cheap we still had a ball on easter, problem was I had to do a lot of running just to keep the kite aflying. Any how I go in there and was instantly sidetracted looking at the hiking shoes and this splendid elderly woman approached me and asked what I was looking for and I said I do roofing and gutters and I would like to find a more durable and lasting shoe. I picked one the size fit but wasn't great and they didn't have the next size up but the shoe was still really comfortable just slightly annoying. She wasn't having it she said listen I don't think it fits you, don't buy it?!? I was like say what your not trying to sell me kudos 👏 👌 🙌. Anyways we went through a couple more shoes and I fell in love with the ankle shoe style of the original boot that they didn't have my size in. I proceeded to order the original boot in the right size and buy the other pair I fell in love with. Then I said hey I saw you guys have kites here and she's like no we don't. I said dang that's why I came here it showed it online lol. She's said wait let me check low and behold we do. We'll the saying goes you learn something every day she said. Then I go grab a kite see some nice sunglasses and ran over to check them out grabbed a pair then at the register I felt so great and finally realized how great shopping therapy really is. Then I looked over and saw some nice clothes but then I got this weird feeling no ones in the store and I am surrounded by employees so I asked what time does the store close? 20 minutes ago we all bust out laughing. Moral of the story I love Rei

Great service at the bike shop.. the blond lady is extremely helpful and she does her job very well.

Great store and great staff. They are always super helpful and helped me prepare for my backpacking trip in The Grand Canyon. They made a couple of suggestions for me on rain gear which will be crucial for my trip if I encounter rain. They also helped me identify a sleeping bag better for me since I sleep on my side and stomach, which I did not even think of. A mummy bag will go with you vs. a rectangle bag, and this will help make my trip more comfortable when I go to sleep so I can get a good night's rest after some long hiking.

Then they also put up with a ridiculous amount of returns I had since I bought a whole bunch of items online to make sure I would catch all the deals during their annual sale before they sold out in a couple of different sizes because I can either go XL or L in specific clothing articles. They helped bring all my items to the dressing room so I could confirm they fit and exchange anything that was not going to work/return.

I would highly recommend REI and this location.

Great customer service, the employees are knowledgeable on their product and will walk you around the store to show you all their cool useful items! All employees were friendly, they give you information on how you can save money with your first purchase and so on! I highly recommend shopping here and I’ll be back again! Clothing is great quality, pricing is high but fair for the quality. You can also sell your item back if you aren’t satisfied with it within a year. I see lots of people feel like they were “harassed” I just feel like that’s a little harsh to say, they just want to help out in the best way possible, they were telling me things I didn’t even know and was so happy to learn about! But everyone’s different 😊

The staff is friendly and informative. They also have a decent selection of plus size in women's apparel. There is no special section. Instead, if something is available in a plus size it is merchandised with the straight sizes.

Went to get hiking shoes today. The associate was very knowledgeable and helpful. He showed me not only what I asked for, but also alternatives to consider that may work better for my situation. I walked away happy with my visit and my purchase. Definitely a great experience.

The only REI I buy from in the area. The store is well organized and stocked with the best items. They have quality staff, who are always willing to help and answer any questions. I recently had an issue with a gift card being “locked” when trying to make a purchase. The associate called corporate and resolved the issue in minutes for me. I could not have asked for better service!

Excellent selection for multiple sports and activities. Sometimes you have to wait a few minutes for an associate that's really knowledgeable about the product you want to buy, but I've always felt like it's worth it.

I bought binoculars online at a great sale price, shipped to the Marlton, NJ store. The staff was friendly & quick to greet & help customers.In October, I bought a pair of NB shoes in a color I haven't seen elsewhere. The $20 membership is well worth the cost. Some pricey items but many great deals. Happy customer.
