Dr. Vaino made a painful situation peaceful and soothing while talking us through the process. Our beautiful boy was comfortable and safe at home surrounded by love and light while she thanked him and praised him for his hard and loyal work. We were given the safe space to grieve honestly and openly as we said goodbye. I cannot recommend or praise her enough. Thank you.

Our family cannot thank Dr. Vaino enough for the care and compassion she showed our beloved Benny.

She put our boy at ease and he was able to pass in his favorite place - his bed.

My name is Christina Schaefer. Our yellow lab had a tumor on his spine. He rapidly went down hill. I contacted Dr Vaino on Monday and was able to set up an appointment for Thursday. She kept me up to date on an exact time the morning of. I feel her price is extremely reasonable compared to going to a vet. I was so nervous because this was my first dog and I never had to go through this. She explained everything and assured me I was doing the right thing for my dog. He crossed the rainbow bridge so peaceful in his own house and own bed.

Dr. Vaino was compassionate during my sadness of letting go of my fur baby Teena. She was extremely informative of what she was administering to my fur baby , she walked me through everything while I held her and said goodbye . What a great service to be done in my home in my fur babies environment she passed peacefully and quickly with such grace. I’m truly grateful for Dr. Vainos service from Doorway to Heaven.

Dr Vaino was amazing. Such a difficult experience to go thru and somehow she made us feel at ease! Our old man was in his favorite place in the world for his last moments, Home! Personally, I loved the texting for appointment setup and info, because there was No Way I could verbally go about it without breaking down. No words can Thank Dr Vaino enough.

My parents had put their dog to sleep today. They didn't want to have to take their vet unwell dog out and add more stress. Dr. Vaina was very kind and patient. My parents are very grateful that they didn't have to add stress to their dog and that she was able take her final nap while at home. They got appreciate the service and care that Dr. Vaina provided.

Dr.Vaino was a blessing. She was professional and compassionate when it was time for our elderly pup to cross the rainbow bridge. He was a shy and blind boy but her gentle touch helped put him at ease. Her kindness made a very difficult experience easier on our family. Dr.Vaino was wonderful, she allowed our sweet Luna to pass comfortably in her own home, in her favorite spot on the couch, surrounded by her family. It made the unbearable a little less so for us, and I know it was the best thing we could do for our girl.

I am so happy with the decision to use Dr. Vaino’s services for my dog, Cohen, who was 18 years old. She helped him transition from being a beloved, handsome dog here on Earth to becoming the angel I knew he’d get to be. Once dialing her number, a voice message lets you know you’ll receive a text message and all scheduling/quoting was done via text. I thought this was a very intelligent way of communicating because, at the time I was making the call, audible words felt impossible. As much as I’d wished to have an exact time of arrival, I now completely understand the need for a two hour arrival window. Dr. Vaino takes her time, explains the process, and allowed me to take the time I needed as I said goodbye to Cohen. I imagine she does the same for all her clients which is why an exact arrival time may not be feasible. I am grateful for you, Dr. Vaino for releasing Cohen from his achey body and freeing his soul & spirit. ♥🌈🐾

There are no words that can truly express how kind and caring Dr. Vaino is during such a heartbreaking time. Myself, my husband, and boys were a total mess crying. Her words, her kindness, her gentle spirit just made the whole process a little more bearable. Dozer, our Great Dane meant the world to us, and the fact that he left this world in his favorite bed with his head on my lap was peaceful. The biggest thing I never realized I would feel was guilt. But after I said that to Dr. Vaino, she said to me, " Have no guilt. Guilt is when you are doing something wrong. You are not doing anything wrong." Those words meant everything to me. Our entire family is so grateful to Dr. Vaino for her help in providing a peaceful transition for our precious girl, Luna (14-year old lab mix). It was such an emotional time, having to say goodbye to this beloved member of our family. After scheduling the visit with Dr. Vaino, our adult children were able to travel home as we all put our jobs and everything else on hold. We were able to spend the last few days with our Luna , thanking her and letting her know how much she was loved. When Dr. Vaino arrived, Luna had just fallen into a peaceful sleep, surrounded by her loving human pack. She clearly knew it was her time. Dr. Vaino showed compassion, reassurance and support as she explained the process. She stroked and thanked Luna before administering the shots. Our Luna didn’t seem to feel anything as she peacefully drifted away. We are heartbroken but feel comfort in knowing that this was the kindest way for her to leave this planet. We regret that we did not think to offer this for our last girl, Sadie, who suffered needlessly at the end. With Luna, there are no regrets. Thank you, Dr. Vaino.

They were very accommodating and also helped guide us to the after process we chose. The professional communication was definitely there at all times. Would absolutely recommend the services to those who truly understand the condition of their pet as the best option.

I had Mitzie May for 18 years and it was the hardest phone call and decision I ever had to make. Dr. Vaino was very wonderful explaining everything to us. Both my boys 9 and 8 were in the room. She made the experience very peaceful. I know Mitzie is finally at peace. 💔🐶❤

Dr. Vaino was excellent. I couldn't have asked for someone with more compassion. She made Jet so comfortable and calm when meeting him. He was very relaxed, and he doesn't do well with vets. She had a calmness that made me feel so much better during the visit. Jet was eating treats and never even flinched when getting his sleep shot. As he quietly feel asleep, she gave her thanks to him for being a great dog while here on earth and making our family happy. Then gave me time to say goodbye before the final medication was given.
