Beautiful restaurant, had a great time celebrating a friend's birthday. Waiter was very kind and helpful and we tried the chefs tasting menu which was excellent and timed perfectly with each of the four courses coming out separately.

Chef’s choice was at $95 per person, they gave you so much food and you can’t really finish. Most are tasty, service was exceptional. Only thing need to improve, sea bass was way too salty. Bigeye tuna roll was weak

Favorite restaurant!!! Amazing atmosphere, incredibly fast service, very clean, everything that we ordered was amazing! It’s very hard to have it all at the same place. But this is the place! Highly recommended!
On Mondays they have special prices!

Our server Sal & Ming were so attentive even when it was busy!! Honestly, one of the best restaurant experiences we’ve ever had.

We got so many delicious apps! The pork gyoza was amazing! The beef waygu fried rice was amazing too! We highly recommend this place and will be back on our next trip to Borgata! We thought this place would be good but not stand out in anyway and we were wrong!

I’ve been coming here for 4 years straight. I can not come to Atlantic without eating here. Sometimes i might even eat here twice during my stay. Staff is incredible kind respectful always friendly faces. My wife didn’t eat sushi until we started dining here and I begged her to try since then i can’t get her to stop. We love everything on the menu :

Yellowtail Jalapeños
Tuna Appetizer
Chicken wings
Ginger Salad
Steak skewers
And the Sushi roll dessert ughhhhh unbelievable.

The staff was very friendly and the food was great. They have socially distant seating which was being observed properly. The food came out quickly and was high quality.
The salmon was well one and tasted fresh.
The Fish tacos were also very flavorful and mildly spicy.
My only complaint is that the portion sizes are very small. While they do tell you this ahead of time, it is still frustrating.

I was greeted and seated very fast! All the servers were attentive. I wish there was more kimchi in the fried rice. All the food was good. The sashimi was on point. Next time I may just order that! The rice and filet were good but nothing to rave about.

Great meal. Certainly pricey, but worth it. Had the tasting menu and all were completely satisfied. We will absolutely be returning. The service was exceptional as well which is quite something in our pandemic world.

My waiter Mitchell I think - shoot I forget his name and meant to take a pic of the bill so I could request him next time - he was awesome and really added to me enjoying the experience - I dined alone but ordered the full tasting menu for two and he was awesome. Thank you and a suggestion is that it would be cool if next time I come down and wanted to order the tasting menu could sub some stuff out to try other menu items but I get it and understand that’s difficult!

Wow! Wow! Wow! My wife and I absolutely loved every item that we picked, but our ultimate favorite was the “Hot Oil Yellowtail. Our waiter Jim, was very helpful and attentive.

Trendy vibes. Very dark interior with dim lighting. Came with a large group and ordered drinks and food to share. Pear lychee martini is supposedly the most popular drink and it was delish.

Some of our favorites were: Hot Oil Yellowtail, Tuna Avocado, Crispy Rock Shrimp, Wagyu Beef Rice, Charred Chilean Sea Bass, and Big Eye Tuna Roll

Great service from Michael the server. Helped us order the perfect amount and was very attentive. Dishes came out pretty fast. Our go to when at Borgata.

First time dining at Izakaya. Love the dark, romantic ambiance. Service was attentive, polite and very professional. We ordered from the Tasting Menu. We absolutely love everything they brought out. Very tasty, yet delicate and mild. All the meals were sized appropriately. We look forward to dining at Izakaya again.

Delicious and very fast service. The ambiance is nice. They say us down right away. Our waiter was very friendly. The fish was very fresh and left us feeling good. Will definitely be back.

Overall great experience! The atmosphere is lovely, waitstaff friendly and the food was fantastic! We did wish they would have checked in a bit more so we could order more! The open kitchen style was quite fun and it was some of the best food we had on our trip!!

The food was delicious. Server was really nice. Yellow tail was my favorite thing on the menu!

A great funky modern take of contemporary asian and Japanese cuisine. Located inside Borgata resort casino. Every Monday they serve $7.00 menu and drink all day and night. Char siew ribs, tuna tartar, cauliflower are so delicious and presented in unique way. The restaurant are quite dark so make sure u have flash light to read the menu :)

We have been here many times and it is always excellent. The food and the service are top notch. Be sure to make a reservation. It is a very popular restaurant.

Fantastic food! Fantastic staff! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere told us we were in coffee a treat. Between the two of us, we shared 7 or 8 dishes and were constantly wow'ed. Among highlights were the Japanese Scallop which melted like candy, the Wagyu beef which was so flavorful, the well seasoned asparagus, the chocolate carmel cake which was a decadent way to end the meal, and even the mint tea exceeded expectations. There is a separate gluten free menu and the waiter provided gluten free soy sauce. They took note of the gluten sensitivity at time of reservation, confirmed at the hostess stand, and then also confirmed by the waiter so we had no doubts that it would be a safe place to eat - we didnt have to think each dish was brought out. We would return without question.

Excellent food and excellent service. We went with the three course chef's selection for $95 and everything they served us was amazing.

First time visit and literally can't wait to come back. Tasting menu was unbelievable! Excellent portion sizing and good range of offerings. So many great tasting items.

Service staff was on the ball too. Prompt water refills, plate clearing, etc. Great work by ALL of the staff both front and back of house.
