Bayview Park

Bayview Park is such a nice place to spend a few hours. Whether you're just sitting looking out at the bay or taking part in the many activities it offers, you will enjoy yourself.
Yesterday we attended the 125th anniversary party for LBT. They had a petting zoo, bounce houses, and of course they always have a fun playground for the kids.
We enjoyed the food truck, I believe it's called the Barn Grill. The smash burgers were delicious, served with fries and a drink. The live music was very good too.

Take advantage of this great area!
Oh, and there is a swimming area if you don't want to trek over the dunes to the ocean!

This a great bay beach. $10 cash for the day, or you can purchase on the app. Great for the kids since it's a fenced off area for them to swim. Water sports, a playground, a food truck, bathrooms, and showers are also available. The parking lot does fill up, so you may have to find parking nearby.

Safe and clean place to watch the sunset

Great beach with a playground, picnic area, gazebo, volleyball court, basketball courts, pickle ball courts, bocce ball courts, rentals and lessons for kayaks, SUPs, sailing/windsurfing on the side beach. This guarded bay beach for kids, families & water bugs has bathrooms,showers and changing area. Bring your beach badges if going into the water or sit on beach.If you are taking lessons of any water sports you do not need a badge,but if you stay the day or if family is watching you need the badges.This bay beach is wonderful for younger kids to bring seine nets and catch-release some marine life.he bay at high tide may get to be 5 feet deep,at low tide the little ones can wade out to about 3 feet which is nice for a big area to explore & feel like they are in the “big” bay.There are free concerts in the summer at as well, Sun., Mon, & Tue.

Best bay beach, park, bathrooms, and events on the island. Such a great place! I recommend it especially for families with small ones.

This is a fun little bay beach that the kids always have fun at. There is a playground and swing set. During the summer, there is a food stand that is great for a quick bite. The ice cream truck also comes through pretty often. The bay beach swimming area is nice if you just want to take a dip in the bay, but it doesn't get very deep at all. The dock there is great for enjoying the breeze, as there are tons of benches. It also has a watersport area for launching kayaks, windsurfing, and more.

Great place for kids. Fenced-in Beach area, about 1-2 feet deep. No large waves. There was a lifeguard when we were there. A small playground with about 7-10 small slides. Swings; 2 baby, 1 handicapped, and 1 regular swing. A food truck with decent selection. An Ice-cream truck stopped multiple times. A ropes course as well.

One of the few public bay access on LBI, but has something for everyone. Swim area for the little ones, playground and food. At the north end there is access for paddleboards, kayaks along with rentals for such. Windsurfing and other water sports are very popular out of Bayview. You can spend the day here easily. Restrooms and showers are right on site and are well maintained.

Clean spot to relax and watch a sunset, picnic and take your kid to the park and run around in the sand. There's also a small beach off to the side.
Its March 2022 and the park is in good shape so no worries about worn stuff for your kids to get hurt on.

Great Beach very accessible parking in the summer there are showers and bathrooms right here. One of my favorite places to come to you and it's a great Surfers break as well if you're into that kind of thing and paddle out, it does get crowded when the surf is good and it's also a kind of parking lot in the mornings with the joggers and walkers but otherwise can't beat the spot

Place is small but clean. Food truck there (Sunny Raes) has great food. Perfect place to take little kids to the beach if they have you out numbered. The deepest part of the fenced in swimming area was only up to my four year old granddaughters chest

Great little park for the kids and a beach right next to it. Park is always clean and kept in good shape. Nice walking deck to sit and watch the sunset and there are also 2 gazebos here as well to sit under.

A great park for entire family. Kids can play on play ground while parents sit at the bay with a perfect view of their kids. Once kids are hot they can jump in the water. And the ice cream man is sure to visit more than once

Friendly area, never see trash, and it's excellent for little ones. There is a life gaurd on duty but the water has never been deeper than my waist which makes it perfect. There is a nice playground and the ice cream truck comes about once an hour. $7 beach badges.

Great playground for the kids. Mostly fenced in with benches, settings, slides, etc. There is a nice, small walkway/boardwalk that is great for looking it into the bay. Sunset is beautiful here so being a camera.
