The Show Place Ice Cream Parlour

Pretty amazing and special place. Don't get discouraged by the price of the items on the menu (most of the sundaes are around 10 bucks), you're not just paying for dessert, you're paying for a 1-hour show tune experience. They used to be cash only, but they take credit cards now as well as donations in cash after the show. The kids are energetic and they involve people in the crowd. Based on what you order, you may have to dance around, sing a song or even join a conga line. This is a great place to bring the family. Totally worth the price of admission and the ice cream is good to boot.

Very fun! The element of audience participation is definitely a stressor for anyone with social anxiety, but me and my friend were lucky enough not to be picked. Seems very fun if thats a thing you're into though! The ice cream was great (the wet nuts are walnuts with caramel on them btw) the lemonade was ok, and the atmosphere was very rainforest-cafe-like!

Such a fun place for the family. The ice cream is good but the experience is what you go for. The staff is friendly, on-point, full of energy and they put on a nice show. They get everyone involved so be ready to participate. The great memories you form here are worth every penny. I don't know how they do it but they cram a lot into one hour. Make sure to do the reservations ahead of time and arrive early so that you don't miss a thing. Enjoy!

Such a fun and unique place! The ice cream is great but the staff are the real stars of this show! They are all fun and friendly and so much energy! Be prepared to participate! If your Lactose Intolerant, like I am, you can choose between raspberry, lemon Sorbet or Dairy Free Vanilla.

Awesome little ice cream parlor in the heart of Beach Haven. Great place for ice cream in the summer. A nice little place to stop. Look out for Tea Party to Go. They use this venue for their high teas; converting the little parlor into a traditional English tea party. Phenomenal place.

This place was really sweet. The people working are so friendly. They are working so hard, and with a smile on their face. We went after a show at next door's Surflight Theater, and were entertained with a whole other show. Our family found it very entertaining and charming.

The ice cream itself was fine, but not spectacular. The real reason to go is for the show. The hosts/wait staff are incredibly talented, energetic, and fun. They do a great job inviting everyone in to join in on the fun. Definitely a fun thing to do as a family, especially with school-aged kids!

Went twice while vacationing in LBI . Once w my sister n brother in law from florida. And for my granddaughters birthday. A great place for All ages . Entertainment is amazing.

Such a fun place to grab some ice cream! Desserts are all themed after various musicals which results in a different "show" for each seating. Be sure to ask what flavors they have

A feast for the eyes, ears and palette! A must see!! Our host, Amanda was fantastic! She had sparkle & energy and perfect comedic timing!! Our waiter, Matthew was great! He kept us entertained and brought us our ice cream perfectly chilled! We were amazed not only by the very talented waitri/cast but also by how hard they worked flipping the Show Place over for our show and then the guests after us!! We all had so much fun!! We’ll be back! Bravo!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It was my second time at the showplace, and it was so so fun!

So much fun!! 10 out of 10. The whole experience was amazing -- singing, dancing, show, and ice cream. Chaotic and hilarious. A staple of LBI. Highly recommend!!

One of the best parts of our week at LBI! The "cast" puts on a wonderful performance and the ice cream was delicious (and plentiful)! A little pricier than your typical ice cream parlor, but considering you get a whole production, it's definitely a steal! Didn't get to take too many pics because we were all having so much fun.

Amazing experience every time we go. A must if you visit the island. Prices are not that bad considering what you get with your order. There is a $7.00 minimum per person for your order but the price to portion and included performances are worth every penny.

Completely delightful! So impressed with the young adult performers. Great for families great for seniors. Actually a fantastic experience for one and all. Can’t wait to go back!

Kudos to Show Place for following the CDC guidelines to keep patrons safe during this pandemic. As a mother of toddlers, I appreciate the level of seriousness the staff took for: wellness checks, wearing masks, sanitizing shared objects (menus) and keeping everyone socially distanced. None of the precautions felt invasive either. The staff was energetic, kind, and knowledgeable. Their enthusiasm for their job was palpable. Thank you for the show! My girls loved it! We will 100% be back in the future.

I have a really high bar for sweets and ice cream and this place is top notch. Small Sundae is huge portion. Cookie dough and peanut butter ice cream excellent. Peanut butter sauce and hot fudge also excellent. So good, I’m skipping other places to come here again, 10 out of 10.

So much fun and so glad they reopened. Our first trip back to LBI in two years and got to take my 2 year old to the only place you have to sing for your ice cream! Went as a child so this brought back many fond memories. If you have children this is a must visit on LBI! Come hungry the portions are humongous!
