Grind Coffee & Bistro

We love coming to Grind for a yummy treat, or just to spend time with friends! I highly recommend the chicken salad when it’s available. My favorite drinks are either a hot peppermint latte or an iced or hot caramel drizzle.

I was recommended to come try this place! The service was so sweet, the coffees came out fast, and the salad was bomb! It was beautiful, too!

Very nice shop. We enjoyed our drinks and treats, the chocolate muffin was a little dry but everything else was perfect. I especially liked the lavender late. My only complaint is that the tables were a bit sticky.

I absolutely love Grind! Best customer service and truly a place where I feel like everyone feels at home! My go to favorites when we come to town are the apple bacon grilled cheese, a skinny latte and my kids love the ice cream!

My husband and I stopped in at about 2:30 one afternoon. It smelled delightful and the barista was super nice. But, she said they didn't serve food after 2. We picked from the case which had very few gluten free options. I got an overnight oats and my husband got a scone. We both got coffees. Our coffee was delightful and he said his scone was wonderful. However, my oats were super watery, no matter how much I stirred them. I got about half the cup down but couldn't do anymore. The cafe was clean and very cute.

I had my first visit yesterday. I was so impressed by how charming the decor is! The barista was very friendly and she did an excellent job making my sugar free hazelnut latte with almond milk. I will be coming to visit again!

Exceptional quality and unique flavors combinations that just work. This is a hidden gem that locals know about and others are learning of. Coffee is great….food is top notch and their crew is “small town friendly”.
I’ve had breakfasts and lunches there and every single time, its been 5 star.
If you’re in California, Missouri, you already know about this place and frequent it. If you’re from out of town, its worth a trip.

Cool place in town. Great coffee with bakery items and breakfast and lunch. Great asset to community. The décor is really cool industrial. The craftsmanship is top quality and rivals big city counterparts. Worthy of a stop either a quick stop or stay and linger.

Food and service were great. Situated in lovely downtown California, Missouri, if you're looking for a nice coffee shop with some decent food, this is the place.

Woke up one morning and wanted to go for a cruise. Picked this little coffee shop out of thin air. They were very friendly. Such a good time. Lots of cute little shops around that allowed us to sip on coffee and walk around and look around. Cute little town with a cute little coffee shop.

I love the Grind. Chelsea and Maddi (sp) are so sweet.The soup and panini’s are really good and I haven’t had a coffee or tea I haven’t liked. They have really helped our Oak street come alive and this past years Oak street fall crawl and Christmas crawl were sooo much fun and so welcome to our small community! Who needs Starbucks or Dunn Brothers when you can shop local at The Grind❤ and it’s just as good if not better😄

Grind has a cozy and family-style environment which was evident as soon as I walked in. Chelsea, the owner, knew customers by name and their orders. But my favorite part of this coffee shop is that all of the products are locally sourced and it have vegan/vegetarian/keto friendly options!

Servers were friendly and the place has charm. I ordered the half sandwich and salad and it came with pasta salad too. Food was great. And the coffee is very good.
